본 연구는 현재 통계학회의 홈페이지(http://www.kss.or.kr)를 통해 서비스중인 ${\ulcorner}$통계학용어 온라인 대조표${\lrcorner}$를 개인의 PC에 설치하여 보다 손쉽게 통계용어의 검색에 활용할 수 있도록 소프트웨어로 재구성한 것이다. 따라서 사용자는 웹에 접속이 불가능한 경우에도 알파벳이나 가나다순의 검색 및 키워드를 입력한 검색이 가능하며, 검색된 결과의 레이아웃이나 글꼴을 조정하여 출력도 가능하다. 구현된 소프트웨어는 앞으로 추가되는 자료가 있더라도 사용된 데이터베이스만을 업데이트하면 소프트웨어에 대한 추가수정 없이 재사용이 가능하도록 구성되었다.

컴퓨터 및 네트워크 기술의 발전은 대학 교육에도 많은 변화를 가져오고 있다. 본 연구에서는 웹/멀티미디어를 통한 통계교육용 통합 소프트웨어 iSTAT을 소개한다. 이 소프트웨어는 통계 초보자들을 위한 교육의 일환으로 전통적인 강의 동영상과 전자책(e-book)을 포함하고 있고, 아울러 복잡한 통계이론의 이해를 돕기 위해 고안된 통계강의 보조시스템 CATS와 통계자료분석 실습용 통계패키지 S-Link, 그리고 배운 이론에 대한 평가 모듈이 있다. 이밖에도 관련 이론에 대한 유용한 웹사이트에 링크를 할 수 있다. 이 종합 시스템을 초보자에게 제공함으로서 통계라는 학문을 보다 쉽고 실제 응용이 가능한 학문으로 보급되기를 기대한다.

A multimedia software for introductory education is developed based on computer simulation. Developing tools for educational software are discussed. A developed software can be used interactively in teaching of statistical basic concepts.

본 발표에서는 1998년 서울대학교 통계학과에서 개발한 KESS(Korean Educational Statistical System; http://stats.snu.ac.kr/time)의 추가로 개발된 내용을 소개하기로 한다 (조신섭 외, 1999). 추가로 개발된 모듈(module)들은 통계교육에서 필요로 하는 분석법들 중에서 회귀분석, 시계열분석과 연관된 내용들이다. 기존의 여러 가지 통계패키지와 비교해 보아 효율적인 통계교육을 위한 필수적인 옵션 및 분석 결과를 제공하도록 하였다.

A computer software for nonlinear regression analysis, NLIN90, was developed to provide easy access and useful information for more precise analysis which can be obtained from the newly developed theory. Together with the elementary statistics, it provides statistics for curvature analysis of model function and of each parameter, for curvaure analysis of transformed parameters, for experimental design analysis, and for residual analysis. Easy access is obtained by utilizing a database of nonlinear models.

This paper shows that mathematics and statistics are not only a necessity but a strategic element in contributing for the competitiveness of field of S/W and H/W. First, a survey was conducted to investigate the perceived importance of mathematics and statistics to the specialists of the field. Second, computer programming was implemented in university mathematics courses to understand the educational effect related to problem solving ability. Third, a educational case in which mathematics and statistics in S/W and H/W subject were combined was analyzed. Lastly, an effective plan for mathematics and statistics education in the field of S/W and H/W will be presented.

최근 정보기술 분야의 급속한 발전과 더불어 기업 및 사회 각 분야의 데이터베이스에 쌓이고 있는 데이터의 양도 급격히 증가하고 있으며, 이러한 관점에서 데이터마이닝이 큰 주목을 받고 있다. 따라서 다양한 데이터마이닝 기법들이 연구되고 있으며 데이터마이닝을 보다 손쉽게 수행할 수 있는 여러 상용화된 소프트웨어들이 개발되어 있다. 이들 데이터마이닝 소프트웨어들은 여러 가지 관점에서 서로 다른 모습을 가지고 있는데, 따라서 이들의 기능과 성능은 많은 사용자들의 큰 관심이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 널리 사용되고 있는 몇 가지 데이터마이닝 소프트웨어들에 대해 기능상의 차이점 및 실제 사용에 있어서의 효율 등을 비교하고자 한다.

전 세계적으로 유행하는 COVID-19(코로나19)로 인해 사람들은 대면 접촉을 피하게 되었고, 전염성이 높은 이유로 마스크의 착용이 의무화되고 있고, 이를 검사하는 업무가 증가하고 있다. 그래서, 인공지능 기술을 통해 업무를 도와줄 수 있는 출입자 통계와 출입자 마스크 착용 검사를 할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 딥러닝 알고리즘을 활용한 출입자 통계와 마스크 착용 판별 시스템을 제시한다. 또한, 실시간 영상인식에 많이 활용되고 있는 YOLO-v3와 YOLO-v4, YOLO-Tiny 알고리즘을 데스크탑 PC와 Nvidia사의 Jetson Nano에 적용하여 알고리즘별 성능 비교를 통해 적합한 방법을 찾고 적용하였다.

A software, the CATS (Computer Aided Teaching for Statistics), which is specially designed for teaching elementary statistics using the personal computer is developed. This software helps the novice to understand the complicated statistical theories, for example the central limit theorem, which are not easy to teach in classroom. The software is also designed for practicing the elementary statistical techniques using the small amount of data as the other statistical packages.
