Objectives: This purpose of this study was to make clear the fitness to data of the causality model related to father's child-rearing participation in a double-income household. Methods: Subjects of this survey consisted of the fathers of 2,006 households that use 21 day-care centers and 4 kindergartens whose cooperation was received via the city government departments that have jurisdiction over day-care centers and kindergartens in cities A and B in prefecture I and in city C in prefecture II (city A: 499 households; city B: 1,113 households; city C: 988 households). The surveyed items consisted of the father's age, the father's educational history, the number of children, the age of the youngest child, the father's parental-role awareness, the father's daily working hours, the father's return-home time, and child-rearing participation by the father. Results: The fit indices were found to be CFI = 0.912, GFI = 0.948, and RMSEA = 0.082. Regarding the path coefficients, the path coefficient of the pathway from the age of the youngest child to the father's parent positivity (0.08) and the path coefficient of the pathway from the father's parent positivity to child-rearing participation (0.19) were both at statistically significant levels. Also, the father's return-home time and the working hours, which were considered as disincentives exhibited a direct effect on child-rearing participation without being influenced by the father's parent positivity or parent negativity. The path coefficient of the pathway from return-home time to child-rearing participation was -0.43, and the path coefficient of the pathway from working hours to child-rearing participation was -0.13. The value of the path coefficient expressing the relationship between the return-home time and working hours was 0.80. Conclusion: Authors infered that it'll be the basic material to build a generation mechanism about vanity and father's child-rearing participation appropriately as a result of this research.

This study researched the changing characteristics of Korean visitors to New Zealand after the IMF Crisis(the 1997 Korean financial collapse), through data from New Zealand Tourism Board and an internet-based survey. Since the Korean financial collapse, the Korean visitor to New Zealand has changed from an older to a younger generation. The reason for this change in age is considered clue to visiting as a family group, visiting to study English and the popularity of touring among the young adult generation. Thus the numbers of older generation travelers has decreased steeply, while an increase in younger visitors has occurred and they stay for longer and come during the school vacation period. The preferred or most popular itinerary is influenced by New Zealand's travel infrastructure, the younger travelers seeking adventure tourism, where this is located and package tours fixed itineraries. The main tour activities at attractions is visiting the tourist information centre, museums and internet cafes. These activities were popular with the younger generation and, along with New Zealand's unique scenic resources and famous activities, attracted visitors to the main tourist destinations. The average satisfaction levels of the respondents, according to the survey was 3.52 out of 5.00 criterion, this resulted from analysis of 14items and their satisfaction levels. New Zealand and Korean tourism policy makers, including travel agents and tourism development authorities, need to devise efficient tourism policy to accommodate these changing characteristics of Korean tourists, as highlighted through the results of this study.
The purpose of study was to examine the entrepreneurial supporting policy and the entrepreneurship which can affect the entrepreneurial intention, and to prove the moderating effect of the business failure burden and the self-efficacy on the relationship of the entrepreneurial supporting policy, entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial intention through the empirical study in the fusion of industries. We used data from 321 survey participants by using structured questionnaires, excluding dishonest respondents, and statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 18.0 statistic package. We used hierarchical regression technique to prove our hypothesis. The results showed that education and marketing support which are part of the entrepreneurial supporting policy in the fusion of industries will have positive influence on innovativeness, pro-activeness and risk acceptability which are part of entrepreneurship. It has been reported that only funding support has positive influence on entrepreneurship pro-activeness. The results also indicated that the entrepreneurial supporting policy will have positive influence on the entrepreneurial intention, but business failure burden and self-efficacy will have no moderating effect in the relation between the entrepreneurial supporting policy and the entrepreneurship. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings were discussed and the directions for future research were presented.

This paper presents the Part 1 of the Questionnaire Survey on Marine Safety and VTS in the Philippine Coastal Waters. This part deals with respondents profiles; experiences onboard and ashore; familiar areas; and their subjective perception of marine risks- by factors and by areas. The subjects are chosen from different regions nationwide with connection and/or with maritime background. There are 202 responses returned and these are put into a database for analysis made through Excel programs and statistics references. The result of the nationwide responses show that 97 % of respondents have shipboard experiences onboard of different ships' types and sizes; and 88 % are directly involved in the navigation of ships. Risk Perception levels - by factors and by familiar areas - show a higher risk degree in the 3rd level ('Sometimes Increases Risks') and 4th level ('Often Increases Risk') in each respondents' response indices. The study finds that the most risky factor is the "Violation of Rules and Regulations" which has a high risk at 5th level (Very Often Increases Risk), and for the over-all familiar areas, the Manila Bay area (NCR region) garners the most risky perception, also, at the 5th level. It is, therefore, recommended by this paper to conduct a comprehensive review of the rules and regulations viable in each locality; strengthening the maritime traffic systems, structures and educating the stake-holders specifically in Manila Bay area and other busy waterways of the country. The ultimate goal of this paper is to gather information, analyze these data and develop a set of tools and techniques to be utilized as a guide in the improvement and development of maritime traffic safety in the country.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether using a dietary education program based on learning cycle model has any significant effect on enhancing their nutrition knowledge, dietary behavior, science-process skill and scientific attitude. The purpose of this study was to develop and explore the effectiveness of a peer-leadership program on the recovery of people with mental illness. To develop the program, a literature review and an analysis of developed programs were performed.Brown's recovery framework was applied, including an understanding of mental illness, self-leadership, empowerment, and self-directed action plans. A program was developed (6 sessions over 3 days) including peer-led activities, disability awareness and perception, and recovery action plans. The program consisted of education, understanding, planning, and implementation. Its focus was on recovery-oriented activities for empowering people with mental illness. Twenty people with mental illness and using mental rehabilitation centers participated in the program. Four scales (i.e., stigma, empowerment, leadership, and disability awareness) were used for the pre-post analysis. The study results showed statistically significant differences in the participants' levels of stigma (p< .05), empowerment (p < .05), leadership (p< .01), and disability awareness (p< .05) after completing the program. These findings suggest that the peer-leadership program is a recovery program that includes increased understanding of mental illness, empowerment, and leadership capability. Discussions and suggestions were provided for a future study based on the results.

There is increasing tension and anxiety about being evaluated by others such as anxiety, which is felt when others' evaluation is expected or actual, and this is called social interaction anxiety. The purpose of this study was to develop a nursing intervention program that can reduce social interaction anxiety among nursing college students by analyzing factors affecting social interaction anxiety in nursing college students. The subjects of this study were four nursing college students in B city and C city. The survey data were analyzed using frequencies, percentages, means, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression with the SPSS WIN 21.0 program. The results of this study show that social interaction anxiety was positively correlated with fear of negative evaluation (r=.67, p<.001), fear of positive evaluation (r=.56, p<.001), and intolerance of uncertainty (r=.44, p<.001). Factors affecting ambivalence over emotional expressiveness in terms of social interaction anxiety was interpersonal relationship (β=.19, p<.001), fear of negative evaluation (β=.43, p<.001), and fear of positive evaluation (β=.34, p<.001). The explanatory power of these variables was 58.1%. Therefore, it is thought that nursing college students need to provide a support system to maintain good interpersonal relationships, to reduce sensitivity to positive and negative evaluation, and to accept and positively evaluate their own ability.

The aim of this study was to identify the relationship between smartphone usage time and oral health among Korean adolescents using data from the 13th (2017) Korea Youth Health Behavior Survey, which included 62,276 subjects. The daily smartphone usage time was categorized as not used, less than 2 hours, more than 2 hours, less than 4 hours, and more than 4 hours. Our results reveal that 60.1% of participants and 61.7% of smartphone users experienced oral disease symptoms annually, 27.4% of total adolescents used smartphone more than 4 hours daily during weekdays, and 53.8% more than 4 hours daily on weekends. The results from multivariate logistic regression analysis adjusting general characteristics show that the adjusted odds ratio (aOR) for risk of oral disease experience was 1.78 (95% confidence interval, CI 1.67-1.91) times higher in the group that used smartphones more than 4 hours a day on weekdays and 1.81 (95% CI 1.70-1.93) times higher in the group that used smartphones more than 4 hours a day on weekends compared to the group that did not use smartphones. The results indicate that smartphone overuse among Korean adolescents has a harmful effect on oral health. Education programs for reducing excessive use of smartphones among adolescents will help promote oral health.
