Several problems occur in reading education in a elementary school. They are the lack of considering the difference of student's capability and diagnosing their reading ability, the review activity focusing on only text and the discontinuation between school and home. Our system is designed and implemented to support leveled reading education using multimedia technology. We can diagnose the student's reading ability exactly and promptly and introduce suitable books considering their ability, and work the proper review activities with this system. It can help the students to interest their reading.

Ontology defines the terms used in a specific domain and the relationships between them and represents them as hierarchical taxonomy. The present paper proposes a semi-automatic domain-specific ontology construction method based on terminology Processing. For this purpose, it presents an algorithm to extract terminology according to the noun/suffix pattern of terminology in domain texts and find their hierarchical structure. The experiment was carried out using pharmacy-related documents. As singleton terminology with noun/suffix were identified, the average accuracy was 92.57%. In case of multi-word terminology, the average accuracy was 66.64%. The constructed ontology forms natural semantic clusters with based on suffices and semantic information, so can be utilized in approaches to specific knowledge such as information look-up or as the base of inference to improve searching abilities.

Barcode labels are being widely used for identifying products since they are cheap and easy to use. As the barcode labels are massively produced by seal printing, some labels have defects such as poor printing quality or data mismatch between barcode and the text. Barcode read errors and business errors caused by defected barcodes result in delay in logistics and increased processing costs. In this paper, we propose an on-line barcode verification system that uses image processing technique to verify the quality of labels at the production stage. The proposed system captures label images through the vision camera and then checks the print quality and verifies the combination of barcodes and texts in a label. If any defected label is found, the proposed system gives alarm signals and marks the defected labels so that they are removed at early stage of the production.

Location Based Services using GPS receiver with network enabled smart phone provides various services and many business models. Currently, many context awareness models on smart phone applications are under developing. But most of the services are based on current user position and Point of Interest(POI)s, which are very static. In this paper, we proposed and implemented multimedia tourist guide system using smart phone, which are very dynamic and provides tour guide's voice and audio service on the spot. Also we provides tour experience sharing method which can easily share the videos and pictures for each users.

Homepage design on the Web is incredibly growing fast as the integrative information method than any other media. At the beginning the homepage was designed by text mostly, however, it has been changed to use the multimedia. Design in the Web is changed by the development of computer technology. Rnal destination of Web is an user platform that consists of pixel of monitor screen. Monitor requires different approach from printing material because of the limited of range of presentation and the property of light. This paper has studied to find the possibilities of expression of type which can be the basic structure for HTML. By the case study of homepage, it has analyzed the kind of types, presentation method, the number of frequency, and variation of design.

SNS와 스마트기기의 발전으로 온라인을 통한 뉴스 배포가 용이해지면서 악의적으로 조작된 뉴스가 급속도로 생성되어 확산되고 있다. 뉴스 조작은 다양한 형태로 이루어지는데, 이 중에서 정상적인 기사 내에 광고나 낚시성 내용을 포함시켜 독자가 의도하지 않은 정보에 노출되게 하는 형태는 독자가 해당 내용을 진짜 뉴스로 받아들이기 쉽다. 본 논문에서는 뉴스 기사 내에 포함된 문단 중에서 부적합한 문단이 포함 되었는지를 판정하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방식에서는 자연어 처리에 유용한 Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)모델 중 Word2Vec과 tf-idf 알고리즘, 로지스틱 회귀를 함께 이용하여 뉴스 부적합 문단을 검출한다. 본 시스템에서는 로지스틱 회귀를 이용하여 문단의 카테고리를 분류하여 본문의 카테고리 분포도를 계산하고 Word2Vec을 이용하여 문단간의 유사도를 계산한 결과에 가중치를 부여하여 부적합 문단을 검출한다.

본 논문에서는 일반 데스크탑 PC의 디스플레이 성능에 적합하도록 작성된 유선의 웹 문서를 무선 인터넷 환경의 핸드헬드 계열 소형 단말에서도 효율적으로 표현하기 위한 변환 기법을 제시한다. 이는 기존의 단순한 텍스트 위주의 추출 및 형식의 변환과는 달리, 분석 및 변환을 위한 최소 내용 단위를 설정하고, 이들의 재배치를 통하여 원본 웹 문서의 정보를 보다 정확히 반영한다. 또한 새로운 인덱스 형식으로의 재표현을 통하여 기존의 페이지 조각과 계층적 구조의 인덱스 링크를 이용한 인터페이스보다 편리한 검색 및 페이지 이동을 제공한다. 이 기법은 보다 많은 정보를 복잡한 구조로 표현하는 현재의 웹 문서 특징을 반영하고, 이동 단말들의 고성능화 추세와 함께 화려한 무선 인터넷을 요구하는 사용자들을 고려한 것이다. 전체 변환 과정은 Layout-Forming Tag Analysis Algorithm, Component Grouping Algorithm Component Block Classification Method, Index Generation Method로 구성된다. 변환 시스템의 구성 모듈별 설계와 프로토타입의 구현을 통하여 제안하는 알고리즘 및 변환 방법을 평가하였고, 실제 웹 문서에 대한 실험 결과에서 단말의 소형 화면에 적합하게 변환된 모습을 확인하였다.

멀티미디어 서비스 수요의 증가는 네트워크 상에서 기존의 문자기반의 컨텐츠 제공 서비스의 수요를 이미 앞질렀으며 네트워크와 시스템 자원의 발전에 따라 사용자 요구는 그에 따라 더욱 폭 넓게 증가하고 있다. 우수한 품질의 동영상 데이터를 온라인 상에서 품질 저하 없이 서비스 받을 수 있는 것을 넘어 사용자는 컨텐츠에 파생되는 부가의 서비스를 요구하게 되었고 이는 기존의 텍스트 정보에 의한 양방향 서비스가 아닌 사용자의 요구에 따른 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 자체에 대한 서비스를 위한 정보시스템이 필요하게 되었음을 의미한다. 본 논문에서는 객체 단위의 동영상을 실시간으로 합성하여 이를 사용자에게 즉시 서비스하는 양방향 멀티미디어 서버 시스템의 설계와 구현에 대해 기술하였다. 구현된 시스템은 사용자에게 일방적인 데이터를 전송하는 기존의 시스템과 달리 적용 가능한 객체 단위 동영상을 합성 전송하고 자동 추출된 실시간 오브젝트를 다양한 배경화면과 함께 합성하여 서비스 할 수 있는 기능 구조를 가진다. 또한 멀티미디어 서버의 주요 목표를 반영하여 확장과 성능을 고려한 클러스터 On-Demand 서버를 구성하였으며 서버와 서비스 관리를 위한 모든 구성요소를 포함하여 실제 서비스가 가능한 완전한 미디어 시스템을 설계 구현하였다.

선박 안전항해를 위해 항해용 해도와 같은 수로 정보와 함께 해사안전정보(MSI), 항행통보(NM), 항행경보와 같이 임의적인 안전관련 정보들이 이용될 수 있다. 현재 GMDSS 제도의 시행에 따라 해사안전정보와 항행경보 등의 정보들이 NAVTEX 등의 장비를 통해 텍스트 형태로 선박에 전달되고 있으나 이런 형식의 정보들은 기존 종이해도 또는 전자해도를 사용하는 ECDIS의 다양한 첨단 항해 지원 기능과 연계하기 어려운 단점이 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해 사례로 유럽은 e-Navigation Test-bed 프로젝트에서 IHO의 S-100 표준을 기반으로 하는 해사안전정보 데이터 표준을 수립하고 이를 활용한 서비스 연구 및 검증을 수행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국제수로기구의 S-100 표준에 따라 해사안전정보를 객체화 하여 모델링하고 이를 전자해도 정보와 연계하여 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위해 유럽의 e-Navigation Test-bed 프로젝트에서의 해사안전정보 연구 사례(S-100 표준 기반의 해사안전정보 제품 표준), 국제수로기구의 해사안전정보 매뉴얼 등을 분석하여 국내 해사안전정보 서비스를 위해 필요한 기술개발 내역 및 방안을 제안 하였다.

As the performance of mobile devices has dramatically improved, users can perform many tasks in a mobile environment. This means that the use of behavior information stored in the mobile device can tell a lot of users. For example, a user's text message and frequently used application information (behavioral information) can be utilized to create useful information, such as whether the user is interested in parenting(profile prediction). In this study, I investigate the behavior information of the user that can be collected in the mobile device and propose the item that can profile the user. And I also suggest ideas about how to utilize profiling information.
