The Effect of Text Consistency between the Review Title and Content on Review Helpfulness (온라인 리뷰의 제목과 내용의 일치성이 리뷰 유용성에 미치는 영향)

  • Many studies have proposed several factors that affect review helpfulness. Previous studies have investigated the effect of quantitative factors (e.g., star ratings) and affective factors (e.g., sentiment scores) on review helpfulness. Online reviews contain titles and contents, but existing studies focus on the review content. However, there is a limitation to investigating the factors that affect review helpfulness based on the review content without considering the review title. However, previous studies independently investigated the effect of review content and title on review helpfulness. However, it may ignore the potential impact of similarity between review titles and content on review helpfulness. This study used text consistency between review titles and content affect review helpfulness based on the mere exposure effect theory. We also considered the role of information clearness, review length, and source reliability. The results show that text consistency between the review title and the content negatively affects the review helpfulness. Furthermore, we found that information clearness and source reliability weaken the negative effects of text consistency on review helpfulness.

An Analysis Scheme Design of Customer Spending Pattern using Text Mining (텍스트 마이닝을 이용한 소비자 소비패턴 분석 기법 설계)

  • In this paper, we propose an analysis scheme of customer spending pattern using text mining. In proposed consumption pattern analysis scheme, first we analyze user's rating similarity using Pearson correlation, second we analyze user's review similarity using TF-IDF cosine similarity, third we analyze the consistency of the rating and review using Sendiwordnet. And we select the nearest neighbors using rating similarity and review similarity, and provide the recommended list that is proper with consumption pattern. The precision of recommended list are 0.79 for the Pearson correlation, 0.73 for the TF-IDF, and 0.82 for the proposed consumption pattern. That is, the proposed consumption pattern analysis scheme can more accurately analyze consumption pattern because it uses both quantitative rating and qualitative reviews of consumers.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze Korean game-related issues and policies to increase the effectiveness of related policies in the future and to increase the consistency of social norms of the policies. this study analyzes related issues by analyzing changes in Korean newspaper articles using spline function and text mining methods, and analyzes the contents of newspaper articles at the time of amplification of issues to present major issues and development directions. As a result of the analysis, game-related issues appeared in various topic, and there are not only support from the government and local governments but also coexisted with game-related regulations (taxation, gambling regulations, game addiction disease, and prevention of fee expansion). Despite regulations, the government presents preemptive responses to problems caused by the application of metabuses and NFTs to games, fostering game-related experts, start-up support, and supporting manpower departure as policy implications.

An On-Line Barcode Verification System using Image Processing Technique (이미지 처리기술을 이용한 온라인 바코드 품질검사 시스템)

  • Barcode labels are being widely used for identifying products since they are cheap and easy to use. As the barcode labels are massively produced by seal printing, some labels have defects such as poor printing quality or data mismatch between barcode and the text. Barcode read errors and business errors caused by defected barcodes result in delay in logistics and increased processing costs. In this paper, we propose an on-line barcode verification system that uses image processing technique to verify the quality of labels at the production stage. The proposed system captures label images through the vision camera and then checks the print quality and verifies the combination of barcodes and texts in a label. If any defected label is found, the proposed system gives alarm signals and marks the defected labels so that they are removed at early stage of the production.

  • Corporate Culture Marketing is a marketing tool that enhances a company's cultural image or conveys its image through culture. Culture Consumer value analysis is important predictive data in identifying the value and pursuit of life in individual consumption behavior, explaining the choice behavior of culture consumers, and serves as the basis for decision making. The research method was linked to the text mining and opinion mining techniques of big data, and extracted positive, negative and neutral words. The analysis targets culture consumers participating in concerts at Hyundai Card's 'Super Concert', which is subject to domestic consumers, and CJ ENM's 'KCON', which is subject to foreign consumers. The culture consumer value elements of corporate culture marketing are the basic conditions, and they were derived as 'Consensus Communication (Expression of Sensibility)', 'Participation Sharing(VIP Belonging)', 'Social Change Issue', 'Differentiating Services', 'Price Discount Benefit' and 'Location Quality'. In the future, we will need to foster 'Culture Technology Marketers' and apply them in areas such as arts management planning, cultural investment, cultural distribution, cultural space, Corporate Culture, CSR and K-pop marketing to enhance corporate interests and brand value and enhance brand value.
