The Implementation of an Advanced Taxi Movement Model in the ONE Simulator (ONE 시뮬레이터에서 향상된 택시 이동 모델 구현)

  • The ONE simulator has been used the tool for the DTN routing protocols. A movement model on DTN characteristic importantly affects to the simulation results of routing protocols. Especially, the WDM model provides the real similar situation such as commuting using vehicles, movements to a meeting point in office hours, activities after work, and etc. Our previous work proposed a taxi movement model in the WDM model. However, there is a difference between the real situations and the proposed model in finding a passenger. In this paper, we proposed an advanced taxi movement model with a taxi driver's locality and visibility range in order to configurate the real similar situation. And we analyze the difference between the previous model and the proposed model.

  • The working-day movement model, which implemented in the ONE simulator, supports the environments similar to the real life by using the transportation. However, there is no taxi movement model in the working-day movement model. So, we implemented a taxi movement model in the ONE simulator as the previous work. It is changed significantly for the simulation results of routing protocols in the ONE simulator. In this paper, we analyze the performance evaluation of the DTN routing protocol such as an epidemic routing protocol using our taxi movement model in the ONE simulator.

  • 한국 수어는 소리로 말을 배울 수 없어서 사용하는 '보이는 언어'이고 한국수화언어를 줄인 말이다. 한국어나 영어와 같이 독립된 언어로 한국어와는 문법 체계가 다른 대한민국 농인의 고유한 언어이다. 하지만, 한국 사회에서는 수어를 일상어로 사용하는 농인이 수어만으로 다른 사람과 대화하거나 서비스 등을 이용하기에는 쉽지 않은 구조이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 택시라는 상황을 가정해 택시 안에서 학습된 모델이 농인의 수어를 인식하고 택시 기사에게 해당 의미를 전달하는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 시스템을 통해 택시 기사는 농인(수어사용자)에게 응답할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 한국수어 번역기 웹서비스를 설계 및 구현하여 실제 환경에서의 활용 가능성을 검증한다.

A Study on Transfering Demands from Duribal to Taxi Using Ordered Logistic Model (순서형 로짓 모델을 이용한 두리발 이용자의 일반택시로의 수단전환에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, due to THE MOBILITY ENHANCEMENT FOR THE MOBILITY IMPAIRED ACT, local governments have tired to make various efforts on special transport services(STS), low-flow bus, and installing elevator in subway stations for handicapped people. But in case of STS, insufficient numbers of taxi are raised against the increasing demand of hadicapped people due to the limited budget. This study investigated actual use condition of STS and characteristics of selection of handicapped people on Duribal. In addition, an ordered-logistic model was employed for developing taxi use prediction model considering taxi fare discounts for diverting Duribal demands to taxies. The results can be a significant basic data for transportation policies to improve travel efficiency of the handicapped.

On Visualization of Trajectory Data for Traffic Flow Simulation of Urban-scale (도시 스케일의 교통 흐름 시뮬레이션을 위한 궤적 데이터 시각화)

  • As traffic volume increases and road networks become more complicated, identifying for accurate traffic flow and driving smooth traffic flow are a concern of many countries. There are various analytical techniques and studies which desire to study about effective traffic flow. However, the necessary activity is finding the traffic flow pattern through data visualization including location information. In this paper aim to study a real-world urban traffic trajectory and visualize a pattern of traffic flow with a simulation tool. Our experiment is installing the sensor module in 40 taxis and our dataset is generated along 24 hours and unscheduled routes. After pre-processing data, we improved an open source traffic visualize tools to suitable for our experiment. Then we simulate our vehicle trajectory data with a dots animation over a period of time, which allows clearly view a traffic flow simulation and a understand the direction of movement of the vehicle or route pattern. In addition we further propose some novel timelines to show spatial-temporal features to improve an urban environment due to the traffic flow.

Structural Study of Interface Layers in Tetragonal-HfO2/Si using Density Functional Theory (범 밀도함수론을 이용한 정방정계-HfO2/Si의 계면 층 구조 연구)

  • We calculated tetragonal-$HfO_2$/Si superstructures using density functional theory. When a and b-axes of cubic-$HfO_2$ were increased to be matched with those of Si for epitaxy contact, c-axis was decreased by 2%. Eight models of interface layers were produced by choosing different terminating layers of tetragonal-$HfO_2$ and Si substrate at the interface. It was found that tetragonal-$HfO_2$ $(004)_{1/4}$/Si $(004)_{3/4}$ superstructure was the most favorable and tetragonal-$HfO_2$ (004)$_{1/4}$/Si (002) superstructure was the most unfavorable. In tetragonal-$HfO_2$ $(004)_{1/4}$/Si (002) superstructure, there were two oxygen vacancies in tetragonal-$HfO_2$ as two oxygen atoms were moved to Si substrate located at the interface.
