  • 최근 자동차와 같이 움직이는 장치에 부착된 태양광 모듈에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 이동식 태양광모듈 장치는 건물이나 기타 수목 그림자에 수시로 노출되는바 그에 따른 효율감소가 발생한다. 이에 본 논문은 어떠한 환경에서도 Maximum Power를 빠른 속도로 찾아 효율감소를 저감하는 방안을 강구하고자 한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 일사량에 따른 태양광 모듈의 V I곡선에서 MPPT를 함에 V 인자와 I 인자로 구분하여 트래킹 타임 스텝을 가변 설정하여 기존의 방식보다 우수한 동특성을 갖는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 구조의 타당성과 우수성을 검증하였다.

  • 태양광 발전 시스템에서 태양광 모듈은 일사량과 온도에 따라 출력특성이 변하고 비선형적인 특성을 지니고 있다. 따라서 최대전력 출력을 얻기 위해서는 컨버터에 의한 최대 전력점 추종제어가 필요하다. 특히 발전시스템에서 요구하는 전기적 특성을 맞추기 위해 다수의 태양모듈을 직병렬로 연결하여 구성하는데 있어서 그림자 혹은 일부 모듈이 정상작동하지 않아 미스매치 손실이 발생하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 미스매치 손실을 극복하는 최대전력점을 추종하는 제어알고리즘을 설계하였고 이를 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • The amount of incident rays over inclination according to direction has been widely utilized as important data in installing solar thermal systems. To optimize the incident solar radiation, the slope, that is the angle between the plane surface in question and the horizontal, and the solar azimuth angles are needed for these solar thermal systems. This is because the performance of the solar thermal systems in much affected by angle and direction of incident rays. Recognizing that factors mentioned above are of importance, actual experiment on the moving route of the sun have been performed in this research to obtain the angle of inclination with which the maximum incident rays can be absorbed. After all, the standard for designing highly optimized solar thermal systems will be provided for designers and employees working in the solar collector related industries.

  • PV module power is calculated on PV module surface temperature adjustment by irradiation on the summer and autumn in NOCT(Nominal Operating Cell Temperature) conditions. The summer and autumn periods were selected because of large variation in outdoor air temperature and irradiation. This study was performed to understand relationship between PV module surface temperature and photovoltaic power using field measurement. As a results, it was determined that the amount of irradiation was proportional to the amount of photovoltaic power in the field measurement. However, it was also identified that the PV power generation decreased by increased PV module surface temperatures due to irradiation.

  • Since the solar radiation is main input for sizing any solar photovoltaic system and solar thermal power system, it will be necessary to understand and evaluate the insolation data. The Korea Institute of Energy Research(KIER) has begun collecting horizontal global insolation data since May, 1982 and direct normal insolation data since December 1992 at 16 different locations. Because of a poor reliability of existing data, KIER's new data will be extensively used by solar energy system users as well as by research institutes. Among some significant results, the yearly averaged horizontal global insolation was turned out 3.60 kWh/$m^2$/day and the yearly mean 2.62 kWh/$m^2$/day of the direct normal insolation was evaluated for all days.

  • 기존의 태양광 시스템은 일사량이 존재할 경우 즉 태양이 있을경우에만 동작하는 낮은 활용도를 가진다. 본 논문에서는 태양광에서 발전되는 불규칙적인 에너지를 효과적으로 사용하기 위해 BESS 시스템을 결합하여 태양광 시스템의 활용도를 높이며, 계통의 전원의 안정화를 위하여 Active Power Filter기능을 수행한다. 논문에서는 이를 구현하고 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • The verified thermal efficiency, thermal capacity confirmed the effects of the cooling system. Therefore, it is useful for preventing the PV cell temperature rising when solar radiation accumulates in summer. When adopting a hybrid panel for the BIPV system, the affected areas include the vertical outside walls facing the south, southeast, and southwest on the curtain walls excluding windows. The standards on replace aluminum panel which were the popular exterior material were investigated, Designing practice made sure that it could be manufactured in various sizes, and confirmed the most proper method to install a hybrid panel in the BIPV system.

  • The model to calculate the solar radiation at the surface was developed and the annual global solar radiation calculated by the model was compared with the KMA(Korea Meteorological Administration) surface measured data The difference between calculated and measured values was distinguished clearly because of the calibration problem of the pyranometer, but the global distribution of solar radiation calculated by the model was very similar to NREL(National Renewable Energy Laboratory) result of USA.

  • In this study, we designed a digital fuzzy logic controller based on FPGA and microprocessor for MPPT of the solar power generation system. A fuzzy algorithm to control the power tracking function of a boost converter has been built into the FPGA, and applied to the small scaled solar power generation system. The embodied controller showed a stable operation characteristic with the small output voltage ripple for the intensity change of solar radiation. This result proves that the implementation of the power tracking controller using FPGA is an effective way compared to the existing one using microprocessors.

  • 본 논문은 당사에서 개발한 250kW 태양광 인버터의 실증운전에 관한 내용이다. R&D 단계에서의 제품 시험은 실 사용 환경에서 발생하는 이상 동작 원인을 검증할 수 없다. 또한, 주위환경(온도, 일사량 등)에 따라 발전량이 수시로 변동하므로 고품질의 전력을 생산하기 어렵다. 따라서, 태양광 인버터와 같이 주위 환경에 영향을 많이 받는 제품은 제품 출시 전 실제 사용 환경을 고려한 대책 설계/제어가 필수이다. 당사에서는 개발 제품의 신뢰성을 확인하고자 태양광 인버터를 실 사용 환경에 적용하여 장기 연속 운전하고 있으며, 실증운전을 통해 수집된 결과를 비교/분석하여 제품 개발에 활용하고 있다.
