기관의 저연비화는 비단 경제적인 면뿐 아니라 환경 등 사회적인 면에서 보았을때에도 차량이 갖추어야 할 필수적인 요건이라 할 수 있다. 지금의 추세로는 차량에 희박연소기관을 탑재하는 것은 앞으로 더욱 증가될 것으로 예측된다. 이 저연비에 효과적으로 대응될 수 있는 희박연소는 일반적인 3원촉매를 사용할 경우 지금까지는 배기량 2l를 넘는 대배기량기관에서는 실용화가 어려운 것으로 되어 있어서 희박연소기관 대부분은 1.8l급까지로 되어 있다. 그런데 최근 일본의 미쓰미시사는 별개의 희박연소용 촉매를 사용하지 않으면서 2.5l급의 희박연소화한 대배기량기관을 차량에 탑재하는데 성공한 것으로 발표하고 있다. 더구나 지금까지 대부분의 희박연소기관에 채용되고 있는 전역 공연비센서가 아닌 보통의 $O_{2}$센서이고 이와 같이 큰 배기량기관의 희박연소화를 실현한 것을 세계에서 최초의 것으로 보고하고 있다.

비행기 속, 열차의 속 어디에서나 사무실이나 가정과 연락을 취할 수 있는 다중체통신, 위성통신은 현재, 전화, TV의 전송, 전용선 등에 폭넓게 이용되고 있다. 최근까지 정지위성 궤도상에 떠있는 트란스폰도(transponder=transmitter+responder<송신기+응답기>) 즉, 위성 탑재 중단기의 수는 INTELSAT를 포함해서 합계 약 4,100으로 되어 있다(과거의 공산권을 포함해서). 발사로켓의 대형화, 통신위성의 대형화에 의해 위성회선의 비용은 현저히 저하되어 있으며, 위성통신의 이용은 확대일로에 있다. 위성통신은 광화이버통신, 지상마이크로파통신과 나란하는 통신네트워크의 주요한 구성요소이다. 대양횡단의 통신은 위성통신이 그 특징을 충분히 발휘하여 왔고, 해저광케이블과의 사이에서 부설자끼리 장단점을 놓고 비교를 하고 있으나, 위성통신은 넓은 지역으로부터의 통신을 수 하는 기능 또는 동일한 신호를 넓은 지역에 탑재하는 지구국에서 동시에 수신할 수 있는 기능을 갖고 있는 이외에도, 원양어선에로의 통신같이, 지상의 통신방식으로는 제공이 곤란한 서비스가 가능하다는 등의 특징이 있으며, 금후의 통신 네트워크의 구성요소로서 더 한층 그 필요성이 증가해 갈 것이라 본다.

Thermal analysis and prediction of electronic components is required to predict and optimize the reliability of onboard electronic unit employed in space vehicles. This paper introduces a methodology on thermal prediction that uses isothermal PCB model, thermal force model, thermal resistance matrix and superposition principle to calculate electronic devices temperatures undergoing thermal conduction environment. An example is Presented including a prediction result by this method and simulation results performed by commercial program.

은행에서 현금 지급기(ATM)를 부정한 목적으로 사용하는 사람들은 보통 마스크나 선글라스, 모자 같은 것으로 얼굴을 은폐하고 인출을 하는 경우가 많다. 그렇기 때문에 마스크나 선글라스, 모자로 얼굴을 가림으로써 특징을 검출하기 쉽지 않아 얼굴 인식을 통한 사람 판단이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 차 영상과 Template Matching 을 통해 얼굴 영역을 추출하고 Adaptive Boost 를 통해 얼굴의 특징 점을 검출한 후 스킨 컬러 정보를 이용하여 현재 사람의 은폐 정보를 추정하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방영은 영상신호처리에 강하고 비용이 적으며 적은 전력으로 동작하는 DSP 기반에 탑재 함으로써 ATM 기에 탑재하기 적합하고 또한 다른 형태의 검증 시스템에 적용할 수 있는 효율적인 구조를 제시한다.

Hypersonic analysis on the KSR-Ⅲ payload configuration has been performed using an axisymmetric Navier-Stokes code. A numerical code based on the Harten and Yee's upwind TVD scheme with simplified curve fits in the chemically reacting equilibrium air was developed. The carbuncle phenomenon on detached shock in front of the payload is controlled by using pressure gradients to tune the dissipation. Chemically reacting equilibrium computations for the reentry flight conditions of Mach No. 10.2, 8, 4.9 are presented and compared with the results of calorically perfect gas.

A preliminary thermal analysis is performed for the optical payload system of a geostationary satellite. The optical payload considered in this paper is GOCI(Geostationary Ocean Color Imager) of COMS of Korea. The radiative and conductive thermal models are employed in order to predict thermal responses of the GOCI on the geostationary orbit. The results of this analysis are as follows: 1) the GOCI instrument thermal control is satisfactory to provide the temperatures for the GOCI performances, 2) the thermal control is defined and interfaces are validated, and 3) the entrance baffle temperature and shutter wheel motor gradient are found slightly out their specification, therefore further detailed analyses should be continued on these elements.

최근 각종 정보통신 서비스를 제공하기 위한 소프트웨어는 정보보호 기술의 핵심요소인 암호화 모듈을 탑재하고 있다. 여기서 암호화 모듈은 사용자 인증, 콘텐츠-보호, 프라이버스 보호 등의 여러 가지 정보보호 기능을 구현하기 위한 핵심 모듈이다. 그러나 악의적인 공격자에게 암호화 모듈을 사용하는 소프트웨어는 기밀한 정보를 다룬다는 점에서 공격의 대상이 될 수 있다. 또한 사람이 제작하는 소프트웨어는 크기가 커질수록 복잡해질수록 위협 요소는 증가하기 마련이다.[1] 이에 본 논문에서는 암호화 모듈이 탑재된 소프트웨어가 역공학 분석측면에서 악의적인 공격자에게 어떠한 위협 요소를 노출할 수 있는지를 살펴보고 이러한 역공학 분석 공격으로부터 보호하기 위해 소프트웨어 제작에서 고려해야 할 사항을 제시한다.

Airplane fuel takes large portion of airline operation cost and recently it has been grown up to about 25% of operating cost. So airlines are making efforts to reduce fuel consumption continuously and also aircraft manufacturers are making efforts to develop less fuel-consuming engines but it takes great expenses and times to develop such engines. In this study, fuel requirements of FAR and JAR, especially contingency fuel requirements, are compared and the effectiveness of each method is analyzed.

· 21세기 도고 정보화 사회에서의 위성통신은 현존 위성 시스템에서 주로 제공하는 국가간 장 거리 전화, 방송 중계 서비스 등을 포함한 광범위한 대용량 디지털 멀티미디어 서비스 형태 의 트래픽을 처리하여 재분배하는 고성능, 다기능 정보통신으로 발전하고 있다. 이에 따라 전세계적으로 위성 수의 증가에 따른 위성궤도 부족과 주파수 자원의 고갈 등의 문제점을 야기시키게 되었다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 기존의 단순 중계기의 역할뿐만 아니라, 위성탑 재 IF/RF 스위칭 기술, 기저대역 신호처리 기술, 다중 빔 안테나 기술 등을 포함한 OBP 탑 재 위성 시스템이 필요하게 된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기본적으로 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하고 주파수 재사용 기법을 적용한 다중 스폿 빔을 송수신하는 차세대 OBP 탑재 위성 B-ISDN 중계망 접속 방식을 설계하고, 설계된 위성 B-ISDN 중계망 다중 접속 방식의 성 능을 평가하였다.

And we presents the variety experiment and analysis results using the implemented technique.
