  • This paper presented the application of GAs as a means of finding optimal solutions over a parameter space in the controller design for a fuzzy control system. The performance can involve a weighted combination of various performance characteristics such as rise-time, settling-time, settling-time, overshoot. The results obtained here are compared with those for a traditional design obtained using the root-locus method. In contrast to traditional methods, the GA-based method does not require the usual mathematical processess or mathematical model of the system. In this paper, the Ga-based Fuzzy control system combining Fuzzy control theory with the GA, that is known to be very effective in the optimization problem, will be proposed The effectiveness of the proposed control system will be demonstrated by computer simulations using task tracking position system in stable and unstable linear systems. It is shown that the GA-based controller is better than the traditional controller used It stable and unstable linear systems.

  • In this paper, we propose a generating method for the optimal rules for the nonlinear control system using evolution algorithms and fuzzy controller. With the aid of evolution algorithms optimal rules of fuzzy logic system can be automatic designed without human expert's priori experience and. knowledge. and ran be intelligent control. The approachpresented here generating rules by self-tuning the parameters of membership functions and searchs the optimal control rules based on a fitness value which Is tile defined performance criterion. Computer simulations demonstrates the usefulness of the proposed method In non -linear systems.

An Optimal Design of Neuro-Fuzzy Logic Controller Using Lamarckian Co-adaptation of Learning and Evolution (학습과 진화의 Lamarckian 상호 적응에 의한 뉴로-퍼지 제어기의 최적 설계)

  • This paper proposes a new design method of neuro-FLC by the Lamarckian co-adaptation scheme that incorporates the backpropagation learning into the GA evolution in an attempt to find optimal design parameters (fuzzy rule base and membership functions) of application-specific FLC. The design parameters are determined by evolution and learning in a way that the evolution performs the global search and makes inter-FLC parameter adjustments in order to obtain both the optimal rule base having high covering value and small number of useful fuzzy rules and the optimal membership functions having small approximation error and good control performance while the learning performs the local search and makes intra-FLC parameter adjustments by interacting each FLC with its environment. The proposed co-adaptive design method produces better approximation ability because it includes the backpropagation learning in every generation of GA evolution, shows better control performance because the used COG defuzzifier computes the crisp value accurately, and requires small workspace because the optimization procedure of fuzzy rule base and membership functions is performed concurrently by an integrated fitness function on the same fuzzy partition. Simulation results show that the Lamarckian co-adapted FLC produces the most superior one among the differently generated FLCs in all aspects such as the number of fuzzy rules, the approximation ability, and the control performance.

  • 본 논문에서는 주어진 입출력 데이터로부터 유전자 알고리즘을 이용하여 퍼지제어 기를 자동 생성하는 방법에 대하여 기술한다. 주어진 입출력 데이터를 표현하는 퍼지제어기 는 각 유전자에 암호화되고, 퍼지제어기를 표현하는 각 유전자들은 서로 정보를 교환함으로 써 주어진 데이터를 적절히 표현하는 퍼지제어기를 탐색하게 된다. 유전자는 각 입력 변수 의 언어항을 정의하고, 퍼지제어규칙은 정의된 언어항과 주어진 데이터로부터 생성된다. 탐 색과정에서 퍼지제어기의 제어규칙과 각 입력변수의 언어항의 개수와 위치는 계속 변화하여 주어진 입출력 데이터를 잘 설명하는 퍼지제어기를 찾는다.

  • 본 논문에서는 퍼지 제어기의 설계를 위한 다중 돌연변이 연산자를 갖는 Niche Meta 유전 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘에서 유전자는 유전 알고리즘에 사용되는 교배율이나 돌연변이율과 같은 구조 매개변수와 퍼지 제어기의 입, 출력 소속함수를 나타내는 매개변수로 구성된다. 제안된 알고리즘은 부개체군들에 대해 퍼지 제어기의 소속함수의 매개변수를 최적화시키는 지역적 탐색을 수행하면서 전체 개체군에 대해서 최적의 구조 매개변수에 대한 전역적인 탐색을 수행한다. 다중 돌연변이 연산자는 지역적 진화의 결과에 따라 진화에 가장 적합한 돌연변이 방법으로 선택된다. 제안된 알고리즘의 효율성을 입증하기 위해 2 자유도를 구륜이동 로봇에 대한 모의 실험을 수행한다.

  • 최근, 정보 보호의 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 현재 웹 데이터 교환의 표준인 XML 데이터에 대한 보안과 접근 제어 기법이 주요 연구로 부상하고 있으며 연구의 초점은 안전함을 보장하면서, 동시에 부가적인 비용 증가를 줄이는데 있다. 그렇지만 이러한 연구의 방식에서는 인덱스를 고려하지 않기 때문에 불필요한 탐색은 물론 데이터 증가에 따른 탐색 비용이 증가한다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 XPath의 원리를 기반으로 인덱스와 접근제어를 동시에 고려하는 인덱스 기반의 접근 제어 맵을 제안하고, 이 기법을 관계형 데이터베이스에 적용하여 구현하였다.

  • The field based morphing requires the user to set most of the control lines manually which requires much time and skill to get satisfactory results. This thesis proposes a method to acquire semi-automation of image morphing through first acquiring shape information from the source image and the target image, then after the user manually designates the least amount of a pair of feature points, these are used as standards for polygon based vertex search to set the appropriate control line to the source mage and target image, and then using the ratio of control line lengths and space. Using the proposed method, the user can reduce the time setting the control line and unskilled persons can get natural image morphing results while designating the least amount control line.

Reservoir Operation by Tabu Search Method during Flood (타부탐색기법에 의한 홍수시 저수지 운영에 관한 연구)

  • This study applied the fuzzy logic control for the construction of the reservoir operation model which can consider uncertainty of the predicted inflow in determining reservoir release during flood period. The control rule is usually constructed based on the opinion of experts which is a general technique. To improve the drawback of general technique, this study constructed the Fuzzy-Tabu search model automatically established by the fuzzy rule using Tabu search which is a global optimization technique. As the results, the peak release is decreased and the flood control efficiency is improved. The total release is also decreased and this represents the benefit in water use. Consequently, it is confirmed that the effect of flood control can be increased through the constructed model. It also shows that the available water resources after the flood is more increased. So, the proposed Fuzzy-Tabu search model could be better than the actual reservoir operation methodology in the aspect of water use.

  • In this paper, the terminal homing loop with a IIR-type strapdown seeker and a roll rate gyroscope is proposed. Basically, the proposed homing loop is based on the look-angle-control guidance. Since the range of the seeker is strictly limited, the missile is delivered to a point to lock the target on the seeker via non-guided flight during the midcourse guidance. The non-standard firing table is developed to compensate the wind and the target movement. To secure the delay margin is very important to prevent the instability of the homing loop when the time delay of the seeker is included. To validate the proposed homing loop, the 6-DOF nonlinear simulation is performed, and the Monte-Carlo simulation is also done for checking the robustness for the various kinds of uncertainty.

  • We propose a modified version of 'a Lazy Version of Eppstein's k shortest paths Algorithm(LVEA)' which can find the k shortest paths in total time O(m+ n log n+ K log K) in the worst-case. The algorithm we propose, since the Link repeated paths are all eliminated when enumerating k shortest paths, is No link repeated paths algorithm that is suitable in a transportation network.
