The optimal path on real road network has been changed by traffic flow of roads frequently. Therefore a path finding system to find the optimal path on real network should consider traffic flow of roads that is changed on real time. The most of existing path finding methods do not consider traffic flow of roads and do not also perform efficiently if they use traffic information. In this paper, we propose an abstraction method of real road network based on the Terminal Based Navigation System (TBNS) with technique such as TPEG. TBNS can be able to provides quality of path better than before as using traffic information that is transferred by TPEG. The proposed method is to abstract real network as simple graph in order to use traffic information. It is composed boundary nodes based on real nodes, all boundary nodes that have the same of connection are merged together. The result of path finding on an abstract graph diminishes the search space.

온톨로지에 대한 연구가 활발해지면서, 온톨로지를 실제 응용하고자 하는 사용자들의 요구가 커지게 되었다. 그렇지만 온톨로지의 응용을 위해서는 구축된 온톨로지를 효율적으로 다루고, 평가할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 기존 온톨로지 질의 언어들의 한계점 중 구문 작성시 복잡성을 해결하기 위해 단순한 텍스트 기반의 질의 처리 인터페이스를 구현하여 온톨로지 사용의 범용성을 높이고, 사용자는 쉬운 질의 처리 환경에서 온톨로지에 대한 평가를 용이하게 수행함으로써, 온톨로지의 높은 활용성 또한 기대할 수 있다. 결론적으로, 본 연구의 온톨로지 질의 처리의 용이성과 트리플 사실 기반의 추론을 통하여 사용자는 온톨로지 구축의 완전성 및 응용 가능성을 쉽게 평가할 수 있다.

효율적인 이미지 검색을 위해 고차원 데이터 색인에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 거리 기반 색인 구조는 다차원 데이터를 색인하는데 자주 활용되는데, k-최근접 질의 처리에서 초기 탐색 범위를 전체 영역의 1%만으로 결정한다. 본 논문에서는 거리 기반 색인구조에서 k-최근접 질의를 효율적으로 처리하기 위해 데이터 분포 기반의 최적화 및 질의 처리 비용 기반 최적화 기법을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effects of teachers'personal background (academic, education career) and institutional characteristic factors(founded facility type, class size, and curriculum organization type) on the quality of the classroom in early childhood education and care(ECEC) fields. This study is to explore the conditions for improving the quality of ECEC, looking back on a traditional paradigm focused on teacher education and qualifications. The hierarchical regression analysis was conducted through a survey as a research method. The results indicated that the effects of institutional characteristics were more influential than teachers' education on classroom quality. Public kindergartens and child care centers were reported to have higher effects than the private ones on classroom quality. Based on these results, policy implications and future research plans were suggested in perspective of improving the publicness of ECEC services.

This study examines the effect of previous work experience on the long-lived venture firm called 'Good Quality startup'. The research explores entrepreneurs of 16 mobile application startups that were invested by the venture capital, 'K-ventures', through the resource-based view. The results show that all of entrepreneurs had previous experiences of their business domain. They accumulated human resources such as technology capabilities, knowledge of domain, know-how, networking through learning-by-doing. Entrepreneur's human resources are the key factors for opportunity recognition and realisation process; and it is also on the ground that venture capital determines investment. Venture capital provides financial resources, management support and strong network for venture firm. Technology resources, financial resources, know-how and networking are the core managerial resources to be a long-lived venture firm called 'Good Quality Startup'. This research is an exploratory case study based on previous experience and 'good quality entrepreneurship'. The empirical study hereafter is needed.

The unit commitment problem in a power system involves determining the start-up and shut-down schedules of many dynamos for a day or a week while satisfying the power demands and diverse constraints of the individual units in the system. It is very difficult to derive an economically optimal schedule due to its huge search space when the number of dynamos involved is large. Tabu search is a popular solution method used for various optimization problems because it is equipped with effective means of searching beyond local optima and also it can naturally incorporate and exploit domain knowledge specific to the target problem. When given a large-scaled problem with a number of complicated constraints, however, tabu search cannot easily find a good solution within a reasonable time. This paper shows that a large- scaled optimization problem such as the unit commitment problem can be solved efficiently by using a parallel tabu search. The parallel tabu search not only reduces the search time significantly but also finds a solution of better quality.

Video compression is essential technique for fast and efficient transmission of a large amount of video data maintaining high quality. Also, motion estimation and motion compensation is most important technique for efficient video compression. A proposed method is improved diamond search method which uses split diamond pattern and rotated diamond pattern. In particular, the proposed method shows superb result when it is used for the sequence with a direction of camera moving. Moreover when it is used for the sequence with little motion, complexity is reduced considerably by using fewer search points. Also, by varying the number of initial search points, the propose method can provide several options in terms of duality or speed. Simulation results shows that the proposed method sustains better visual quality compared with diamond search method and HEXBS even by using fewer search points. Besides, compared with existing methods, it is able to conduct a motion estimation more efficiently by changing the number of search points adaptively according to motion of video data.

When a user visits a specific site through various devices, the hero image located in the main area that can be viewed without scrolling includes multiple slides and has various carousel navigation patterns. While there is a negative perception that the carousel design does not receive the user's choice due to the hidden slide, it can be seen that its usefulness can vary depending on the user's context. In addition, the navigation pattern of the carousel design is the factor that has the greatest influence on the user experience. The left and right arrow navigation pattern, the bottom pagination navigation pattern, the accordion type navigation pattern, the thumbnail type navigation pattern, the divided slide type navigation pattern, and the last. It could be divided into six types of left and right slide navigation patterns.

운동치료는 환자가 자기 자신의 치료에 직접 참여한다는 측면에서 다른 수동적인 치료보다 더 효과적이라고 생각된다. 이 논문의 목적은 관련문헌을 찾아내어 경추의 장애를 치료하는데 운동치료가 효과적이라는 것을 입증하는 증거를 찾아내기 위한 것이다. 경추 장애를 치료하기 위한 여러 가지 형태의 운동치료를 포함하는 연구를 찾아내기 위하여 7가지의 컴퓨터 문헌탐색을 수행하였고 출판된 전문을 아들레이드 내에서 구할 수 있는 것만 검토하였다. 문헌 평가도구를 사용하여 연구의 질을 평가하였고 그 결과를 표로 제시하였다. 111개의 문헌 중 34개가 포함 기준에 합당하였으며 이 중 18개의 임상실험연구를 수집하여 운동치료의 효과를 조사하기 위하여 그 질을 분석하였다. 임상실험연구의 전체적인 질은 "우수"였다. 도수치료와 운동치료를 병행하여 치료를 실시한 5개의 "탁웰"한 질의 임상실험연구에서 근력의 증가와 통증의 감소를 보였다. 3개의 임상연구에서 근력강화운동이 증상의 경감에 효과가 있다고 하였다. 2개의 "우수"와 "중등도"의 질의 문헌에서 집단운동이 개별적인 물리치료만큼 효과가 있다고 하였다. 고유수용성 운동과 다른 형태의 운동 또한 경추의 장애의 치료에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 글의 소견은 경추 장애의 치료에 운동이 효과적이라는 이전의 연구결과를 지지한다. 또한 경추 장애의 치료에 다른 형태의 운동의 상대적인 효과를 확인하기 위한 훌륭한 질의 연구가 더 행해질 필요가 있다고 본다.

This paper presents a query processing model in a wrapper based on the XML view tree. The query processing in a wrapper requires view composition, query translation into local sources, and generation of XML documents from local query results. We present a query processing model based on the view tree, where the XML views and the XML query is represented by the view tree. Since the view tree keeps the structure of a virtual XML document, it is easy to navigate the path expression. The view tree is also used as a template for schema generation and XML document generation as a query result. Moreover this conceptual uniform abstraction for the XML view and the user query makes it easy to support a multi-level XML view and to implement our composition mechanism.
