Analytical Behavior of Concrete Derailment Containment Provision(DCP) according to Train Impact Loading (열차 충돌하중에 대한 콘크리트 일탈방호시설물(DCP)의 해석적 거동 검토)

  • In recent years, numerous train derailment accidents caused by deterioration and high speed technology of railways have increased. Guardrails or barriers of railway bridges are installed to restrain and prevent the derailment of the train body level. On the other hand, it can result in a high casualties and secondary damage. Therefore, a Derailment Containment Provision (DCP) within the track at the wheel/bogie level was developed. DCP is designed for rapid installation because it reduces the impact load on the barrier and inertia force on the steep curve to minimize turnover, fall, and trespass on the other side track of the bridge. In this paper, DCP was analyzed using LS-Dyna with a parameter study as the impact loading location and interface contact condition. The contact conditions were analyzed using the Tiebreak contact simulating breakage of material properties and Perfect bond contact assuming fully attached. As a result, the Tiebreak contact behaved similarly with the actual behavior. In addition, the maximum displacement and flexural failure was generated on the interface and DCP center, respectively. The impact analysis was carried out in advance to confirm the DCP design due to the difficulties of performing the actual impact test, and it could change the DCP anchor design as the analysis results.

  • Since a derailment of rolling stocks results in huge losses in properties and lives, the measurement of a derailment coefficient is a very important test item to estimate the running safety of rolling stocks. For a measurement of the derailment measurement of forces between the wheel and rail a measuring wheel-set should be made first. The process to make a measuring wheel-set has some stages for correct measurement. They are as follows; a finite element analysis of a wheel to find a position of holes at which vertical force shall be measured, a finite element analysis for the position of strain gauges.

  • This study presents a method to evaluate overturning safety and derailment safety of korean tilting train using kinematic analysis of four-bar linkage tilting mechanism. The safety is evaluated considering tilting vehicle body CG displacement. The design sensitivity for stable and safe maximum speed is evaluated around current korean tilting train design data. The current design shows minimum center of gravity displacement. Higher speed can be achieved with larger center of gravity displacement.

The Sensitivity Analysis of Derailment in Suspension Elements of Rail Vehicle (철도차량 현수장치의 탈선에 대한 민감도 연구)

  • This paper is the result of sensitivity analysis of derailment with respect to the selected suspension elements for the rail vehicle. Derailment phenominon has been explained by the derailment quotient. Thus, the sensitivity of derailment is suggested by a response surface model(RSM) which is a functional relationship between derailment quotient and characteristics of suspension elements. To summarize generation of RSM, we can introduce the procedure of sensitivity analysis as follows. First, to form a RSM, a experiment is performed by a dynamic analysis code, VAMPIRE according to a kind of the design of experiments(DOE). Second, RSM is constructed to a 1$\^$st/ order polynomial and then main effect fators are screened through the stepwise regression. Finally, we can see the sensitivity level through the RSM which only consists of the main effect factors and is expressed by the liner, interaction and quadratic effect terms.

A Study of Dynamic Characteristic of the Leaf Spring for Freight Wagon After the Derailment (탈선 후 화물열차의 겹판스프링 동적특성 연구)

  • Particularly derailing freight wagon, which are loaded with dangerous chemicals, has large damages on humans and environment. In this paper the dynamic characteristic of the laminated leaf spring under extreme situation, for example derailment, is examined. The leaf spring has a static hysteresis. Not only the friction value, but also the spring rate are influenced by this hysteresis characteristic. Because of the static hysteresis of the leaf spring the spring rate must be used in normal operation depending upon the loading and the kind of the excitation with the up to 10-fold value of the static spring rate. Some characteristics of the leaf spring can be treated like well-known viscous damping, but fer special situation (preload and/or excitation) particular calculation are necessary.

  • 본 논문에서는 인터넷 채팅 사이트를 통한 채팅시 부분별하게 사용되는 채팅 용어에 대한 문제 해결 방안 제시 그리고 부도덕한 만남과 탈선의 원인을 제공하는 각종 단어와 메뉴 분석을 통해 이를 기술적으로 차단키 위한 방법론을 개발하기에 앞선 첫째 단계 연구로 인터넷 채팅 사이트에 대한 그 사용 실태 분석을 행하고자 한다. 이를 위해 우선적으로 IRC에서 시작된 채팅의 에 대해 사용하고 있는 채팅 용어에 대해 알아보고 심각한 채팅의 역기능 실태에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 인터넷 채팅사이트에서 제공하는 각종 메뉴에 대한 문제점 실태 파악, 접속 시간에 따른 탈선의 예에 대한 분석등을 행하고자 한다. 이를 통해 향후 역기능이 되고 있는 인터넷 채팅에 대한 기술적, 정책적 해결 방안 마련에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다.

An Evaluation on Derailment according to Running Safety of Next-Generation High Speed Train (HEMU-430X) (차세대 고속열차(HEMU-430X)의 주행 안전에 따른 탈선평가)

  • With the cooperation of many research institutes and railway companies, the next generation high speed train is under development for many years. To confirm the safety requirement of the developed high speed train, multibody dynamic analysis is implemented. Through this analysis, railway derailment and lateral guiding force simulation was evaluated according to UIC code 518 OR for international railway vehicle. Test results were compared by limit value of safety criteria. Safety evaluation results, according to international standards, would provide basic reference data of ensuring safety speed and track radius curve. The safety of the train at the maximum speed is verified by numerical analysis results.
