This article explores the causes of why there are many international exchange festivals and events regarding South Korea in Kyushu, Japan. It can be explained as follows. Firstly, Kyushu is the closest region to South Korea and there are many transport links between the two places. Secondly, Kyushu has many rich historical sites relating to Korea which would be ideal themes for international exchange festivals and events. Thirdly, Kyushu has the highest number of sister city connection with South Korea in Japan. This means that it is easy to hold international exchange festivals and events with the sister city. Tsushima city in Nagasaki prefecture is thought to best encompass all of the above criteria. Therefore, it would seem that Tsushima city is especially eager to hold international exchange festivals and events with South Korea as a means of meeting the regional development strategy.

구마모토현은 일본 큐슈지방의 좌측 중앙부에 위치하며, 우측은 남북으로 이어지는 큐슈산맥을 경계로 하고 좌측은 유명해에 접하고 있으며, 면적은 $7,404\textrm{km}^2$ 이고 2000년말 현재 인구는 1,865천명이다. 구마모토지역은 구마모토현에서 지하수자원 관리를 위하여 $1,042.2\textrm{km}^2$ 의 면적에 설정한 구역으로 구마모토현의 중서부 지역에 있으며 16개 시정촌(2개 시, 12개 정, 2개 촌)으로 구성되어 있으며, 구마모토시가 가장 넓은 $226.2\textrm{km}^2$을 차지하고 있다(그림 1).(중략)

필자는 지난 8월 21일부터 25일까지 2017년 농업인 국외훈련과정으로 6차 산업 정책과정 연수차 일본을 다녀오면서 큐슈지역의 후쿠오카 현, 오이타 현, 구마모토 현을 방문한 내용을 본지를 통해 소개한다.

장기유출해석에서 유출률은 강수량에 대한 유출량의 비로 정의되며 이를 이해하는 것은 물순환 평가와 수자원 관리에 매우 중요하다. 이 연구에서는 물수지 방정식으로부터 유출률(C)을 강수량(P)과 증발산량(E)의 함수로 나타내보고 이를 검증하기 위해 우리나라와 일본 큐슈의 총 14개 유역에 적용해 보았다. 모든 유역에서 강수량과 유출량이 증발산에 비해 크게 변동하였으며 강수량과 유출량은 높은 상관관계를 나타냈다. 유출률은 강수량과 비례하지만, 강수량이 커질수록 강수량의 변화에 대한 유출률의 변화가 작게 나타났다. 큐슈보다 연강수량이 적은 우리나라의 경우 강수량의 변화에 따른 유출률의 변화가 크기 때문에 수자원 관리에 어려움이 예상된다. 한편, 증발산량은 흔히 이해되는 바와 같이 연평균기온이 높은 유역에서 대체로 크게 나타났으며 우리나라보다 큐슈에서 증발산량이 기온의 변화에 더 민감하게 변화한다.

This study has the goal of analyzing the techniques and characteristics of urban development, after additionally constructing the high-speed railway in Japan's Kyushu district and building a new railway station to enable the existing traditional stations accommodate with the high-speed railway. Such analysis is made in order to draw the conclusion of its intended (designed) meaning and attributes and to further research on finding an applicable urban development method in the domestic railway station development. The object of this study includes examples of stations renewed within the five years when Shinkansen in the Kyushu district was extended or stations which are in process of development such as Hakata station, Kumamoto station, and Kagoshima-chuo station. From the analysis of this study, the strategies are as follows.; active connecting both geographical location and function of Station, re-establishment of relation with city center and Station, establishment of close linking system for both tourist spot development, methods of Shinkansen line construction and extension a development opposite site of railway, securing the living population from high density & Mixed use development of Station Building.

It's getting popularized to collect information connecting web sites with massive information through the internet and advanced search engines. Users can handle digital materials like E-book wherever the internet is available and they will demand digital information increasingly. This study analyzes literature investigation, statistics analyses of the attached library of Kyushu University, drawings and field investigation to suggest a new model of a library which handles traditional paper-formed materials and digital-formed materials at one place with growing importance of digital materials. It results that a library performs a important role like a learning space and functions as a sociocultural communication space. Also it shows that it is required to basically reinvestigate the role of 'space' in the library with a great importance of digital materials. In the hybrid library combined with subjects and reorganized at one place, One-stop services like library materials and manpower can be provided for users staying at the same area.
