Effect of Perceived Value on Customer's Repurchase Intention in a Coffee Chain Context: Focused on Utilitarian, Hedonic, and Social Value (커피 전문점의 인지된 가치가 재구매 의도에 미치는 영향: 실용적, 유희적, 사회적 가치를 중심으로)

  • This study examined customer's purchase decision-making processes in a coffee chain context. We posit customer satisfaction, brand image, and perceive value as key drivers of forming customer's repurchase intention. From the perspective of multidimensional perceived value concept, the effects of utilitarian, hedonic, and social value on customer's decision-making processes were investigated. The proposed model was empirically tested by using survey data collected from 232 university students who often visit several coffee chains. LISREL has been used to perform these analysis. The proposed theoretical model accounts for 67% of the variance in repurchase intention and 73% of the variance in customer satisfaction. The analysis results indicate that customer satisfaction and brand image play an important role in forming customer's repurchase intention. Further, utilitarian and hedonic values significantly affect customer's repurchase intention, whereas social value negatively influences it.

  • Along with the advent of ubiquitous computing environment, it is becoming a part of our common life style that the demands for enjoying the wireless internet using intelligent portable device such as smart phone and iPad, are increasing anytime or anyplace without any restriction of time and place. The recommending service becomes a very important technology which can find exact information to present users, then is easy for customers to reduce their searching effort to find out the items with high purchasability in e-commerce. Traditional mining association rule ignores the difference among the transactions. In order to do that, it is considered the importance of type of merchandise or service and then, we suggest a new recommending service using mining sequential pattern based on weight to reflect frequently changing trends of purchase pattern as time goes by and as often as customers need different merchandises on e-commerce being extremely diverse. To verify improved better performance of proposing system than the previous systems, we carry out the experiments in the same dataset collected in a cosmetic internet shopping mall.

  • The purpose of this study is to focus on the effects of different channel types of Word-of-Mouth on the product attitude. Additionally, the product involvement and gender are considered as moderating variables. The results of this study show that different word-of-mouth channel types have different effects on the product attitude, that is, off-line has more influence than on-line does. Also the product involvement moderates the relationship between the channel types of word-of-mouth and the product attitude, while the gender does not. The results imply that while building the word-of-mouth marketing strategy, companies should not only pay attention to the on-line media channel, but lay importance on the off-line communication channel.

  • As online shopping malls continue to grow in popularity, various chances of consumption are provided to customers. Customers decide the purchase by exploiting information provided by shopping malls such as the reviews of actual purchasing users, the detailed information of items, and so on. It is required to provide objective and reliable information because customers have to decide on their own whether the massive information is credible. In this paper, we propose a personalized recommendation method considering an item confidence to recommend reliable items. The proposed method determines user preferences based on various behaviors for personalized recommendation. We also propose an user preference measurement that considers time weights to apply the latest propensity to consume. Finally, we predict the preference score of items that have not been used or purchased before, and we recommend items that have highest scores in terms of both the predicted preference score and the item confidence score.

The Effects of Suppliers' CSR Reputation on B2B Salesperson Burnout (B2B기업의 CSR명성이 영업사원의 소진(burnout)에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently, the importance of B2B CSR is being highlighted. Meanwhile, in B2B marketing, salesperson is widely recognized as a key resource influencing supplier firm performance. Therefore, the author paid attention to the role of supplier CSR reputation in customer-salesperson interaction process. So, this study collected dyadic data from 161 B2B purchasing managers and salespersons interacting with them. For customers, a supplier CSR reputation increased customer citizenship behavior and customer long-term orientation. With salespersons, they experienced less burnout due to interacting with customers having higher customer citizenship behavior and long-term orientation. Moreover, the results confirmed that a supplier CSR reputation lowered salespersons' emotional exhaustion through two serial-multiple mediation paths. This research verified that customers' perception and responses to supplier's CSR significantly influence B2B salesperson burnout.

  • As the COVID pandemic has been prolonged, 'Contact-free' has emerged as a major trend keyword. Naturally, most people don't go out and eat at home. As a result, sales of products that can easily cooked such as 'meal-kits' have increased remarkably. Although the number of vegetarians is increasing rapidly in Korea, the domestic market has not been activated. Most vegetarians are cooking or eating HMR together due to the lack of vegetarian restaurants and vegetarian menus. According to the survey, the subjects perceive meal-kit as positive as their experience with meal-kit expanded, and this positive perception and the need for vegetarian meal-kits had a positive effect on the purchase intention of the vegetarian meal-kit. This study presents the direction and potential for development of vegetarian meal kits that meet consumer needs. It will be used as a basis for the development of products and expansion of the market for vegetarian meal-kits.

The Impact of Context Congruity, Perceived Advertising Intrusiveness, and Entertainment on Advertising Effect of Branded Advertisement for Mobile Games: Focusing on Chinese Users (모바일 게임 브랜디드 광고의 맥락일치성, 지각된 광고침입성, 광고오락성이 광고효과에 미치는 영향: 중국 이용자를 중심으로)

  • The mobile game industry is currently on the rise and is one of the major industries. Recently, advertisements among mobile games are aimed at branded content, unlike existing advertising content. In this study, we conduct a study on the advertisement effectiveness of the attributes of branded advertisements under a mobile game environment. Therefore, the impact of context congruity, perceived advertising intrusiveness and entertainment on advertising attitude, brand attitude and purchasing intention was verified through experimental research on Chinese mobile game users in the 10s and 20s. Analysis of the PLS structural equation model showed that context congruity and entertainment had a significant impact on advertising attitude, but did not have a significant impact on brand attitude. Perceived advertising intrusiveness has no significant impact on advertising attitude and brand attitude. Finally, advertising attitude had a significant influence on purchase intention through brand attitude. Through these findings, we discuss the effectiveness of mobile game branded advertisement and present effective brand advertising strategies.

  • The purpose of this study is to research and develop the concepts and functions of the Metabus dog fashion show. Currently, as the pet-related industry grows rapidly, the pet fashion industry is also naturally growing. However, unlike the fast-growing fashion industry, it was not enough to meet the needs of dog owners. Therefore, this study attempted to develop a metaverse dog fashion show by supplementing the problems that arise when purchasing existing pet clothes through metaverse. As a research method, first, a survey was conducted on the rise in the actual pet-related industry and the social trends of metaverse and virtual fashion shows. Second, the existing dog clothing purchase characteristics were examined through user demand analysis, and user needs were derived. Third, the appropriate form of content was established, and a new content consumption environment called metaverse was analyzed and derived. Finally, functions were derived and developed to give users satisfaction. In the future, it is necessary to study a clear payment system in connection with the actual dog clothing business based on this.

The Influence of Characteristics of Beauty Influencers' Social Media Contents on Color Cosmetics Purchase Intention - Focusing on the Millennial Generation - (뷰티인플루언서의 뷰티콘텐츠특성이 색조화장품 구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 밀레니얼세대를 중심으로 -)

  • This study attempted to investigate the characteristics of beauty influencers' social media contents and examine their influence on color cosmetics purchase intention. For this, female millennials who have shown an interest or subscribed beauty contents on social media platforms as followers were selected by convenience sampling. In terms of a research method, a self-administered questionnaire was performed from September 19 to 30, 2022. Among a total of 220 questionnaires distributed, 200 copies excluding poorly answered ones were used for final analysis. The collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis, using SPSS 24.0, and the results found the followings: First, concerning characteristics of beauty influencers' beauty contents, five factors were derived: reliability, professionalism, social attractiveness, attractive appearance, sympathy In purchase intention, on the contrary, two factors were obtained: base makeup, point makeup. Second, regarding the effects of characteristics of beauty contents on color cosmetics purchase intention, 'professionalism (β = -.170 p = .015)' and 'physical attractiveness (β = -.148, p = .037)' revealed a negative influence with statistical significance. Through the result, by demonstrating the effect on the intention to purchase color cosmetics based on the beauty contents feature of the beauty influencer, it is considered that the purchasing power of the color cosmetics industry will continue to increase and help to suggest more effective color cosmetics promotion ways and indicators which companies can utilize.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the service characteristics of premium information contents, one of premium Internet contents, on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, as the premium Internet contents market has attained a rapid growth owing to the nationwide penetration of the Internet and its ease of use. Earlier studies were analyzed to define the service characteristics of premium Internet information contents, and a research model and hypotheses were formulated to find out the influence of the characteristics on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. After a survey was conducted, the analyzable answer sheets from 359 respondents were analyzed. As a result, four service factors of premium Internet information contents that were reliability, charge, usefulness and convenience were identified as the variables that had a significant impact on customer satisfaction, and the other two factors that were timeliness and diversity exerted no influence on that. And customer satisfaction affected customer loyalty in a significant manner. This study attempted to investigate the influential relationship of the diverse service characteristics of premium Internet information contents on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty to have a good understanding of the attitude and will of consumers who bought the premium information contents, and this study also intended to make a contribution to the improvement of the quality of information contents in an effort to step up the revitalization of the Internet contents market by helping the market attract more loyal customers.
