Preparation and characterization of phosphate glasses as oxidation resistive coating (내산화 코팅용 인산염 유리의 제조 및 특성 평가)

  • 탄소/탄소 복합체의 내산화 코팅을 위하여 산화티탄, 산화알루미늄, 산화이트륨 등을 포함하는 여러 가지 인산염계 유리를 제조하였다. 유리 산화물조성 몰비는 인산에 대하여 인산알루미늄을 15몰%, 30몰%, 45몰%로 하였고 산화티탄은 70몰%, 산화 이트륨은 25몰%이 되도록 코팅 액을 제조하였다. 제조 된 코팅액은 석영 도가니에서 열처리 하여 급냉 시켰으며, 급냉 시키고 다시 130$0^{\circ}C$, 1시간 동안 열처리하여 유리를 제조하였다. 제조된 유리의 열중량, 열팽창율, 열전도도를 분석하여 탄소 복합체와의 적합성을 조사하고, 내산화성 시험을 위해 탄소/탄소 복합체에 코팅액을 도포하여 산화 감량 비율을 측정하였다. 엑스선 회절분석기와 적외선 분광기를 통하여 인산염 유리의 구조분석을 실시하고 비커스 미세 경도 시험기를 이용하여 기계적 물성을 측정하였다.

Effect of Particle Size and Mixing Ratio on Quality of Fluidized Coated Vitamin C (입자크기와 혼합비에 따른 유동층 코팅 비타민 C의 품질 특성)

  • The purpose of this study was to improve the stability and the processing property of vitamin C. Vitamin C was coated according to particle size(80-100 mesh, 100-140 mesh) and mixing ratio(1:1.6, 1:2.5, 1:3(w/w)) with coating solution(8% Zein-DP, 6% HPMC-FCC), and then the quality characteristics of fluidized bed micro coated vitamin C were investigated. The coating efficiency and the thickness of coating film were higher in $80{\sim}100$ mesh particle than in $100{\sim}140$ mesh particles, and coating efficiency was decreased as the coating material was increased. The distribution range of particle was more narrow in mixing ratio of 1:3(w/w) than in the other. DPPH radical scavenging activity was not affected by the particle size and the mixing ratio. There was no difference between the coating materials in terms of the quality characteristics. The optimum coating condition for fluidized bed micro-coating of vitamin C powder was selected as the particle size of $80{\sim}100$ mesh and the mixing ratio with coating solution of 1:3(w/w).

  • 본 연구의 목표는 난연화를 위한 기존 공법의 단점 보완과 환경 친화적인 난연제를 사용한 비 난연 XLPE 케이블의 난연화 방법과 최적의 난연 코팅액 배합에 있다. 전력용, 통신용 둥과 같이 고난연성이 요구되는 경우 기존 컴파운드 방법으로는 난연제를 다량으로 첨가하여 사용하며, base polymer와의 혼합성, 기계적인 물성에도 영향을 끼쳐서는 안 되는 등 여러 가지 요구 조건을 만족시켜야 하는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 각 난연 코팅액에 따른 코팅 표면을 고찰한 결과 모든 코팅의 표면은 깨끗하였으며, 코팅층의 두께는 약 10-20㎛로 일정하게 코팅이 되었다. TBBA/Sb₂O₃, TBBA/Zinc Borate의 무게비(wt%)가 1:0.7 이상부터 난연 효과를 보였다. 또한 Mg(OH)₂/Zinc Borate의 경우는 무게비(wt%)가 1:0.5, 1:0.6에서 난연효과를 보였으나, 1:0.7 이상에서는 난연 효과가 떨어지는 현상을 보였다. Mg(OH)₂/AF100 S/Zinc Borate의 경우는 AF100 S의 첨가량이 증가할수록 난연성이 향상되었다. 난연 코팅액의 열 분해 거동을 비교한 결과, Mg(OH)₂/Zinc Borate의 경우 초기 분해 온도가 유기계 난연제를 사용하였을 경우보다 늦어졌으며, 최종 잔류 탄화물 양도 많이 생성되었다. Mg(OH)₂/AF100 S/Zinc Borate의 경우 난연 효과를 상승을 위해 인계 난연제(AF100 S)를 첨가하였으나. 오히려 초기 분해온도가 빨라졌으며 잔류 탄화물의 양도 적게 나타났다. 그러나 연소 테스트 결과 가장 우수한 난연 효과를 보였다.

Quality Characteristics and Processing of Rice Coated with Bamboo Extract (대나무 추출액을 이용한 코팅쌀 제조 및 품질 특성)

  • This study was conducted to investigate optimal processing conditions, cooking characteristics, antioxidant activity and packaging method of rice coated with bamboo extract. In sensory evaluation of cooked rice, rice coated with bamboo ethanol extract was higher smell and taste than the other extraction methods, but texture showed no difference. As coating concentration increasing, L, a and b values of coated rice were increased. But L value of coated rice after cooking was decreased. On sensory evaluation of cooked rice, smell and taste were best in 10$\%$ coated with bamboo ethanol extract. Mineral contents of coated rice with bamboo extract were higher than those of uncoated. Water absorption and volume expansion of coated rice were lower than uncoated rice but showed higher toyo value. Hardness, gumminess and chewiness values of cooked rice with coated rice were higher than uncoated rice. Antioxidant activity of coated rice was higher than uncoated rice about twice times. Toyo values and alkali digestive values of coated rice were highest in paper package than the other packaging conditions. The total bacterial counts of rice coated with bamboo extract after cooking was lower than uncoated rice during storage at 25 and 6O$^{\circ}C$.

  • This study is on development of UV-cured anti-stain coating compounds which have more improved anti-stain function to prevent a surface of PVC tile from stain. To make an anti-stain coating composition, water soluble antistatic agent made from ammonium(IV) salt, antistatic agents for acrylic and polyurethane were used. Their contents varied from 5 to 20wt% against quantities of resin in coating composition. After coating PVC tiles using bar-coating method that can adjust a thickness, we estimated surface properties of coated layer such as anti-stain, electric resistance, adhesive power, thickness of coating, and so on. Results showed that a coating composition added 15wt% of water soluble antistatic agent and coated with No.12 bar-coater had the optimum surface property in electric resistance($3.24{\times}10^9{\Omega}/cm^2$), anti-stain(ink Test, Dust Test) and adhesive power. We could also find electric resistance and anti-stain effect were improved as antistatic agent content increased. However, excessive addition of antistatic agents(over 20wt%) caused the migration.

Formulation and Application of UV-Cured Hard Coating Compounds for PVC Tile (PVC 바닥상재용 광경화형 하드 코팅액의 제조 및 응용에 관한 연구)

  • This study is on development of UV-cured hard coating compounds which have more improved abrasion resistance than existing UV-cured urethane-acrylic resin, to prevent a surface of a widely used PVC tile as a constructive material from being scratched. To make a high abrasion resistant hard coating solution compared to UV-cured urethane-acrylic resin which has no abrasion resistance and been used for PVC tiles, we added powder substances of different abrasion resistant level, $Al_2O_3$(Al-160SG-3), $Al(OH)_3$(SH-8W), $SiO_2$(KS-5000), etc., to the resin, changing their contents from 10% to 30% against quantities of resin, and compounded it using Ring-Mill. After coating PVC tiles with the hard coating solution using bar-coating method that can adjust a thickness, we estimated some surface properties-abrasion resistance, pencil hardness, adhesive power, thickness of coating, and so on. As a result, a hard coating solution added 30% $Al_2O_3$ powder to the resin had the finest surface properties-the first grade in abrasion resistance, H in pencil hardness, 100% in adhesive power, and a hard coating solution which showed excellent solidity and abrasion resistance has smaller particle size, higher powder content, and thicker coating thickness.

Mg(OH)₂/AF100 S/Zinc Borate의 경우는 AF100 S의 첨가량이 증가할수록 탄화막 형성되어 난연성이 향상되었다.

  • 아연말 코팅은 희생부식에 의한 기재보호의 수단으로서 사용되고 있으며, 현재 볼트의 절반을 차지하고 있는 주요 공정이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 실제 작업현장에서 사용되는 아연말 코팅액에 3가 chromate액을 배합하는 공정연구등 다양한 공정시스템을 적용하여 생산된 시제품들을 기존 볼트와의 내식성을 상호 비교하였다.

  • In this paper, we study the coating performance according to the slot-die conditions in the coating process. The quality of the slot-die coating depends on factors such as feeding speed of film, the viscosity of liquid, and the pressure applied to the slot-die. In this study, we determine the optimum conditions for a stable coating by performing 2-D and 3-D simulations. We carry out numerical simulations with respect to the feeding velocity of the film, the pressure of the slot-die inlet, and the viscosity of the coating liquid. Based on the results, the coating was the most reliable when the pressure of the inlet was $5kgf/cm^2$, the viscosity was about 100 cps and the velocity was 20 m/min.

  • This study is development of UV-cured coating compounds which has more improved anti-stain and anti-biosis, about surface prevention of PVC Tile. We added water-soluble anti-static and anti-microbial agent to the resin. The process has prevented electrostatic and bacterial contagious disease. The result, which added 15wt% of water-soluble anti-static and 1wt% anti-microbial agent and coated with No.12 Bar-coater, coating composition had optimum surface property. It appear electric resistance($10^9{\Omega}/cm^2$), anti-stain (Ink Test, Dust Test), anti-biosis (99.99%), and adhesive power(100%).
