The purpose of this study was to prove a development and initial validation of the korean version of coach-athlete relationship maintenance scale that originated from the work of Rhind & Jowett(2012) in pro baseball. The items were then administered to 132 Participants(29 coaches and 103 athletes) completed the questionnaires of the coach-athlete relationship maintenance in First preliminary investigation. Maximum likelihood estimate was used to identify the latent underlying structure. In order to verify the validity of Korean version of coach-athlete relationship maintenance was administered to an independent sample of 273 coaches and athletes. Pro baseball coach-athlete relationship maintenance is consisted of six factors(25 items) with conflict management, motivational, preventative, openness/assurance, support, and social network. SPSS18.0 and AMOS16.0 were used to analyze the exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factory analysis and internal consistency, test-retest with bootstrapping using of the data in this study. The results of the pro baseball coach-athlete relationship maintenance scale had six factors with 25 items, and each six factor was positively correlated. Overall, this study verified pro baseball coach-athlete relationship maintenance questionnaire. Thus, suggest that path of comparing the differences between the first division and farm team by using the test of the structural model invariance across the groups.

The purpose of this research was to develop and validate the coach-athlete relationship scale suitable to amateur golf players by applying the Rasch rating scale model. As the coach-athlete relationship scale, the Korean form of scale developed by Kim and Park (2008), which was revised based on the evidence on the basis of inspection contents, was used to conduct a survey on 217 amateur golf athletes. And the unidimensionality, which is the basic assumption of the Rasch model, was verified using the WINSTEPS program, and the appropriateness of the item category was established through the step calibration. The goodness of fit of each question was tested through the goodness-of-fit index and the differential item functioning (DIF) was estimated according to the golf career. When the goodness-of-fit index estimated for each question was 1.30 or more it was judged unfit and the significance level in the analysis was all set as.05. The results of the analysis showed that the measures variance explained by the Rasch measurement model was more (33.7%) than 20%, so the unidimensionality assumptions of the 11 questions (..hospitable posture when my coach is teaching) were satisfied. The result of analyzing the item category (7 scale) with step calibration was found to be unfit, but in the result of reanalyzing by rescoring into a 5-point scale, it was found to be fit. Particularly, in the result of estimating the goodness-of-fit using the systematized item category (5 scale), Question 10 (...my best when my coach is teaching) and Question 11 were found to be unfit, and as a result of estimating the differential functioning item according to golf career, Question 11 was found to be unevenly differentiated according to golf career. So the 5-point scale of Question 9 after eliminating the two questions which were unfit and differentiated was validated to be the coach-athlete relationship scale suitable to amateur golf athletes.
This study investigated whether adolescents' perception s of coaching behavior and social behaviors differ by gender and sport career, and examined the relationships among these variables. Subjects were 740 high school athletes (516 males, 224 females). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation, and 2(gender)${\times}3$(sport career) MANOVA. Results of MANOVA indicated that the interaction between gender and sport career significantly influenced to the level of prosocial behaviors on opponents. Male athletes perceived their coaches' behaviors more controlled and showed higher antisocial behaviors to opponents than female athletes. Athletes with low sport career reported higher antisocial behaviors on opponents than those with high careers. Autonomy-supportive coaching behaviors were positively associated with prosocial behaviors, but negatively related with antisocial behaviors. Controlled coaching behaviors were positively associated with antisocial behaviors.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of coach confidence on member satisfaction and perceived performance in throwers. The participants were 198 throwers who were competed in the 40th National Athletics Championship. To analyze the data, multiple regression was performed using SPSS 18.0 ver Windows. The results showed that coach confidence of throwers affected significantly on the athlete satisfaction(p<0.05). In other words, the subfactor of coach confidence such as integrity, ability, consistency, sacrifice, and openness affected the subfactor of player satisfaction such as technical analysis, teaching ability, and coaching qualification. And also, coach confidence of throwers affected significantly on the perceived performance(p<0.05). The subfactor of coach confidence such as integrity, ability, consistency, sacrifice, and openness affected the subfactor of player satisfaction such as victory will and skill exhibition. It was concluded that the coach confidence of throwers may affect player satisfaction and perceived performance.

This study purpose is to improve athletes by investigating the relation between the leadership behavior type of athletes and athlete satisfaction and exercise flow. The sampling method was non-probabilistic sampling method. The number of questionnaires was 381 for analyzing the data. SPSS/PC+ Window 21.0 version statistical program were used for analyzing the questionnaire answers. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used. The study results are as follows. First, there were positive correlations between leadership behavior type of athletes and athlete satisfaction and exercise flow, but not between authoritative behavior of leader behavior type and exercise flow. Second, the effect of leadership behavior type of athletes on satisfaction of athletes was positive on social interaction related with training, instruction, and social support, on task execution related with training and instruction, and on coaching related with training, instruction, and positive feedback. Third, the effect of leadership behavior type of athletes on flow of exercise was positive on cognitive commitment related with training, instructions and positive feedback, and on behavioral commitment related with training, instructions, positive feedback, and social interaction. So, athletes will be able to perform good exercise skills if they come to the game in flowing exercise satisfaction and exercise.
Under the hypothesis that social behavior appears with personal differences. this study tried to make it clear that sociality factors are precedence variables, through characterization of the relationship between university students' sociality factors and multidimensional leadership factors. To achieve this goal, we have selected as a population university Taekwondo players participating in playing currently in 2006, sampled 228 subjects using the convenience sampling, and then finally used their data. Data were processed through descriptive analysis, factor analysis reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 12.0, and conclusions were drawn as follows. Through such a process and method, we have yielded the following results. First, the responsibility our of the sociality factors appears to have significant influence on the types of training & direction, positive feedback, and social support at the level of p<.001, on the type of authoritative behavior at the level of p<.01, and on the type of democratic behavior at the level of p<.05. Second, the sociability out of the sociality factors proves to have significant influence on the type of training & direction at the level of p<.05. Third, the planning out of the sociality factors turns out to have significant influence on the type of social support at the level of .001, and on the types of democratic behavior and authoritative behavior at the level of p<.01.
As the nature of triathlons is competition in three successive sports, triathletes experience elevated levels of stress on the body that are absent in single-sport athletic events, and consequently there are more potential medical problems to prepare for. Triathletes can also experience problems such as hypothermia, heat illness, excessive exposure to ultraviolet radiation, musculoskeletal injuries and trauma, immunosuppression, and haemolysis. Depending on the potentiality of such above-listed problems occurring in any given race, race organizers will prepare preventative measures and treatments accordingly. Olympic distance is not the only triathlon racing distance. Sprints, which are normally around half the Olympic distance, are common distances, as well as Long (2 km swim, 80 km bike, 20 km run), Ironman (3.8 km swim, 180 km bike, 42 km run), and ultra-distance events varying in length. Races of longer duration normally result in a higher percentage of athletes experiencing the above-mentioned medical problems, as well as inducing additional health risks such as hyponatraemia. Minimizing the occurrences of serious health issues is possible through the following means: carefully preparing for the probable race-day weather conditions; proper management and organization of the race; preparing an extensive water-safety and ground-course safety plan; distributing necessary nutrition along the course; and stressing the importance for athletes to have proper knowledge concerning race nutrition, biomechanical technique, physical preparation, and utilization of safe equipment. While risks of competing in triathlon are many, the instances of such medical problems are not excessive, and the triathlon has a reputation of being a reasonably safe sport as long as athletes with high risk take added precautions.
