  • The major source of noise in air-conditioner is a compressor. Therefore, noise reduction in a compressor is quite significant as an element technology in air-conditioner field. Recently, a scroll compressor is widely used, because a scroll compressor features lower noise, due to less pulsation of gas pressure, than that of the rotary compressor. During a past noise reduction effort on a scroll compressor, noise radiation from the discharge portion of the hermetic shell was identified as the major contributor to overall noise. For a reduction of noise, the source of noise at the discharge portion must be identified. This paper presents detailed analyzes for the discharge pressure pulsation and cavity resonance at discharge space, which will make possible a low noise design of a scroll compressor.

  • This paper presents an UHF(Ultra High Frequency) band small cavity structured RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) tag antenna with a long reading range, designed to apply on metal cart or pallet for auto-parts logistics. The size of tag antennas is $140{\times}60{\times}10mm^3$, attached on a exporting metal cart, and it can give the information of inventory and logistics of carts. By collecting the exported carts and increasing the recovery rate of missing carts or pallets, the paid import tax can be refunded when the carts are returned back to the manufacture. The tag antenna was equipped with a cover to prevent damage, and the dielectric constant of the cover is considered for the simulation. The reading range of the tag antenna is 12 m using LP(Linear Polarization), 10 m with CP(Circular Polarization) reader antennas. This 920 MHz UHF RFID cavity tag ensures the long reading distance of the antenna regardless of the material of the object where it is attached.

  • The resonance frequency of the slot-line resonator in the shielding box is analyzed. It is verified experimentally that an X-Band oscillator may be realized by the resonator in the microstrip circuit mount as a shielding cavity, and by shunt-connecting the IMPACT diode on the slot-line, And the oscillating power can be coupled with the microstrip by the coupling aperure on the opposite surface of the microstrip by the coupling aperure on the opposite of the substrate of the microstrip cirsuit.

  • Natural convection of a magnetic fluid is different from that of Newtonian fluids because magnetic-body force exists in addition to gravity and buoyancy. In this paper, natural convection of a magnetic fluids (W-40) in a cubic cavity was examined by experimental method. One side wall was kept at a constant temperature (25 $^{\circ}C$), and the opposite side wall was also held at a constant but lower temperature (20 $^{\circ}C$). The magnetic fields of various magnitude were applied up and down by permanent magnets. We measured temperatures at 5 points which are the most suitable places in cavity by the analysis record. The thermo-sensitive liquid crystal film (R20C5A) was utilized in order to visualize wall-temperature distributions. Several kinds of experiments were carried out in order to clarify the influence of direction and intensity of magnetic fields on the natural convection. It was found that the natural convection of a magnetic fluids could be controlled by the direction and intensity of the magnetic fields.

  • Recently, media mix, or mix Policy, the marketing mix, as several different personalities mixed media, as appropriate to maximize the effectiveness of interactive for the increased interest. This is the era of constrained expression of the existing inter-rack area or add to interactivity, the reproduction of the emerging relationship with the user, and extend it by looking for a new alternative, in this thesis is that the elements of these inter activity When applied to the area of the city would be extended. Only the concept of a writer at work that gives meaning to the poem from the perspective of the author's intent at the same time, and enjoy self-representation within the subjective meaning of work and how to seek grant. Therefore, work on the readers and writers are interactivity variety of ways to communication and effect relationship sincerity rise causes. This thesis at the interactivity are three ways to take advantage of the present work in the area of the author and sentimental self-image gain. First, the type of sentimental survey based on the rack at the interactivity to expand the city's area of representation, and second, through user existing types of active interaction in a variety of subjective interpretations allow us to escape, and Third, the interaction between the author and user way through the city to establish new forms of expression.

  • A realization method of the microwave oscillator is proposed by the inherently stable transistor with a cavily resonator feedback loop. The real Part of the output impedance of the inherently stable bipolar transistor can be made to be negative at the resonance frequency by the high-Q cavity feedback loop, and the oscillation condition can be obtained with the matching section of the load. In this work the microwave transistor oscillator is realized with a silicon bipolar transistor HXTR 2101 and a reentrani cavity, and characteristic of the output power 10m Watts at 2.33 GHz osc. frequency can be verified experimentally.

  • Experimental data are presented which describe heat losses of cavity type receiver in wind tunnel. Experiments are conducted at various conditions such as the heater temperature in cavity changes from 300, 400, and 500 oC, wind speed in tunnel from 2 to 8 m/s, and four different tilt angle of 30, 50, 70, 90o. The power consumption including temperature, voltage and current for each experimental conditions are measured and stored in data logger at everyone second interval. The experimental results show that heat losses increase with increasing wind speed and with tilt angle. However, heat losses for the tilt angle of 70 and 90o is almost same at each heater temperature. In addition, the effects of natural convection in combined convection heat losses vary in according to the tilt angle.

  • This paper described on the fabrication of SOI(Si-on-insulator) structures with buried cavities by SDB technology and eletrochemical etch-stop. The cavity was fabricated the upper handling wafer by Si anisotropic etch technique. SDB process was performed to seal the fabricated cavity under vacuum condition at -760mmHg. In the SDB process, captured air and moisture inside of the cavities were removed by making channels towards outside. After annaling(100$0^{\circ}C$, 60 min.), the SDB SOI structure was thinned by electrochemical etch-stop. Finally, it was fabricated the SDB SOI structure with buried cavities as well as an accurate control and a good flatness.

  • Recent proliferation of building information modeling (BIM) has actively stimulated integrated utilization of geometric (graphic) and non-geometric (non-graphic) data. Nevertheless, physically and logically, linking and maintaining these two different types of data in an integrated manner requires enormous overhead efforts for practical implementation. In order to address this problem, this paper proposes a concept and structure of the object breakdown structure (OBS) that facilitates advanced BIM implementations in an automated and effective manner. Proposed OBS numbering system has secure rules for organizing graphic objects in full considerations of effectively integrating with non-geometric data (e.g. cost and schedule). It also removes repetitive linking process caused by design changes or modifications. The result of applying this concept to a housing project revealed that only 120 definitions controled over 6,000 graphic objects for full integration with cost and schedule functions.
