Web Services composition has gained a considerable attention because of the widespread use of the Web Services and SOA. Recently, various researches on automatic Web Services composition are on going to realize more dynamic and intelligent SOA environments. However, there is no complete solution for automatic Web Services composition now and previous researches have several problems. Automatic composition based on syntactic information has low correctness through incorrect semantic linking. Moreover, many researches make an process as the result of composition which is hard for actual execution. In this paper, improved automatic Web Services composition based on Web Services choreography is proposed. In this system, the correctness is improved and the result of composition is more concrete process.

본 논문에서는 서비스 컴포넌트 또는 서비스간의 기능 결합을 통한 서비스 기능 확장 및 신규 서비스 생성을 가능토록 하는 서비스 컴포지션 구조를 설계하였다. 설계된 컴포지션 구조는 TINA-C에서 제안한 서비스 구조를 기반으로 하고 있으며, 서비스 관리 영역 구분에 따라 두 서비스 제공자 영역에서 수행되는 Inter-Domain 컴포지션과 하나의 서비스 제공자 영역에서 수행되는 Intra-Domain 컴포지션으로 구분하여 설계 되었다.

In recent years, the web services composition search has become an issue of great interest. The web services composition search is the process of integrating individual web services to yield desired behavior. Through the web services composition search, more sophisticated functionalities can be provided. Current solutions can be classified into three main classes: forward chaining approach, backward chaining approach and two-phase approach. However one-way chaining approaches, such as forward chaining approach and backward chaining approach have limitations of searching irrelevant web services. And two-phase approach has limitations of including redundant web services. In this paper, we propose an unredundant web services composition search based on the two-phase algorithm. The algorithm consists of a forward phase and a backward phase. In the forward phase, the candidate web services participating composition will be found efficiently by searching the Link Index. In the backward phase, unredundant web services compositions will be generated from candidate web services by using the Token Manager. The experimental results show that our proposed algorithm is more efficient than one-way chaining approaches. The experimental results also show that our algorithm can provide more solutions than previous two-phase approach and is comparable to previous one in execution time.

본 논문에서는 서비스 컴포넌트 또는 서비스간의 기능 결합을 통한 서비스 기능 확장 및 신규 서비스 생성을 가능토록 하는 서비스 컴포지션 구조를 설계하였다. 설계된 컴포지션 구조는 통신망을 기반으로 하는 모든 서비스에 적용 가능한 TINA의 서비스 구조를 기반으로 하고 있다. 본 구조에서는 서비스 컴포지션을 추상화한 기본모델과 컴포지션 대상 서비스들 사이의 세션 관계를 표현한 세션모델을 정의하였다. 또한, 이들 모델을 바탕으로 정보객체와 이들간의 관계를 정의한 정보모델과 분산처리 환경에서 운용되는 연산객체와 이들간의 인터페이스를 정의한 연산모델을 정립하였다. 설계된 구조의 검증을 위하여 본 논문에서는 TINA 서비스 구조를 기반으로 하는 두 개의 멀티미디어 서비스를 구현하였으며, 서비스 컴포지션이 성공적으로 수행됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

웹 기술이 발전하면서 웹 서비스에 대한 정보를 UDDI에 저장, 검색하는 기법이 등장하였다. 이런 웹 서비스 정보 저장, 검색 기법들은 주로 단일 웹 서비스안을 대상으로 하였으나, 최근에는 단일 웹 서비스 뿐만이 아니라 웹 서비스들의 컴포지션 역시 저장하고 검색하는 연구가 진행되기 시작하였다. 웹 서비스 컴포지션은 한 웹 서비스의 출력과 다른 웹 서비스의 입력이 같을 경우 연결시켜 하나의 웹 서비스처럼 보이게 하는 것이다. 웹 서비스들의 컴포지션만으로도 단일 웹 서비스만을 저장, 검색하는 것보다는 유용하다. 그러나 그 알고리즘이 복잡하고, 여전히 사용자의 만족도는 낮다. 본 논문에서는 관계형 데이타베이스와 온톨로지를 이용하여 쉽고 간단한 알고리즘으로 웹 서비스 컴포지션과 검색을 하여 사용자 만족도를 높이는 기법을 제안한다.

소프트웨어 개발 기술은 컴포넌트의 재사용에 기반한 소프트웨어 개발 방법으로 발전하고 있다. 컴포넌트는 재사용 및 가변성을 족친시키며, 시스템의 전반적인 복잡도를 감소시켜 준다. 그러나 컴포넌트 조립정보는 디자인시점(design-time)에서 결정되고 특정 컴포넌트 모델과 컴포넌트 실행환경(Component Execution Environment)에 따라 소스코드에 반영되기 때문에, 시스템의 변경 관리 및 동적인 구성등의 소프트웨어 컴포넌트의 장점을 반영하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 사용되고 있는 컴포넌트 컴포지션의 문제점을 제시하고, 이를 해결하기 위하여 컴포넌트 컴포지션시 필수적 정보들인 컴포넌트간의 상호작용, 컨텍스트 상의 종속성, 메시지 전달 및 호출상의 제약 조건 등의 기본 컴포지션 정도들을 표현하는 컴포지셔널 컨트랙트를 정의한다. 컴포지셔널 컨트랙트는 모든 정보를 컴포닌트 모델 및 환경에 의존적이지 않도록 XML 문서로 정의되므로, 각종 컴포지셔널 컨트랙트를 이용하여 컴포넌트 기술의 가장 큰 장점인 플러그-앤드-플레이(Plug-and-Play)방식의 지원 및 동적 바인딩, 동적 컴포넌트 컴포지션을 지원하는프레임워크를 제시한다.

This paper describes a modeling of service composition manager based on TINA (Telecommunication Information Networking Architecture). The service composition function is mainly motivated by the desire to easily generate new service using existing services from retailers or third party service providers. The TNA-C (Consortium) specification for the service composition does not include the detailed composition procedures and its object models. In this paper, we propose a model of components for the service composition, which adapts a static composition feature in a single provider domain To validate the proposed modeling, we implemented prototype service composition function, which combines two multimedia services; a VOD (Video On Demand) service and a VCS (Video Conference Service) service. As a result, we obtain the specification of the detailed composition architecture between a retailer domain and a third-party service provider domain.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 목표 중 하나는 사용자의 직접적이거나 은연중에 내포된 요청에 따라 적절한 서비스를 제공하는 것이다. 최근에는 사용자의 다양한 요청에 보다 유연하게 대응할 수 있는 연구가 이루어지고 있으며 그 중 단일서비스의 조합을 통해 복합서비스를 제공할 수 있는 서비스 컴포지션(Service Composition)이 주목을 받고 있다. 하지만 기존 연구들은 늦은 처리속도로 인해 빠른 응답이 필요한 실시간 상황인식 서비스에는 부적합 하다. 또한 사례기반 추론은 사례 기저에 쌓인 사례의 수가 늘어감에 따라 속도가 저하되는 단점이었다. 이러한 단점을 최소화 하기 위하여 클러스터링 기법이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문은 사례기반 추론을 이용한다. 또한 사례 기저의 수를 유지하면서 사례 기저의 수치화 및 트리구조 판리를 이용하여 기존방법보다 빠른 서비스 컴포지션을 구현하는 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 기존의 서비스 컴포지션 기법과 비교 분석을 통하여 제안하는 기법의 유효함을 확인하였다.

The appearance of SOA affects business and IT environment and many studies on SOA is progressed in academics and industries. Service will increase extremely and make business opportunity by composing service. In addition, It will support it. However, studies on selection of a service composition target are insufficient. In this study, we propose a framework that select a service composition target so we use Analytic Hierarchy Process methodology. As a result of this study, we enabled service selection to apply functional/non-functional attributes of services, various stakeholder's view and some selection criteria with service composition.

In recent years, the web services composition has received much attention. By web services composition, we mean providing a new service that does not exist on the repository. In this paper, we propose a new system called PSR for web services composition search using a relational database. We also propose algorithms for pre-computing web services composition using joins and indices. We store ontologies from web services in RDBMS, so that the PSR system returns web services composition in order of similarity with user query through the degree of the ontology matching. We demonstrated that our pre-computing web services composition approach in RDBMS yields lower execution time and good scalability when handling a large number of web services and user queries.
