  • 기존의 웹 컨텐츠를 휴대폰이나 PDA 등과 같은 개인용 단말기에 표현하기 위해서는 단말기성능상의 제약(낮은 CPU 성능, 작은 출력 화면, 입출력 방법의 단순함 등)을 고려한 컨텐츠 변환의 과정이 필요하다. 트랜스코딩이란 기존의 웹 컨텐츠를 다양한 단말기의 환경에 따라 적합한 형태로 변환 하는 것을 의미한다. 지금까지의 트랜스코딩에 관한 연구는 단말기의 성능을 고려한 서비스 제공자 중심의 일방적인 컨텐츠 변환 기법으로 사용자 관심사의 반영이 어렵고 서비스 이용의 효율성이 떨어진다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 관심사를 반영한 어노테이션 기반의 효과적인 XML 문서 트랜스코딩 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 트랜스코딩 프레임워크는 3단계로 구성되며 사용자 어노테이션의 생성, 어노테이션을 이용한 원본 문서의 재구성, 단말기 성능을 고려한 XSLT 변환으로 이루어진다.

  • Since the 7th educational renovation was established, ICT has emerged as an indispensable tool for teaching a variety of subjects in technical high schools. This paper develops the model for explaining the factors affecting the use of web contents as a mode for studying Electronic subject. Based on data collected from a questionnaire survey from the students who studied the Electronic subject using web contents, a following conclusion is provided: the perceived usefulness, ease of use and the playfulness significantly affect the level of satisfaction, but the design of contents, image, quality, attitude as well as self-efficacy only indirectly affect the satisfaction level. This result might provide the useful guidelines for designing the web-contents for technical high school students.

  • For a P2P network, the contents distribution is a very important service because the contents provider is not fixed. And in the P2P media streaming, a request peer replays and saves media data simultaneously, and after streaming it acts as a new source peer providing media files to other peers. Therefore streaming and file saying operations should be simultaneously carried out in order to distribute contents through the P2P network. In this paper, a P2P multi-source media streaming system which can replay the contents data during downloading is proposed and implemented. The system reduces the user response time and the number of simultaneous user increases more than two times. Moreover, transmitting a part of media file makes fast distribution and diffusion of contents possible.

  • As the ubiquitous technology has been widespread, the u-service development driven by the private sector is increasing these days. In this paper, a new development methodology of interactive u-services for a mixed-use complex in u-City is proposed. The current state-of-the-art IT, Web2.0, assumes that information must be communicated in both way, not only from service provides to users but also from users to service providers. Here the user-driven u-service will be utilized for service providers to customize user services. By this interactive u-service paradigm, the information users become the information providers so that the mixed-use complex will take advantage of massive information. Also, admitting that the mixed-use complex is limited in terms of the space size, the network effect of information and shared contents created through the interactive u-services can be maximized.

  • VoD (Video-on-Demand) 서비스는 가입자가 원하는 컨텐츠를 실시간으로 전송하는 서비스의 형태이다. 오늘날은 방대한 양의 멀티미디어 데이터를 효율적으로 압축하고 보다 빠르게 전송할 수 있는 시스템의 발달이 가속화되고 있고 이는 VoD 서비스의 증가로도 이어지고 있다. 그러므로 가입자가 원하는 컨텐츠를 보다 효과적으로 제공할 수 있는 VoD 서비스의 방법을 찾는 것은 중요한 일이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 NVoD (Near-VoD) 서비스 또는 TVoD (True-VoD) 서비스 만을 제공함으로서 생길 수 있는 단점을 없애고 장점만 살릴 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 이는 기존의 가입자단에 Buffer를 제공하여 NVoD를 TVoD화 함으로서 가능하게 하였다. 또한, 본 논문에서 제안한 방법이 필요한 버퍼의 크기를 제시하고 전체적인 알고리즘을 제시하여 이를 구체화 하였다.

  • 인터넷이 보편화되고, 멀티미디어 처리 기술과 정보통신 기술이 발전함에 따라 인터넷을 이용한 원격교육 기술이 연구되고 있다. 인터넷을 통해 다양한 멀티미디어 자료를 제공하여 면대면 강의실 강의 효과를 얻을 수 있는 도구는 많이 등장하고 있으나, 강의 도구에서 제공해야 할 기능에 대한 표준이 존재하고 있지 않으며, 강의 행위를 기록하고 재생하기 위한 표준화된 자료구조가 없으며 강의 도구간의 자료호환이 되지 않고 있어 저작된 강의의 활용성이 낮다는 문제점이 있다. 따라서, 강의 행위를 표준화 하고 이에 따라 저작된 강의를 저장하고 실행하는 표준 및 메커니즘의 개발이 반드시 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 교수자의 음성과 다양한 드로잉과 포인터라는 교수자의 기본 강의 행위를 기준으로 강의를 저장하고 재생하는 멀티미디어 원격강의 도구를 구현하였다. 또한, SMIL을 확장하여 멀티미디어 원격강의를 저장하기 위한 자료구조인 SMILe(SMIL For Education)을 제안한다. 제안된 SMILe은 강의자의 음성 파일, 강의자료인 이미지 파일, 강의 드로잉, 포인팅을 시간적 프리젠테이션이 가능한 SMIL 문서로 나타낼 수 있어 보다 쉽고 효율적으로 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 구성할 수 있다.

  • Problem of compatibility, contents protection, contents circulation etc. was caused between contents offerer and consumers by indiscreet rights technical development about digital contents. Therefore, MPEG-21 framework proposed the REL(Right Expression Language) based on XML(extensible Markup Language) by rights expression language for rights management. We designed and implemented of the REL document editing system that rights creation and edit are available efficiently about contents easily without comprehension of MPEG-21 framework and client system that present consumption method of REL document.

  • As a part of working on development of the learning management system, a adaptive learning management system which is able to provide individual learner with different learning contents or paths customized to learner's learning behaviors by expanding SCORM was proposed in this dissertation. In terms of instructional technology interrelated with technology of CBI and ITS, new learning environments and learner preferences were analyzed. A related laboratory system was implemented by packaging a process on how to expand the meta data for contents and a process on how to utilize the web-based learning contents dynamically. In order to evaluate the usability of the implemented system, a sample content was provided to some selected learners and their learning achievement resulted from the new learning environment was analysed. A result of the experiment indicated that the adaptive learning management system proposed in this dissertation could provide every learner with the different content tailored to their individual learning preference and behavior. and it worked also to promote the learning performance of every learner.

An Empirical Analysis of Influencer's Posting Strategies in Social Media (소셜미디어에서의 인플루언서 포스팅 컨텐츠 전략)

  • This study investigates the posting strategies of influencers for sales: what kind of contents should the influencers provide and how? Influencers used to have seven days of advertising period before the event date (sales begins) and provide both (or either) commercial and (or) non-commercial contents. Some influencers have large number of followers, while others have very small followers. We empirically investigated whether the sequence of posting the commercial and non-commercial contents influence sales, and whether such effects are susceptible to the size of followers. Through the analysis of 1,153 events of 298 influencers on Instagram, we found that commercial contents are more important than non-commercial contents for both small and large influencers. In more detail, the quantity of commercial contents is very important for the large influencers, while the quality of commercial contents is important for small influencers.
