융합과 복합이라는 컨버전스가 이슈가 되고 있는 가운데, 통신사업자들은 새로운 형태의 컨버전스 서비스를 통해 신규 수익원을 확보하고 이용자 편의를 증대시키고자 많은노력과 투자를 하고 있다. 하지만 학계, 산업계 일부에서는 이러한 컨버전스 서비스가 융합, 결합할 때 나타나는 기술적 결함과 기존 서비스 및 신규 서비스 간 대체, 보완 경쟁 등으로 그 수요가 틈새 시장 수준에 그칠 것이라는 우려를 나타내기도 한다. 컨버전스는 이미 통신시장의 새로운 패러다임으로 자리를 잡았으며, 정부도 IT839의 지속적인 추진과 발전을 위해 컨버전스 형태 서비스에 많은 관심을 보이고 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 주요 컨버전스 서비스의 최근 동향을 살펴보고, 소비자 설문 조사를 통해 신규 컨버전스 서비스에 느끼는 효용과 중요도 분석을 하고 이를 바탕으로 사업자는 물론 고객들에게 보다 경쟁력 있는 컨버전스 서비스가 자리매김하기 위한 전략적 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study are as follows. First, to analyze digital convergence level of convergence generation to demographic variables. Second, the convergence level to digital device and using frequency to digital service. Third, the convergence level to digital service and using frequency to digital service. The research methods FGI, the interview with IT expert group and survey. The results of research are as follows. First, 30 aging, expert group, higher education group over graduate school are actively using and participated. Second, high level of convergence device are smart-phone, tablet PC, net-book are in order. high level of convergence service are SNS service, twitter, uee, portal messenger and app store, e-Book, web hard are in order. Third, The convergence generation enjoying app-store of smartphone, wireless game and more participating facebook/cyworld twitter, Portal, internet community.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the smart-phone and the existing service convergence to find out the future direction in convergence pattern in e-business. To analyze the data and to derive the result, the association rules are applied. As a result, the findings are as followings. Firstly, it is observed that the usage patterns of smart-phone and the existing service convergence are very similar. This means that the convergence of smart-phone can be predicted through the usage pattern of the existing users. Secondly, through the analysis on the convergence patterns of smart-phone usages and the existing services, the smart-phone's link to home networking and office equipments can significantly conform to the user's requirements. It is meaningful that this research has newly approached to the future direction of e-business and the future convergence paradigm by analyzing the relationship between the usage patterns of smart-phone users and the existing service convergence.

현재 IT서비스 업체에서 새로운 성장동력으로 떠오르고 있는 분야가 융복합사업(IT+IT, IT+장비, IT+장비+시공)이라고 불리우는 컨버전스 프로젝트이다. 기존의 IT분야의 프로젝트와는 전혀 다른 특성을 갖고 있는 컨버전스 프로젝트에 대한 IT서비스 업체의 준비는 아직 미흡한 것이 현실이다. LG CNS에서는 이런 현실에서 컨버전스 프로젝트의 특성에 맞추어 기존 프로젝트 관리자(Project Manager)의 역할을 재정의하고 이를 현장에 적용시키기 위해 그동안의 컨버전스 프로젝트를 수행하면서 얻은 이슈에 HPT(Human Performance Technology; 수행공학)를 적용하여 조직적인 차원에서 프로젝트 관리자의 육성 로드맵을 만들고 이를 확산시키는 활동을 진행하고 있다. 이에 본 발표에서는 HPT측면에서 컨버전스 프로젝트 이행역량을 강화하기 위한 사례를 소개하고자 한다.

Convergence being process varietly and quickly, with complex products and services based on digital technology and with start its creating new form of products and service, influenced to diversity of consumers need, and social trend. Thus, in this paper, convergence it presents the application instance according to variation of the convergence commit, and observed the advantage which is the possibility of appearing from here, it has the necessity of the effect and the policy preparatio, appearing on it try the electronic government of domestic convergence with role of the u-Gov due to an evolution with convergence, for it attains the administrative idea which u-Gov pursues. And by convergence analysis of issue, hereafter it presented a policy propulsion direction of convergence.

인터넷기반의 서비스는 메신저, VoIP 등의 통신서비스를 수용하고, 음악, 영화, 교육, 게임 등 컨텐츠 서비스와의 연계도 자연스럽게 확대되고 있다. 차세대 통신네트워크인 BcN은 IP 전달망을 기반으로 접속, 제어, 서비스계층간에 독립적인 계층구조를 가지며, 다양한 통신+방송+데이터 융합 서비스를 안전하고 보장된 품질로 제공하기 위한 망 인프라이다. 다기능 단말과 다양한 접속 서비스 등 복합적인 통신환경을 사용하는 고객에게 다양한 융합서비스를 효율적으로 제공하기 위하여 컨버전스서비스 제공구조의 정립은 차세대통신서비스 제공자에게 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 현재 BcN 컨버전스 환경을 기술하고, ITU-T에서 진행중인 통합서비스 관련 표준화 동향을 정리하며, BcN 컨버전스 서비스 제공방안을 고찰하였다.

This study is research of actual proof on verification of the user's utility about mobile convergence products and the types of convergence categorize into four types according to their characteristics. Four types of convergence; (1)Open service via scalable internet, (2)Close service dependent on mobile phones, (3)Broadcast services such as DMB, (4)Individual products such as camera based on digital technology. The purpose of research model is to identify differences in effect value of the types of mobile convergence according to its usage level and level of quality. As the result of this study, Usage level of open service/individual products had a significant effect on the user's utility about mobile convergence products, Also Level of quality of open service had a significant effect.

In information society, Convergence was combined with a word 'digital'. Digital convergence means a service or new product which appeared through fusion of unit technologies in information and communication regions. The effects of convergence technologies and social phenomenons are visualized in overall regions of society such as economy, society, culture, etc. In this paper, we described a prospects and technologies needed in digital convergence environment. And we described a wearable computer which was leading case in digital convergence.

본 논문은 IMS 개발-에 있어서 컨버전스 서비스를 지향하는 망 진화 방향을 제안한다. 4 세대 라고 언급하고 있는 4G 네트워크의 핵심인 IMS 는 3GPP 에서 표준화를 진행하며, ITU-T, MSF, TISPAN 과 같은 표준화 단체에서도 유사한 망구조로 제안하고 있다. 그러나 IMS망을 통하여 생성되는 컨버전스 서비스로의 발전에는 고려해야 할 사항들이 많이 있다. 본 논문에서는 망구조를 통하여 단말의 입장과 서비스의 진화방향을 제안한다.

디지털 컨버전스와 유비쿼터스 시대의 시작은 디지털 미디어 기술의 발전과 방송 통신 사업의 컨버전스를 가속화 시켰으며, 그 결과로DMB, WCDMA, Wibro, IP-TV, HSDPA 등의 새로운 형태의 차세대 제품과 서비스들이 뉴미디어 매체의 핵심으로 등장하고 있다. 국내에서 방송 통신의 컨버전스의 빠른 진행은 세계 최초로 디지털 멀티미디어 방송(DMB) 서비스 시작을 가능하게 하였다. DMB 서비스는 멀티미디어 서비스가 핵심이다. DMB 데이터 서비스인 Broadcasting Website Service(BWS)는 현재 지상파 DMB방송 사업자인 KBS, MBC, SBS, YTNDMB가 본방송 준비 막바지 단계이며, 삼성전자와 LG전자를 비롯한 단말기 개발사들도 데이터 서비스를 위한 제품 출시에 서두르고 있는 등 DMB 산업의 활성화의 주역이 될 것으로 예상된다. DMB의 데이터 서비스는 뉴스, 날씨, 프로그램 정보 등의 단순 정보보기 수준에 그치지 않고, 리턴 채널을 이용한 양방향 서비스와, SMS, 전화걸기 등 휴대전화 단말의 고유기능과의 연계를 통한 다양한 서비스도 선보일 것이다. 더 나아가 향후 T-Commerce와 개인 광고 등 새로운 비즈니스 모델과 사업영역으로 확산시켜 나갈 수 있을 것이다. 그러나, 아직까지 DMB와 데이터 서비스는 초기단계로서, 표준 기술의 규격 작업, 이론적 논의들, 관련 사업자들의 비즈니스 준비 등에서 검토되어, 실제 사용자들을 대상으로한 연구 분석이 이루어 지지 않았다는 연구의 한계를 가지고 있다. 본격적으로 방송, 통신 컨버전스 데이터 서비스가 시작되면서, 사용자들에 초점을 맞춘 많은 연구가 이루어지길 바라며, 이러한 연구의 분석을 통해 또 다른 새로운 서비스와 비즈니스 기회의 창출을 기대해 본다.
