미군은 제1차 세계대전부터 파병장병과 그 가족에 대한 지원정책을 발전시켜오고 있다. 이러한 미군의 파병장병 및 가족 지원정책은 파병 전·중·후 시기별로 구분된다. 파병 전에는 주로 금전문제와 주거문제에 대한 지원이 제공된다. 파병 중에는 장병과 가족의 관계 유지, 자녀의 학업성과 확인 등이 가능하도록 국방부 차원의 커뮤니티가 구성된다. 파병복귀 후에는 장병과 가족의 정신 및 신체건강에 대한 지원이 이루어진다. 본 연구에서는 이를 바탕으로 국방부 해외파병 업무 훈령을 법률로 격상하여 파병장병 가족이 관사에 거주하지 않더라도 주거지원을 받게 할 것, 파병부대와 파병장병 가족 간 파병부대 소식, 육아, 자녀교육 등의 정보를 실시간 공유할 수 커뮤니티를 개설할 것, 일정 기간 동안 파병복귀 장병과 가족의 정신건강을 관리할 것을 제안하고 있다.

주도적 주거유형이 공동주택단지로 자리잡아가며 현대사회에서 주거환경에 따른 커뮤니티의 문제가 중요한 이슈로 자리 잡고 있다. 그리고 이는 전통적 공동체의 붕괴와 이로 인한 사회적 문제의 양산으로 나타나기 시작한지 오래이다. 공동주택단지내 커뮤니티의 활성화를 위하여 다양한 논의가 지속되어 왔으며, 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 서울, 수도권, 지방대도시의 공동주택단지를 조사 분석하여 커뮤니티 시설의 모델을 제안하고자 하는 설계형 연구로서 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다. 공동주택 관련 법규에서 규정하고 있는 커뮤니티 시설 기준에 견주어 프로그램의 다양성에 있어서는 한계를 갖고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 이는 점차 여가의 질의 향상을 기대하는 거주민의 만족도를 충족시키는데 한계로 나타나고 있으며, 물리적인 시설환경을 중심으로 기준화하고 있는 시설기준은 점차 질에 있어서의 요구가 증대하고 있는 가주민의 만족도를 높이는데 한계가 있으며, 이를 위해서는 시설기준의 다양성을 고려하는 접근이 선행되어야 할 것이다. 공동주택의 외부공간 이용성이 증대되고 있는 오늘날 커뮤니티시설의 지하공간을 활용하며, 건축적 요소를 통해 환경성을 확보하는 방안이 고려될 수 있으며, 이는 커뮤니티시설의 내·외부 공간의 이용성을 높이는데 장점을 갖는다.

1970년대 고급 아파트촌의 대명사로 불리웠던 동부이촌동이 강북지역 한강변 초고층 주거시설의 랜드마크로 또한번 새롭게 변신한다. 지상 56층, 42층, 36층 총 3개동으로 구성된 초고층 주거시설이 오는 8월 1일부터 입주할 예정이기 때문이다. 이 아파트는 당분간 건립되기 힘든, 강북에서 가장 높은 초고층 주거시설로 지난 2013년 4월 서울시가 한강변 건축물 높이를 35층으로 제한하기 전인 2009년 사업시행 인가를 받았다. 한강이 내려다 보이고 인근에 국립중앙박물관, 용산가족공원, 한강공원 등 대형 공원이 있는데다 강남권, 강북권, 강서권으로의 접근성이 뛰어나 한강변의 새로운 랜드마크로 주목받고 있는 만큼 특화된 커뮤니티 시설과 함께 친환경 건축물 최우수 등급, 에너지효율 1등급, 초고속 정보통신 특등급 인증 획득을 목표로 최고의 주거성능등급 아파트 시공에 만전을 기하고 있다. 본지는 준공준비에 여념이 없는 이촌동 렉스아파트 재건축 현장에서 삼성물산 권진학 현장소장과 (주)우진아이엔에스(대표 홍평우 손광근) 김동원 현장소장을 만났다.

임대주택단지는 저소득 계층에게 주거의 안정적 공급을 위해 조성되는 단지로서 주거복지측면에서 우리사회에서 갖는 의미가 크며, 지속적인 논란과 관심의 대상이 되어 왔으며, 저소득계층의 거주환경에 대한 관심 등으로 이슈가 되어 왔다. 또한 임대주택단지는 주거사와 궤를 같이하며 발전해 왔으나 저소득계층의 삶의 질 측면에서는 일반 공급 주거와 상당한 차이를 보이며, 이는 궁극적으로 소득계층에 따른 누려야 하는 삶의 질에 대한 권리문제로 논란이 지속되고 있다. 본 연구를 위해 총 6곳의 임대주택단지 답사를 실시하였으며, 시설이용성과 물리적 환경에 대한 조사를 실시하였다. 시설의 이용은 단지의 물리적 환경에 대한 배치계획에 영향을 받으며, 특히 단지의 주진입과 주변 단지와의 관계 등에 영향을 받고 있다. 또한 커뮤니티 공간의 디자인과 시설계획의 정도에 따라 이용자의 이용성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었으며, 커뮤니티 시설의 복합적 기능 확보를 통해 이용자 요구를 수용할 필요성을 확인하였다.

우리나라 1인 가구는 대부분 다인가구로의 전환 이전에 잠시 거치는 거주형태로 인식되어 불안정한 상황이다. 그러나 오늘날 만혼, 비혼 등 결혼에 대한 인식 변화와 고령화 등의 영향으로 가족의 형태가 변화하고 있으며 이에 따라 거주형태도 다인가족 중심에서 1인 또는 2인 등 소단위로 분화되면서 다양해지고 있다. 하지만 다인 가구에 중심으로 형성된 기존의 주거시장에서는 이러한 급속도의 변화를 수용할 수 없어 여전히 소형 주거는 많은 불편함을 감수해야만 하는 열악한 실정이다. 본 연구는 현 사회현상에 주목하고 1인 가구를 위한 주거 계획 시 실내환경 측면에서 고려해야 할 사항들을 도출하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 선행연구들을 바탕으로 1인가구의 생활유형과 실내공간에서의 요구 사항들을 파악하기 위한 설문을 구성하였으며 실제 1인가구를 대상으로 설문조사 하였다. 결과, 현재 1인가구들이 거주하는 소형주거에서는 식사공간, 수납공간 등이 미비하여 공간 만족도가 매우 낮게 나타나는 등 무계획적 원룸형태 공급으로 인한 문제점을 확인 할 수 있었다. 따라서 단순히 숙식을 위한 물리적 공간 공급이 아니라 다양한 라이프스타일을 반영한 계획적 평면개발이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 또한 공간이라는 하드웨어와 1인 주거 간의 커뮤니티 활성화, 고령사회를 반영하여 다양한 연령대 1인 주거를 위한 사회화 프로그램 개발 등 소프트웨어 적 고려도 함께 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구 결과는 물리적, 심리적 전환기에 있는 우리나라 주택시장의 새로운 요구에 대응할 수 있는 기초자료로 활용되어지길 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest basic data to establish policy directions for improvement on quality of rural housing in Korea. A literature survey were used fur study The contents of survey includes policy supports in rural Korea and rural America. The results of the study grasped the situations that the newly built and repair, a vacant house, landscape and welfare with the support of rural housing policy in Korea. Also rural affordable housing policy examined supports of RHS programs in USDA variously. Based on the results, some policy directions to rural housing and community were suggested.

attention to the elevation of the Quality of living, various ways to revitalize the community spirit are found including reforming hardhearted neighborhoods and overcoming the dreariness of city. With the development of the internet and the spread(dissemination) of "digital home", the communities in cyber space are especially active since we are living in an information-oriented society. To consolidate the communities in apartment complexes, this study tries to find revitalization methods of the cyber community by analyzing the contents of the web sites, understanding the cyber community. The cyber contents that are provided come from three main companies that develop the internet apartments. These are compared and analyzed. The related cyber communities("cafe") are also analyzed. The results are as follows. 1)Though they have some differences on details, the content provided from internet companies can be categorized as introduction to the apartment complex, personal service, community, club and internet shopping. 2)The contents on the cyber community made by the residents are mostly for clubs and chatting since they are made for communication between residents. 3)To revitalize the cyber community, the content that gets more attention from the residents needs to be subdivided into groups.

The purpose of this research is to find applicable design characteristics and methods of communal spaces in vertical urban multi-family housing. With this goal, several overseas' multi-family housing projects are selected and their communal spaces are identified. The design characteristics of the communal spaces are analyzed with a special focus on the territories such as an individual unit boundary, building interior and exterior boundary. In terms of the framework for analysis, territoriality, openness, and unique characteristics are reviewed. As a result, the communal spaces are created using various spatial composition methods such as addition, subtraction, connection, extension, accumulation, and isolation. The communal space programs are integrated in plans and sections throughout the buildings. Visual openness and connection with surrounding urban environments are articulated by void spaces, transparent and translucent building materials, green spaces, and applications of graphical images. Communal identities and aesthetics are emphasized by unique building forms and space arrangements. The uses of finish materials, colors, objects, and images add strong characters to the communal spaces. For a further research, it is necessary to combine a design method study with residents' behaviors and community interactions.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the emotional characteristics of community space with recently constructed apartment complexes. The designated subjects of this research are located in Dongtan the first New Town, with 500 to 1000 households and constructed as single buildings for community space are 14 apartment. The results are as follows: 1)The space for day care planned for children's emotional comfort and stability measured by symbolizing image of nature. Also, allowing children to recognize their own space by decorating the walls with the works of themselves and their friends was shown to break down extraneous feelings against other spaces, and allow intimacy for spaces. 2)The space for the aged was shown to give a secure and friendly feeling by considering the psychological and physical traits of the elderly. It can replenish the depressed bodies of aged people with vigor and stimulate their emotion. 3)The space for indoor exercise utilized various visual facilities, such as graphics and images, to bring out specific areas and create affiliation in stimulating the emotion of residents.
