  • 도시대기중의 분진은 입경 분포에 따라 공기 역학적 직경 2.5$\mu\textrm{m}$를 기준으로 미세 입자(fine particles)와 거대 입자(coarse particles)로 나누어지는 쌍극분포를 보인다. 미세 입자는 주로 화석연료의 연소, 자동차의 배기가스 등과 같은 인위적 발생원에 의한 것이며, 거대입자는 토사의 재 비산, 해염 통과 같은 자연적 발생원에 의한 것이다. 미세 입자는 오염된 도심지역 분진수의 90-99%에 이르는 높은 비율을 보이고 있고, 폐 깊숙히 침투하여 폐 질환을 일으킬 수 있다. A design guide to minimize frost heave in unbound pavement layers over box culverts (저토피부 암거상부 포장의 도상피해 예방을 위한 단명설계)

  • During the whole month of December in 2005, Korea experienced both heavy snowfall and freezing temperature in southeast regions, which had caused frost related damages to many pavements laid on top of box culverts. In-situ observation revealed that the formation of ice lenses in subgrade and subsequent unbound layers led to upward heaving and transverse cracks in concrete and asphalt pavements. This has affected the long-term performance of pavements, as well as has threatened drivers' safety for a while. Recently, Korea Expressway Corporation has proposed a design guide to better protect newly constructed unbound pavement layers over culverts from frost heave. A trench drainage system has been selected to effectively draw off water and to alleviate pore-water pressure in soils during the coldest season. This paper presents experimental and analytical backgrounds behind this new design guide. Soil specimens retrieved from the sites are tested to quantify clay content and to estimate the permeability of subgrade. A 2-D ground seepage analysis has been conducted to better understand the changes in pore water pressures as a function of grain size. Finally, an optimum size of trench drainage is determined based on numerical analysis and workability in the field.

Study on Nutrient Balance in Paddy Field of Fluvio-Marine Deposit (하해혼성(河海混成) 논토양(土壤)의 양분수지(養分收支)에 관한 연구)

  • To test for the effect of applied fertilizer and nutrients on uptake and transport for paddy rice, two paddy field trials were conducted with Dongjinbyeo in degenerated salt paddy field of Jeonbuk series from 1999 to 2000. After experiment, soil acidity, content of organic matter phosphate, silicate, potassium, calcium, and total nitrogen was increased by application of fresh cattle manure(FCM). Content of Nitrogen in soil layer leached inorganic nitrogen $NO_3$ was higher that that of $NH_4$ and was high in treatment of FCM. Content of $PO_4$ was higher in FCM than other treatments. But content of potassium was in high control. During the growth of rice plant, the amount of water consumption was 477mm. The amount of supplied nitrogen was high in treatment of no nitrogen(NN), 20% reduced application of LCU(LCU-20%), and no fertilizer. In case of phosphate, the supplied amount was more than the consumed amount with the exception of treatment "no phosphate(NP) and no fertilizer(NF)". In case of potassium, the consumed amount was more than the supplied amount in all treatments. The amount of applied nitrogen in the nutrient infiltrated water was high in treatment soil test(ST), C+FCM+Si(Silicate) and the ratio of recovered nitrogen was high in 20% reduced application of LCU. The amount of applied phosphate in the nutrient infiltrated water was high in FCM and that of applied potassium was high in 20% reduced application of LCU. Nitrogen use efficiency of paddy rice was high in 20% reduced application of LCU and use efficiency of phosphate and potassium was high in C+Si(Silicate). Grain yield of rice was high in order of 20% reduced application of LCU>C+Si=C+FCM+Si>C+FCM.

  • In land treatment systems for organic waste removal, especially rapid intiltration method is well known as less climatic restrictions and less field area requirements as against the others. Therefore the present study on rapid infiltration is aimed to survey the waste removal rate, infiltration rate, variation of dissolved oxygen due to biological oxygen absorption and pH decrement using pilot infiltration column filled with permeable soil(sand) as media, also to find the waste load(COD) per unit area and nitrate conversion ratio from TKN. The results obtained here are as follows. 1) When the depth of sand layer is more than 1 meter, the COD removal would be reached steadly to 90% or more under the infiltration rate below 15~20cm/day, and would be no problem due to leached organic pollutants considering the depth of ground water table. 2) The COD removal per unit area($m^2$) can readily be expected to 10~14g/day with proper operation, and the decomposition of substrate would be attained mostly at the surface layer of the media. 3) Generally the conversion of TKN to the $NO_3{^-}$-N is seemed to be proportional to the COD removal rate if provided proper retention time.

Evaluation of Chloride Ion Penetration Resistance of High Calcium Silicate Cement Concrete (High Sulfated Calcium Silicate 시멘트 콘크리트의 염소이온침투저항성 평가)

  • The aim of this work was to a comparative review the performance of high calcium silicate cement (HSCSC) and that of ordinary Portland cement(OPC) and blast furnace slag cement(S/C). The result of the compressive test confirmed that the compressive strength development rate of high calcium silicate cement concrete at the age of 3 days was 73.6% that of ordinary Portland cement concrete. However, at the age of 28 days, the strength development rate of high calcium silicate cement increased to about 107.0% compared to ordinary Portland cement. In addition, the test of the chloride ion penetration resistance of concrete showed that at the age of 28 days, the passed charge decreased by 73.4% and 93.0%, respectively, in blast furnace slag cement and high calcium silicate cement compared to ordinary Portland cement, and at the age of 56 days, it decreased by 79.1% and 98.3%, exhibiting excellent resistance to chloride ion penetration. In particular, it was confirmed that the rate of decrease in the passed charge with age was higher in high calcium silicate cement than in ordinary Portland cement and blast furnace slag cement.

  • 연속주조공정에서 용강의 통로, 산화방지 및 유체 흐름을 용이하게 하는 역할을 하는 다공성 노즐(porous nozzle)은 용강과의 직접적인 접촉으로 인한 화학 반응 및 용강의 침투현상을 방지하기 위해 불활성 가스를 주입하여 청정강을 제조하는데 이용된다. 공정 중 노즐 막힘으로 인한 배압상승과 열충격에 의한 크랙(crack) 발생이 문제되고 있으며 신뢰성 향상 연구가 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기공크기와 기공분포가 고온안정성 및 내열충격성에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 내구성 시험 및 고장분석을 통하여 노즐의 신뢰성 향상 방안을 고찰 하였다. 기공을 제어한 시편을 제조하여 기공분포에 따른 고온안정성을 확인하기 위해 실제 사용 조건인 용강온도($1550^{\circ}C$)와 보다 높은 온도($1700^{\circ}C$)에서 각각 고온 시험을 수행하였다. 열충격을 스트레스 인자로 한 내구성 시험을 수행한 후 고장원인을 분석하였으며 열화정도를 확인하기 위해 열처리 온도에 따른 차압 및 굽힘 강도 변화를 비교하였다. 또한 결정상 분석을 통해 온도에 대한 상변화를 확인하였고, 시편의 표면 및 파단면의 미세구조 분석을 통해 크랙 발생여부를 확인하였다. 다공성 노즐의 기공분포가 균일 할수록 고온안정성 및 내열충격성이 향상됨을 확인하였고, 이를 통해 Porous Nozzle의 열화원인으로 판단되는 기공 크기 및 분포에 따른 크랙 발생에 대해 열응력 고찰을 수행하였다.

  • 최근 도시화 및 기후변화에 의한 홍수피해의 증가로 인하여 이에 대응하는 방안으로 저영향 개발(LID) 요소기술에 관하여 다양하게 개발이 되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 요소기술에 대한 효율을 검증할 수 있는 표준화된 검증방법 및 기기는 부재한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 LID 기법 및 개수로에서의 수리학적 실험 및 관측이 가능한 스마트 적응형-다목적 광폭 개수로 실험 장치를 개발하였다. 다목적 개수로를 이용한 실험으로는 수문학적 측면에서 첨두 유출량, 침투량, 지체 및 저류 효과, 차단, 유출빈도 등을 확인할 수 있으며 토질학적 측면에서는 비탈면 침식, 토양침식, 사면 안정 등을 실험할 수 있다. 또한 환경적 측면에서는 오염 부하량, 토양 유실량, 토사유출, 유사 이동, 비점오염원 등을 실험 할 수 있다.

Studies on the Effects of Rice Plant on the Changes of Materials in Submerged Paddy Soils (수도재배(水稻栽培)가 답상태토양(畓狀態土壤)의 물질변화(物質變化)에 미치는 영향(影響)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究))

  • Many studies on the changes of the materials in the water-logged paddy soil have been reported, but there will be several problems to apply them on the field soil. The main differences between the method of soil packed in beaker or column tube to that of natural field furrow slice are with or without of the rice root and the effect of water percolation. On the other hand, the mechanism of the water percolation on the changes of material in the natural field furrow slice are gradually understood. The purpose of this experiment is to know the effect of the rice cultivation on the chemical and physical changes of material in the water-logged paddy soil. Obtained results are as follows. 1. The physical and chemical changes on the water-logged paddy soil in the non-planted control-plot were nearly the same as the beaker or column tube experiment, while in the planted plot, slightly altered patterns were observed. 2. The relation between the number of tillers and total cation, $Ca^{{+}{+}}$, $Mg^{{+}{+}}$, Fe and Mn in the leachate showed very high significance. T hisresult showed that the leaching of those cation was promoted by growing of the rice r- of the rice root. 3. On the other hand, the concentration of the potassium, silica and phosphorus in leachates was gradually decreased and that of $NH_4$-N could not detect after the stage of active tillering. These facts revealed that such components were absorbed by rice plant. 4. The highly significant correlation between the number of tillers and the concentration of the total cation, $Ca^{{+}{+}}$, $Mg^{{+}{+}}$, $Fe^{{+}{+}}$, Fe and Mn in the percolated water was observed except that of $Mg^{{+}{+}}$. It was also showed that the rice root promoted the leaching of those cation. 5. The very high significance in the correlation between $HCO_3{^-}$ and the number of tillers indicated that the higher activity of the rice root was, the more $HCO_3{^-}$ concentration in the leachate was increased. 6. The relationship between the $HCO_3{^-}$ and the total cation, $Ca^{{+}{+}}$, $Mg^{{+}{+}}$, $Fe^{{+}{+}}$, Fe and Mn was appeared very highly significant. $HCO_3{^-}$, the metabolite of the rice root, promoted the leaching of $Ca^{{+}{+}}$, $Mg^{{+}{+}}$, $Fe^{{+}{+}}$ and Mn. This fact might be a result that these cations were leached as the form of bicarbonate. 7. The iron in the leachate was the form of $Fe^{{+}{+}}$ and the correlation between $Fe^{{+}{+}}$ and $HCO_3{^-}$ was very highly significant. This result indicated that it seemed to be ferrous bicarbonate when it is leached out. 8. In the rhizosphere, ferrous iron was decreased gradually and the concentration of glucose was as high as 2 to 3 times in comparison with the other parts of the soil. These facts were the same as the previous reports in which rhizosphere was oxidized by the oxigen excreted from the root, and was enriched by the organic matter which was also excreted from the root and accumulated residues of the root. 9. ${\beta}$-Glucosidase and phosphatase activity in the rhizosphere was higher than that of the other parts of the soil. This facts might be attributed to the vigorous activity of microorganism in the rhizosphere where glucose concentration was high. 10. The pH in the leachate of the planted plot was lower than that of control, and the Eh on the planted soil was elevated in the last stage.

Improvement of Flood Forecasting System in the Nakdong River (낙동강홍수예보시스템 개선)

  • 홍수로 인한 국민의 재산과 인명피해를 방지 또는 최소화하기 위한 방법으로 주요지점을 선정하여 홍수예보를 수행하고 있다. 이러한 홍수예보는 초기 강우법, 수위법 등의 단순한 방법으로 수행되었으나, 컴퓨터가 발달되면서 여러 형태의 홍수유출모형이 개발되어 현재에는 홍수유출모형을 이용한 홍수예보를 수행하고 있다. 낙동강홍수예보 시스템은 1987년 낙동강홍수통제소의 개소시 42개소의 수위관측소와 54개소의 우량관측소를 중심으로 43개 소유역을 구분하고 티센망을 구성하여 홍수예보시스템을 구축하였다. 홍수예보시스템이 구축된 후 여러 차례의 매개변수 개선과정을 거쳐 운용하고 있다. 반면, 지속적인 수문관측소의 증설이 이루어졌으나 이를 모형에 반영하지 않아 증설된 수위관측소를 반영하여 114개 소유역으로 구분하고 추가된 우량관측소를 이용하여 티센망을 구성하였으며, 당초 반영되지 않았던 소규모댐을 모형에 추가하여 예측의 정확도를 재고하였다. 증설된 수문관측소를 모형에 반영과 함께 우량자료의 신뢰성 및 안정성을 확보하기 위한 우량관측소의 확장방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 수행한 낙동강홍수예보 시스템의 소유역을 114개로 나누고 기존의 유효우량산정법, 유역유출모형 하도유출모형의 매개변수를 전통적인 방법으로 재산정하여 홍수기에 적용한 결과 당초의 홍수예보시스템으로 예측한 결과보다 소유역의 적절하게 재구성하는 것으로도 예측의 정밀도가 개선되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나, 소유역의 수와 하도의 수가 증가하면서 발생하는 오차를 감소시킬 필요성이 있으며, 이는 지속적인 시스템의 운용을 통하여 모형구성을 개선함으로서 어느 정도 개선될 것으로 판단된다. 그밖에 기존의 매개변수산정을 전통적인 방법에서 우리나라 하천 또는 낙동강유역의 하천에 적당한 방법을 개발하여 개선시킬 필요성이 있다.>$4.3\%$로 가장 근접한 결과를 나타내었으며, 총 유출량에서도 각각 $7.8\%,\;13.2\%$의 오차율을 가지는 것으로 분석되어 타 모형에 비해 실유량과의 차가 가장 적은 것으로 모의되었다. 향후 도시유출을 모의하는 데 가장 근사한 유출량을 산정할 수 있는 근거가 될 것이며, 도시재해 저감대책을 수립하는데 기여할 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.로 판단되는 대안들을 제시하는 예비타당성(Prefeasibility) 계획을 수립하였다. 이렇게 제시된 계획은 향후 과학적인 분석(세부평가방법)을 통해 대안을 평가하고 구체적인 타당성(feasibility) 계획을 수립하는데 토대가 될 것이다.{0.11R(mm)}(r^2=0.69)$로 나타났다. 이는 토양의 투수특성에 따라 강우량 증가에 비례하여 점증하는 침투수와 구분되는 현상이었다. 경사와 토양이 같은 조건에서 나지의 경우 역시 $Ro_{B10}(mm)=20.3e^{0.08R(mm)(r^2=0.84)$로 지수적으로 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 유거수량은 토성별로 양토를 1.0으로 기준할 때 사양토가 0.86으로 가장 작았고, 식양토 1.09, 식토 1.15로 평가되어 침투수에 비해 토성별 차이가 크게 나타났다. 이는 토성이 세립질일 수록 유거수의 저항이 작기 때문으로 생각된다. 경사에 따라서는 경사도가 증가할수록 증가하였으며 $10\% 경사일 때를 기준으로 $Ro(mm)=Ro_{10}{\times}0.797{\times}e^{-0.021s(\%)}$로 나타났다.천성 승모판 폐쇄 부전등을 초래하는 심각한 선천성 심질환이다. 그러나 진단 즉시 직접 좌관상동맥-대동맥 이식술로 수술적 교정을 해줌으로써 좋은 성적을 기대할 수 있음을 보
