친환경 실내건축 연구 성향에 관한 조사 분석 연구 (A Basic Survey Study on the Research Tendency for Green Interior Architecture)

  • Including interior architecture, diverse fields of study for eco-friendly environment is in progress due to the world's crisis consciousness of global environment. And nevertheless, practical use of the research results are still low and systematical problems of the studies are inevitable reality. Thus, this study focused on to the enbodiment of green interior architecture study understanding the problems of precedence studies to make suggestion for the future direction and balancing green interior architecture study seeking for better motivation. Analysing results of the precedent studies indicates that the existing studies loss its diversity and concentrated in the narrow based directions. For the enbodiment of green interior architecture, not simply immerse existing planning method found from case study, the study need to perform in overall areas of green interior architecture and diversify its direction. Besides space designer, user's consciousness are also important results to form a new paradigm of eco-friendly environment. For the applications and use of the study results as the design factor in green interior architecture, first and the most important stept is to innovate attitude towards the nature and shift of consciousness through education as well as the relative studies of design and planning realm to drive both technical, and non-technical design factors are highly demanded.

  • As environmental issues have become a worldwide concern after the 20th century, the idea and the term of 'green growth development' has become familiar to the public. After 2008, the green growth development dramatically became an important ideology in Korea; thus industries, studies and product investments in relation are in active progress. Following the trend, the latter major unit of the middle school textbook "Technology & Home Economics" was named the revision of elementary, middle and high school textbooks in 2009. The learning goal of 'green' or 'eco-friendly' of the revised edition of the textbook will guide the middle school students to have better understanding of the issues of clothing habits and the environment. Furthermore, students will be able to apply the 'green' concepts in their real life and put eco-friendly clothing habits into action. Thus, the practice of effective learning will depend on the quality of the current issue of the textbook. Therefore this study analyzes the eco-friendly contents of the semi-unit from 7 different textbooks and presents an example of textbook production to the preliminary teacher of home economics.

소비자의 친환경 태도 및 인구통계적 특성에 따른 의복선택 기준의 특징 (The Clothing Selection Criteria according to Consumers' Eco-friendly Attitude and Demographic Characteristics)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the statistical differences and the correlation between eco-friendly attitudes and clothing selection criteria according to gender and age. 150 people in their 20s to 50s were surveyed for this study. The results were as follows. The factors to eco-friendly attitudes were drawn as seven factors. The difference analysis result for eco-friendly attitude according to gender and age showed a significant difference. The results of factor analysis showed that there were four factors in clothing selection criteria. The difference analysis result of clothing selection criteria according to gender showed a significant difference. The analysis results for the effect of eco-friendly attitude on clothing selection criteria showed that the eco-friendly group recognized health and eco-friendly property as more important clothing selection criteria, but the non-eco-friendly group recognized aesthetic as more important one. The result of this study will help product planners in the clothing product development and the market segmentation according to eco-friendly attitude.

국내 친환경 실내 마감재 및 제품의 전문잡지 광고지면 내용분석 연구 (Content Analysis of advertised Eco-interior Materials and Products in Domestic Interior Magazines)

  • The purpose of this study is to figure out the profiles of eco-friendly finishing materials and intoner products through content analysis on the advertisements of three domestic interior design magazines, which have been published for 4 years since 2002. The amount of advertisements has been continuously increasing due to the public concerns on well-being. Finishing material types absolutely took the greatest proportion (92.8%), while products such as furniture and household equipments were only 7.2% among the advertisements. Charcoal, natural jade, yellow soil and nano-silver were the frequently mentioned health-related components in the finishing material. Only 35.7% of the finishing materials hold certification on indoor air quality. Among the interior products, phytonchid in air cleaner was the only advertised component related to health. In conclusion, controlling pollutants of indoor air quality, such as HCHO, VOC, seems to be the big issue in both materials and products due to the concern of Sick Building Syndrome. However, more scientific and objective guidelines are necessary for consumers to live in healthy interior environment.

  • 수분산 폴리우레탄 수지는 기능성이 뛰어나고 다양한 용도로 쓰임이 많기 때문에, 용제형 폴리우레탄 수지를 이용한 환경문제에 대처할 수 있는 대안으로 그 쓰임이 점차 늘어나고 있다. 그러나 수분산 폴리우레탄 수지는 용제형 폴리우레탄 수지에 비해 물리적 특성이 떨어지는 단점이 있다. 그래서 우수한 물리적 특성을 유지하면서 용제형 폴리우레탄 수지를 대체할 수 있는 환경친화성 폴리우레탄 수지에 대한 연구가 많이 이뤄지고 있다. 최근 산업환경 변화에 순응하는 환경 친화적 소재를 사용하여 자동차, 선박, 철도 등 수송용 인테리어 내장재를 구성하는 기술로서, 난연성 및 기계적 물성 유지 기술, 그리고 실내 쾌적감을 부여하기 위한 감성기술 및 심미적 요소를 부여하는 디자인 기술이 가미된 복합 기능화 기술개발이 요구되고 있다. 기존의 자동차용 시트 제품의 대부분은 습식 PU와 PVC를 사용하고 있고, 제조과정에서 용제와 가소제 사용 등으로 인해 환경적으로 많은 문제점이 있으며, 이를 대체하기 위한 노력이 많은 부분에서 이루어지고 있지만, 마땅히 대체할 소재를 찾지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 Frothing 기법을 이용한 친환경 foam 제조기술은 기존의 습식 PU foam과 PVC foam을 대체할 수 있는 기술로서, PUD foam의 기계적 물성 및 가공성이 보완된다면 상업적 용도로 많은 분야에서 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

친환경 실외 놀이터 계획 요소에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Planning Elements for Eco-friendly Outdoor Playground)

  • Since Seoul city supplied 'Sangsang Children's Playground', domestic playgrounds are changing from formal facilities to creative play and learning space recently. From eco-friendly safe playground model development project, eco-friendly playground planning and its actual cases have been occasionally introduced. However, we could not know how well most playgrounds reflect eco-friendly features and whether they are eco-friendly or not because the definition about the concept of eco-friendly playground is inadequate and there are not the specific planning guidelines and evaluation standards for making the eco-friendly playground. Therefore, the development of guidelines for the construction of eco-friendly playground is required and evaluation guidelines for them should be made for the active dissemination of the actual eco-friendly playground and the proper construction of the eco-friendly playground. In this study, we defined the concept of eco-friendly outdoor playground and presented the types and characteristics of the playground based on the concept and suggested basic plan guidelines based on the existing requirements for becoming eco-friendly playground. For this purpose, we checked the plan's common points in the existing playground configuration requirements, installation standards, regulations, and safety standards, and offered the planning elements and guidelines through the analysis of outdoor space evaluation standard in eco-friendly safe playground guidelines and eco-friendly building certification system.

친환경 소재 케나프(Kenaf)를 활용한 실내복 디자인 개발 (Development of House Dress Design Using Kenaf, an Eco-friendly Material)

  • This study was intended to develop some lounge wear ensembles of emotional design by using an eco-friendly material, Kenaf fabrics in line with the contemporary trend of valuing health and environment. With market survey on commercially available indoor clothing ensembles in the market, the designs of lounge wear ensembles being on sale via on/off-line routes were analyzed. Provided by Korea High Tech Textile Research Institute, Kenaf fabrics were employed to make 4 pieces of lounge wear for women (cardigan, T-shirt, slacks, vest) and 4 ones for toddlers. In addition, some housewives in their thirties or forties who lived in Seoul were asked to respond to a series of questionnaires concerning the prototypes made directly in order to evaluate consumer satisfaction with them. Although the consumer awareness of Kenaf fabrics is very low as far, this attempt to present the designs of lounge wear made of Kenaf to young housewives who have a lot of concern for and purchase experiences of eco-friendly materials is meaningful in the light of the possibility to popularize Kenaf which is not familiar as a textile material yet.

현대 패션 브랜드에 나타난 친환경 경향 연구 (A Study on Eco-friendly Tendency in Contemporary Fashion Brand)

  • Global warming started as the scientific problem in 20th century is being highlighted as the environmental issue with the conclusion of convention on climate change. It has great influence in all aspects of nature, especially 'Eco-friendly design' that takes not only health life of present but also affluent life in the future into consideration became an inevitable trend in almost all industries including the apparel and distribution industry worldwide. Therefore, this study is an eco-friendly tendency in fashion that are hot issue in the world and focused on advertisement and collection since 2000. The aim of this is to classify eco-friendly fashion design study presented in contemporary fashion brand. In result, it was analyzed fourth tendencies as follows : eco-friendly tendency with organic material, upgradation of recycle fashion, green campaign and well-being LOHAS fashion. In this aspect, eco-friendly tendency that is expanded to overall society, culture and living shows in present.

우리나라 영유아 보육시설의 친환경 실내를 위한 체크리스트와 디자인안 제안 (Checklist and Design Recommendations for the Interiors of Korean, Eco-healthy Childcare Facilities)

  • As children are known to touch and chew everything, green cleaning procedures are an important step in preventing children from ingesting harmful toxins. The objectives of this study are to develop a new, self-evaluation checklist and to suggest design recommendations which comply with easy, adaptable, economical ways to improve the eco-friendly indoor environment of Korean childcare facilities. The information compiled during this study was collected through literature review and internet surveys1) from July, 2009 to February, 2010. The results of this study show that the current Korean childcare accreditation system and practices emphasize clean building interiors, policies for sanitation and cleanliness, and control of humidity and lighting. On the other hand, the information provided by green-building rating systems from GBCC, LEED, and GBTool offers additional and comparative details regarding indoor environment quality and standards regarding the IAQ performance and management plan, ventilation and thermal comfort systems, views from windows, acoustics, and lighting. In conclusion, this document provides an appropriate and easy-to-follow, self-evaluation checklist composed of eight criteria and 51 practical items. This study also provides the design recommendations composed of 27 practical ideas focusing on interior elements. Both the checklist and design recommendations I have suggested can be a post-occupancy tool for evaluating eco-healthy facility standards as well as tips for continuing to maintain eco-healthy childcare facilities.

소비자 혁신성과 노스탤지어 성향에 따른 패션상품 구매기준, 패션정보원 활용, 패스트 패션상품과 친환경 패션상품에 대한 태도 특성 (Fashion product purchase criteria, fashion information sources, and attitudes toward eco-friendly and fast fashion products based on consumer innovativeness and nostalgia)

  • The objectives of this study are (1) to classify fashion consumers based on innovativeness and nostalgia and (2) to explore the differences in product purchase criteria, fashion information sources, and attitudes toward eco-friendly and fast fashion products among the identified groups of consumers. A total of 327 respondents were clustered into four distinct groups: (1) high innovativeness and low nostalgia, (2) high innovativeness and high nostalgia, (3) low innovativeness and high nostalgia, and (4) low innovativeness and low nostalgia. The four groups showed significant differences in the purchase criteria of quality, design, and brands and no difference in the criteria of functionality and washing methods. The four groups preferred different sources of fashion information: fashion magazines, people in the street, and salespeople, but did not differ in terms of social networking services (SNS) and in-store displays. While the four groups had significantly different attitudes toward eco-friendly fashion products, they did not show differences in attitudes toward fast fashion products, excluding usefulness. These meaningful results provide guidelines for developing more effective merchandising strategies for both eco-friendly and fast fashion products.
