생태전시관의 친환경 공간 이미지에 관한 연구 - 어휘평가를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Eco-Friendly Spatial Images of Ecological Museum - Focus on the Vocabulary Evaluation -)

  • After The Ramsar Convention took place in Korea in 2008, public interest in environment heightened, and the government has been allocating its budget for conserving our environment. Therefore, the present study focuses on eco-friendly spatial images particularly shown in ecological museums in Korea which recognizes the value of the environment and the ecology and tries to both protect them and alert people about it. The purpose of this study is proving what consist of eco-friendly spatial images by analyzing the expressive word of eco-friendly images and the image of space, providing a basic data for future space planning of ecological museums. To do this, the present study proceeds in three steps. First of all, the base of research in analyzing stage is firmly established by grasping general theories and terms regarding spatial image. As a second step, the composition and the characteristics of exhibition is clarified through on-spot investigation to provide comparative data for spatial image assessment in the future. Also through this step, we could understand how the exhibits are designed currently. In the last stage of research, expressive words regarding eco-friendly spatial images are extracted and used to analyze the spatial image of ecological museums. And the following three conclusions is deduced. First, the expressive words of eco-friendly spatial image that are extracted are as following: "healthy", "coexisting", "clean", "blending", "warm", "soft", "lively", "pure", "cool", "fresh ", "comfortable", "relaxed", "mild", "free", "harmonious", and "healing". As the second conclusion, color, and material, the formation which is an architectural factor did not have a great impact on forming eco-friendly image, but the color and the material did. The third conclusion was that the display with natural aspects actively utilized increased eco-friendly spatial image.

Passive Design Elements in the Architectural Planning of the Public Libraries - Focusing on the Comparison between Site and Building in the G-SEED Pre-certified and Non-certified library -

  • Purpose: The definition and factors of passive design being the sustainable method of building plan through the preceding research is deducted and the effect of passive design within the public library by applying the deducted factors in the case of built public libraries and further the realization plan of green library aimed to be reviewed in this research. Method: This study is to induce common elements of architecture plan for public library and passive design, and assess application level of re-classified elements of sustainable public library in order to analyze present condition of passive design applied on facilities of public library. First, related laws and planning standards of public library will be reviewed, then the definition of passive design will be considered using advanced research. Through advanced research related to planing elements and passive design for library induced from various plans for library standards, a common ground of induced passive design element will be transformed into assessment items and practices to be analyzed. Result: Libraries which are and are not preliminarily certified by G-SEED will be compared with each other in order to analyze the effects of passive design on G-SEED. Even though various passive elements such as load reduction of air conditioning and energy efficiency exist, there are no assessment tool within G-SEED. The fact that there are only standards for temporary methods such as utilization of construction material and installation of equipment highlights the challenges in quantitative evaluation.

친환경 모바일 홈 사우나 디자인 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design Development of Environment-friendly Mobile Home Sauna)

  • The appeal of sauna is caused by the fact that through that, one can feel Korea's unique temperament and culture; however, because of its being a public facility and flooding of businesses due to excessive supplies of various additional features such as washing, playing, eating, sleeping and health care functions, issues of social resources and environment come to the fore, so it has reached a situation of red ocean that it is difficult to enter the market anymore. Taking these into account, this study focused on developing a thermal technology and design of the housing of an environment-friendly mobile home sauna, making the most use of the sauna's fundamental purpose and settling it as a tourist product, analyzing the marketing research on the existing sauna and considering the recent housing trends and lifestyles for a new concept sauna. Thus, regarding its characteristics and utilization, it was designed smaller than $10m^2$ (3 pyeong) so that it would be easy to install in any space and convenient to move. It can be installed in separate buildings and rest spaces such as country houses, resorts, pensions, camping grounds as well as outdoor houses, custom produced for a measure of pyeong that customers want so as to match up with the Enforcement Ordinance of the Agricultural Land Act in a concept of the farmer's hut and kitchen, bathroom and bathroom can be installed inside according to an option. In addition, regarding its efficacy, in order to give environment-friendly healing effects, materials such as Hinoki Cypress, red clay and hardwood charcoal were used, a fixed indoor temperature of $70{\sim}100^{\circ}C$ was maintained by heating methods such as electromagnetic wave free, energy saving and low-power boiler, and it was made to have excellent effects on fatigue recovery, relieving stress, skin care and diet through far-infrared emission.

친환경 목재가로등의 디자인 및 제조특성 (Design and Manufacturing Characteristics of Eco-Friendly Wood Street Lamp)

  • This study was carried out to develop eco-friendly wood street lamp (EFWSL) by using wood resources stacked in the forests after tree tending operations which were mostly abandoned, but economical as renewable wood resources for developing the wood coated street lamps with the effects of cost reduction and their attractive appearances. This study has led to the development of key compact structures of street-lighting wood poles (shaft) using laminated timber. The core technique in this study is related with producing the more stable wood poles (shaft) with the hole inside than wood poles exposed under the natural environment through applicable process to protect the wood from bursting and splitting. We also comprehensively developed the method to conserve the timber durability of wood shaft and connect the wood shaft with groove, race way to be located in the groove, locking ring, current stabilizer connected to the groove and luminaire support arm, base and hand-hole which was partly used in combination with steel materials and wood. Also we increased the utilization of abandoned and stacked woods after thinning in the forests such as Pinus densiflora, Larix leptolepis, and Pinus koraiensis plantations by maximizing the value of these natural wood resources as main materials of eco-friendly street lightings with the effects of cost reduction and attractive appearances and also the expectation of advertising effects of street lightings developed in this study.

천연염색전문 인터넷 쇼핑몰 현황 및 상품 분석 (Analysis of the Conditions and Products of Natural Dyeing Internet Shopping Malls)

  • This study analyzes the conditions and products of internet shopping malls that sell natural dyeing products. In this study, 98 natural dyeing internet shopping malls were selected. The results of this study are as follows. The locations of the internet shopping malls were Gyeonggi-do, Seoul, Jeollanam-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gwang-ju (city), Daegu (city), Busan (city), Gyeongsangnam-do, and Jeju-do. The most frequent dyes of the natural dyeing products were loess, followed by charcoal, indigo, and persimmon. Indigo was most frequently used in Seoul, with loess and charcoal most frequent in Gyeonggi-do. Persimmon, indigo, loess, and charcoal were mainly used in Jeollanam-do, with persimmon and loess in the Gyeongsangbuk-do, and persimmon in Jeju-do. The highest ordered product categories were accessories, followed by adult clothing, interior decoration products, and bedding. The most frequent products were bedclothes, followed by scarves, female shirts, blouses, pillows, female jackets, and vests. Regarding the price of products, 150,000-200,000 won was the highest for the Saenghwal Hanbok, with 10,000-30,000 won for underwear, 30,000-60,000 won for accessories, and 100,000-150,000 won for bedding. Concerning product information, 58.2% of internet shopping malls offer the product size and almost half of them did not show the properties or directions for handling the product. Based on the research results, the problems of the conditions and products of natural dyeing internet shopping mall were derived. The results show that the natural dyes of internet shopping malls lacked regional symbolism, the products were not specialized, and product information was not fully offered to consumers. To solve these problems, the strategies for marketing the promotion of the natural dyeing internet shopping mall were, ‘Using natural dyes from local resources’, ‘Market oriented and specialized item design’, and ‘Offer right product information’.

국내외 기업의 멸종 위기 동물 보호 캠페인 사례 연구 (A Case Study on the Protection of Endangered Species Campaign in Domestic and Foreign Companies)

  • 본 연구는 국내외 기업의 멸종 위기 동물 보호 캠페인 사례를 분석하고 개선점과 방향성을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 따라서 본고에서는 중소기업 이상의 국내와 해외 기업을 연구 대상으로 설정하여, 멸종 위기 동물 보호 캠페인 사례와 특징을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 국내에는 규모가 큰 환경 보호 단체와 협력하여 진행하는 프로젝트 중심의 캠페인이 주류를 이루었고, IT 강국답게 통신사와 전자 브랜드의 캠페인 사례를 찾아볼 수 있었다. 해외 기업의 경우 브랜드가 독립적으로 환경 보호에 참여하고, 패션이나 코스메틱 브랜드 캠페인 사례가 쉽게 눈에 띄었다. 본 연구는 이러한 특징을 바탕으로 앞으로 동물 보호 캠페인의 개선점과 나아갈 방향을 제시해보고자 한다.

김환기 회화를 응용한 에코티셔츠의 모티브 디자인 개발 (Eco T-shirt designs inspired by paintings of Whan-ki Kim)

  • Eco T-shirts have become a part of environmental campaigns following social trends toward eco-friendly designs. With the demand for such designs expected to grow, there has arisen a need for higher product variety. In the past, eco T-shirts were designed to convey messages about the protection of nature through the use of environmentally friendly text or images. However, in order to respond to the preferences and emotional needs of Koreans, designs should cater to their characteristics and tastes. To this end, this study used a Whan-ki Kim-inspired motif to develop an eco-friendly design tailored to Korean perspectives. It is believed that this process can not only result in a distinctive eco T-shirt design, but also make it globally competitive. With regard to research methodology, a total of 41 paintings of Whan-ki Kim were analyzed and classified into four major themes or key values expressed in modern eco-friendly fashion designs: naturalness, indigenousness, harmony between nature and man, and harmony between natural and artificial beauty. Employing a wide range of CAD techniques and varying forms, the themes were developed into 28 T-shirt designs after their forms, tones, and textures were fully explored. This study demonstrates the possibility of designing creative, aesthetic, and high value-added eco T-shirts through motif development. In addition, it successfully integrates Korean paintings in the development of T-shirt designs aimed at communicating environmentally friendly messages.

현대건축에서 나타나는 복합적 외피의 표현적 특성에 관한 연구 - 헤르조그 & 드 뮤론의 건축물을 중심으로 - (The Study on the Expressive Characteristics of Complex Surface in Contemporary Architecture - focused on of Herzog & de Meuron's Architecture -)

  • The first visual contact in architecture happens in surface, and it could be significant object as well as the starting point to recognize the essence and perceive the buildings. Architecture surface could not get out of the restriction of structures and materials that support buildings for a long time in the past. Architecture surface in the past should fulfill the structural role to form are appearance of buildings and support buildings at the same time, so it was difficult to get out of logic for material and thickness of walls, arrangements and sizes of windows. However, since the modern age, architecture surface came to be freer according to the development of building technology, and development of technology changes shows tendencies to express role of new design factor as an architectural element emphasized expression and autonomy,s which was escaped from the subordinate relationship that the surface of building must do the structural function. In this study, it would be examined the expressive characteristics of various epidermis that are expressed in architecture of Herzog & de Meuron since the end of 20thcentury focused on comprehended and analyzed results of changes and characteristics of contemporary society. Through this, it would be comprehended the epidermis of architecture that has particular character expressed in modern buildings of Herzog & de Meuron, and it would be composed a certain linkage between this and characteristics of contemporary society and it would be investigated that the establishing process of inner spaces. Identification through case analysis for this would perform a role of catalyst for the new possibility and development of contemporary architecture's surface expression in the future.

소셜 빅데이터 기반 융합연구 동향 분석 (Trend Analysis of Convergence Research based on Social Big Data)

  • 본 연구는 4차 산업혁명과 함께 학제간 융합연구의 중요성이 부각되는 시점에서 소셜미디어 빅데이터 분석을 통하여 학술적 연구를 넘어 융합연구 전반에 대한 동향을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 텍스트마이닝 기법을 활용하여 소셜미디어에서 융합연구와 관련하여 2009년 1월부터 2018년 9월까지 약 10년간 게시된 글과 제목 등 약 150,000건을 수집하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 기간별로 워드클라우드와 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 각 기간별로 활발하게 진행된 연구분야는 2009년과 2010년에는 친환경, 2011년과 2012년에는 스마트, 2013년과 2014년에는 정보통신, 2015년과 2016년에는 로봇, 2017년과 2018년에는 인공지능이다. 또한 약 10년간 지속적으로 수행되고 있는 연구분야는 문화, 디자인, 화학, 나노, 바이오, 로봇, IT, 정보통신이다. 본 연구에서는 기간별 융합연구 동향을 파악하므로 써, 융합연구를 기획하고 있는 연구자들에게 연구방향을 설정하는데 있어 도움이 될 수 있다.

도시환경 개선을 위한 공공장소의 수직정원 필요성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Necessity of Vertical Garden in Public Places for Urban Environment Improvement)

  • (연구배경 및 목적)도시 발전은 친환경 산업 분야에도 큰 영향을 미치게 되었다. 공공 장소환경에서 시민들은 여러 분야에서 스트레스를 받고 있어 진정으로 자연 생태 환경이 필요하게 되었다. 따라서 건물 내부의 도시환경 공간을 식물과 함께 호흡하는 친환경적인 도시공공 시설로의 환경개선이 필요하다. 이를 위해 수직정원을 통해 도시환경개선을 이룰 수 있음을 보여주고 이를 통해 수직정원 대중화에 기여하고자 한다. (연구방법) 이를 위해 현재 도시의 공공장소 환경의 문제점을 분석하고, 그 문제점 보완을 수직정원을 중심으로 살펴볼 것이다. (연구결과) 도시의 공공장소환경에 대한 연구 결과 우울한 환경, 열악한 공간 활용, 희미한 색상, 열악한 공기 질 등의 문제점을 발견했고 이를 보완하기 위해 수직정원을 조성하여 쾌적한 쉼터를 제공하고자 했다. 이러한 수직정원은 도시공공장소에 심미성 개선, 사회 가치 증가, 건물의 단열 및 방음 효과, 도시 열섬 효과 감소, 도시 녹색 환경 증가 등의 영향을 가져왔다. (결론) 본 연구는 공공 장소공간에서 수직정원을 이용하여 더욱 쾌적하고 정신건강과 신체적인 건강을 함께 공유하는 공공장소공간을 디자인하는 것이다.
