This study attempts to analyze the spatial characteristics of organic agriculture in Korea during the period of 2000~2010, focusing on women's labor contribution to agricultural operations. Spatial distribution and concentration of organic farming have been investigated using Location Quotient(LQ) and Local Indicator of Spatial Association(LISA), it was found that the specialized organic farmland in the Seoul Metropolitan area has decreased significantly over the past decade, while in Chungnam and Kyungpook province it has been rapid growth in the same period. Multilinear regression analysis was also carried out to find out whether the spatial clusters in organic farming depends on women farmers. Results describing the correlation between organic farming and women farmers within identified clusters suggest that the possibility of the transition towards sustainable agriculture and farmland restructuring in Korea, by women.

This study aims to indicate the spatial characteristics of the changes in the Korean farm land. In particular, we analyze the spatial diffusion patterns of organic farms increasing rapidly with the growth in the agricultural product markets as well as the demand for safe food and sustainable growth. For the purpose, we examine the changes in the distribution patterns of organic farms between year 2000 and 2005. We analyze the agglomeration pattern by Location Quotient (LQ) and Local indicator of spatial association (LISA). Organic farms have been spread out from the outscuirts of Seoul, the capital city, to the traditional agriculture spetilized area in the southern parts of the nation. In order to analyze the relationships between organic farm distribution and the geographical variables affecting the organic farming, we develop multivariate regression models. Our findings indicate that organic farming is related with the number of agriculture-based business and information technique adaptation as well as the level of education and farmers age.

Thus this study carry out environment-friendly factors in domestic and foreign domed stadiums through the case studies. And these are divided into 3 parts; energy, indoor environment and material & resource. Also this study analyzed environment-friendly factor application characteristics which is related its space size and climate.

While many assessment systems for buildings and indoor environment have been created with increasing interest in sustainable development, assessments for sustainable landscaping and outdoor environments have received less attention. Recently, the Sustainable Site Initiatives(SITES) was developed in the USA in order to evaluate and certify sustainable landscape design projects. The purposes of this study are to analyze sustainable landscape strategies and to review the certification system through case studies of SITES certified projects. Three certified projects in Texas were selected and literature review, site visits and interview were conducted. The results indicated that various sustainable and practical strategies were applied including soil preservation, use of native plants and recycled materials, and water harvesting. Also, SITES has benefits to encourage an integrated design process, community participation, and environmental education for the public. This suggests that a certification system for landscaping and outdoor environments needs to be developed to ensure sustainable site development, which helps extend the roles of the landscape architecture profession in sustainable design.

This paper is to draw basic data for the revitalization of the sustainable buildings and the improvement of sustainable building design technology in Korea by analysing the design techniques of sustainable building and the application of the techniques applied to the large volume buildings through the study of foreign cases. This study introduces the design elements of sustainable building applied to the two winter sports stadia and one convention centre which have recently completed for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Canada and analyses the design techniques of sustainable building by the lists of LEED Green Building Rating System as well.

국토해양부(장관 정종환)는 최근 연세대 친환경건축연구센터와 서울시 강동구가 협의('09.8)를 통해 친환경 공동주택 가이드라인을 마련함에 따라 강동구부터 '저에너지 친환경 공동주택 가이드라인' 시행에 들어 간다고 밝혔다. 가이드라인의 주요내용은 공동주택 재건축시 냉 난방 에너지 총 소비량의 40% 이상을 절감하고, 관리동 등 공용시설의 제로에너지화, 지역특성에 맞게 생태면적률 40%이상 확보, 단지내 인공생물 서식공간 조성의 의무화 등이다. 강동구는 앞으로 지어지는 재건축정비사업의 공동주택 모두에 가이드라인 내용을 반영하여 친환경 공동 주택으로 건설을 추진할 계획이며, 특히 고덕지구($1,239,407m^2$, 18,540가구) 및 둔촌지구($626,235m^2$, 9,090가구)부터 적용하여 친환경공동주택단지를 조성할 전망이다.

This paper, the shielding material is suggested using by the korean paper, lacquer, and charcoal those can be used more eco-friendly materials for the interior design. Also, it is designed the image-wall for improving of the electromagnetic shielding and the beauty. Suggested shielding material is manufactured with the thickness of 2 mm by the printing method of the lacquer and charcoal on the korean paper. This material has the shielding effectiveness over 95% until 2 GHz. The application for the interior design using more eco-friendly material can be reduced the effect of electromagnetic wave and the chemical substances like as the formaldehyde and the volatile organic compound (VOC).

본 논문에서는 한국의 신도시를 비롯해서 일본과 유럽의 신도시를 사례로 선정하여 그 주거단지들에서 찾을 수 있는 친환경적인 요소를 중심으로 비교분석하였다. 친환경 주거단지란 지구환경을 보전하고자 하는 생각에서 시작되어 지구환경의 보전과 주변 환경과의 친화를 목적으로 거주자들이 자연환경과 어울려 쾌적하게 생활할 수 있도록 하는 단지환경을 말한다. 이 논문에서는 친환경 요소를 중심으로 사례들을 비교 분석하여 해외 사례의 친환경 단지로서의 시사점을 찾고 한국의 분당과 판교 신도시에 대한 문제점을 고찰하고자한다.

한국토지주택공사(LH)가 지난해 11월 서울시 강남구 자곡동 보금자리지구에 개관한 'The Green'관은 주택의 에너지 성능 검증 및 발전 등을 위해 에너지절약, 친환경, 재활용, 공간가변 등 총 60여가지의 신기술을 전시 체험할 수 있도록 해 주목받았다. 분야별로는 에너지제로 관련 33가지, 친환경 재활용 7가지, 공간가변 9가지, 그린IT 12가지 등이다. 본지는 The Green관의 전시 개요 및 기술들에 대해 간략히 소개한다.
