  • The construction of golf courses has had adverse effects on the natural landscape and delicate ecosystem of Korea. Efficiency in planning and design was necessary to minimize the environmental impact of the original construction. However, the ordinal design methods have limited the data processing by the massive scale of the project of golf course development. Conventional design methods did not have a proper tool for alternative plans on pre-estimation of landscape destruction or minimizing of the environmental impact. Therefore, advanced computerized techniques need to be adapted for golf course design to solve the problems concerning the environmental impacts. Geographic information system (GIS) was applied on the process of geographical data input and analysis through the final outputs. Simulation works by the total database management enable the pre-investigation of the design In view of an assessment of environmental impacts. It is also possible to evaluate plans easily and propose the alternatives properly. Precise quantity calculation of engineering works by computer system should be guaranteed scientific, economic, and environmentally-sound.

  • In this study, we developed a cooling system for 1 ton size refrigeration vehicle using carbon dioxide natural refrigerant among hydrocarbon type refrigerant which is attracting attention as environment friendly refrigerant, and designed a heat exchanger and a unit cooler to raise COP. In addition, existing CNG 5 ton refrigerated trucks were converted into LNG vehicles to increase the efficiency of the cooling system and ensure safety against CNG. As a result, environmentally friendly refrigerated trucks using natural refrigerants of 1 ton and 5 ton sizes were developed.

  • Concentration of people in urban areas and development around Metro make exceed the passenger number which was calculated when the Metro station was built, in the result the Metro stations are crowed this is the study on the improvement of Metro station's congestion in urban areas for ensuring the passenger safety, the space of evacuation path and promoting the more pleasant riding environment with an environmental- friendly approach.

  • 현재 산업사회의 발달과 더불어 신뢰성 높은 양질의 전기에너지와 운전 및 보수의 간편화, 계통운용의 신뢰성의 확보가 요구되고 있다. 또한 $SF_6$을 대체할 친환경적인 절연매체의 개발이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 모의 GIS내 친환경적인 절연재료인 질소($N_2$)와 산소($O_2$)의 혼합가스($N_2:O_2=79:21$, $N_2:O_2=60:40$, $N_2:O_2=40:60$)과 Dry-Air 기본적인 절연 특성을 밝혀, 각종 전력응용 설비의 절연매체로 사용가능함을 구명하고저 한다.

  • 보도포장의 경우 친환경적인 소재의 활용과 더불어 폐자원을 활용한 다양한 포장 기술에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본문에서는 기능성 보도포장의 국내 개발 동향 및 폐자원을 활용한 보도포장의 특허 동향에 대하여 살펴보고 최근 개발되고 있는 폐목재를 잘게 부순 목재 칩을 활용한 보도포장의 개발 동향을 고찰하였다. 특히 폐목재를 활용한 목질계 보도포장은 보행시 쾌적함과 자연친화적인 관광자원형 포장재로서의 개발이 활발히 진행할 필요가 있는 것으로 판단된다.

  • Ecotourism is an alternative tourism which can be defined as responsible tourism in natural areas. This study deals with changing the tourists' environmental attitudes of ecotourism activities based on the elaboration likelihood model(ELM). The surveys were conducted based on the same participants to clearly measure the differences of environmental attitudes between pre and post-participation ecotourism activities. A total of 183 samples were collected in Upo Wetlands. The results showed that there were significant differences in the tourists' environmental attitudes between pre and post-participation ecotourism activities. This indicates that ecotourism participants delicately reinforce their eco-friendly attitudes through various ecotourism experiences and educational programs. The most significant finding is that anti-environmental behavior can be relieved with eco-friendliness through participation in ecotourism.
