지난 9월 29일 서초구 소재 서울교육문화회관에서 농장동물 복지정책 토론회를 개최하였다. 이날 농가 및 관련종사자 100여명이 참석하여 앞으로 실시될 농장동물 복지제도에 대한 많은 관심을 보였다. 이날 토론회는 동물복지 축산농장 인증제 추진과 관련한 전문가 주제 발표, 동물복지 축산농장 인증제 추진방안 및 농가 참여 확대 방안, 동물복지형 축산물 표시제 도입 및 유통 판매처 확보 방안, 소비자 인지도 제고 등 동물복지형 축산물 소비기반 마련 방안, 기타 국내 동물복지제도 정착 및 발전을 위한 토론으로 구성되어 진행되었으며 친환경 농장 경영과 동물복지(전남대학교 조광호 교수), 동물복지 축산농장 인증제 운영 방안(농림수산검역검사본부 동물보호과 한종현 과장), 동물복지 인증과 해외사례(국립축산과학원 축산환경과 유용희 과장)에 대한 발표가 있었으며 건국대학교 이상락 교수가 좌장을 맡은 가운데 본회 안영기 부회장, 동물자유연대 조희경 대표, 전남대학교 조광호 교수, 농림수산식품부 안유영 사무관, 농림수산검역검사본부 한종현 과장, 국립축산과원 유용희 과장, 대한양돈협회 이병석 차장이 토론자로 나섰다. 본고는 이날 발표내용 및 토론내용을 요약, 정리 하였다.

선모자연농원(대표 양승덕)은 지난 2006년 3월 10일 우리 시대에 맞는 친환경 생산물을 이용해 무항생제, 항산화제로 소비자에게 깨끗하고 신선한 계란을 공급하고자 3년간의 지속적인 연구 끝에 흑운모와 녹차를 함유한 유정란의 품질인증을 받았고, 현재 특허등록을 위해 출원한 상태이다.(출원번호 40-2006-0012500). 양승덕 사장은 흑운모가 황토와 맥반석보다 약 3배 이상 원적외선 방사율(94%)이 높으며 게르마늄 함유량이 36ppm에 이르는 생명의 돌로서 예전부터 흑운모석을 약돌이라 부른 것에 착안하여 산란계에도 흑운모 분말을 배합한 사료를 급여하였다. 본고는 웰빙시대에 걸 맞는 흑운모, 녹차의 기능과 이를 이용해 국내에서 어렵게 생산한 "흑운모 · 녹차유정란"의 특성을 살려 생산하는 현장을 취재하였다.

In order to prepare future green hospital architecture authentication system, this study is a comparative year report to Korean, the United States, Japanese, British, Canadian and Australian green building authentication systems. Also, the United States and Australian Green hospital authentication systems were examined, and the authentication items of hospitals were compared with those of civil architecture. Though the examination and analysis, the portion of indoor environmental quality section commonly shows the average of 20.7 percent in all 6 countries. Especially, IAQ(Indoor Air Quality) among inside IEQ(Indoor Environment Quality) is overwhelmingly much treated in Korea, the U.S.A, Canada and Australia. In Japan, heat, light and sound are the important factors for authentication evaluation, while in the U.K light are more emphasized for the authentication. 'LEED for Healthcare' as a hospital evaluation authentication system subdivided currently most. The system includes the detailed and extensive evaluation items ranging from hospital management, traffic, emission, water resources utilization to integrated design and furnishing. These overseas systems should be carefully investigated, researched and analyzed for an appropriate improvement of domestic green hospital authentication system. Also the current evaluation method of IEQ section of Korean GBCC needs to be modified. That's why the method puts too much importance on IAQ in IEQ section.

With an awareness of the fact that influence of building industry on the environment problems is great, many countries have been endeavoring to construct sustainable and environmentally-friendly buildings. In Korea, the GBCS (Green Building Certification System) has been in force since 2002. Total 6 types of buildings are dealt in the GBCS. Especially, it is expected that the number of apartment complexes, which are the most common type of residences in Korea, applying for GBCS has increased continuously. In this study, we aim to pick out the items requiring improvement for the green apartment complex. Existing 12 certified apartment complexes were selected. GBCS assessment results and actual conditions of design and construction were investigated and analyzed. Total 18 items requiring improvement were picked out in accordance with the average score-to-allotted point ratio. Relevant particulars expected to be helpful for the next design works were also presented.

In green building certificated housing complex, although various planning factors in terms of 'Energy resource and Environmental impact' were adopted, the residents' consciousness for their economical and psycholgical effect has not been found. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to find out the usability of environment-friendly factors, with regard to the aspects of 'energy resource and environment impact' and residents, consciousness for them in order to provide the useful information to design the user-oriented green building house complex better than previous ones. the finding were summarized as follows: 1)Increasing awareness of 'green building certificated housing complex', Resident should feel contribution to the environment. 2)When mass housing planning, the development of sensible certification is required. 3)Green building certificated housing complex should change from 'certification for the Financial compensation' to 'certification for the Contribution to the environment'.

Recently, the housing market in Korea has been changed from new construction to building-stocks, and focusing on supplier to focusing on users. Open housing is a design method not only content to users' various needs but also to the means of sustainable development by adapted to longevity of buildings. There are some indicators for Open Housing related to Green Building Certification Criteria which were worked by Mock & ME. But those indicators are limited to flexible design methods. This is a basic study for the selecting of Open Housing indicators for complementation of Green Building Certification Criteria by the analysis of SI housing in Japan, domestic Green Building Labelling and those of other countries.

This paper is to provide problems and changes to be don Korean Green Building Certification Criteria, which are similar to American Leed certification and Japanese CASBBE, reorganizing and comparing those systems with domestic system. Normally, those certification program is very similar, but have some differences in the view to the site and environment chapter. That difference will be change to the right way that protect the nature states of the environment. Therefore, this study is going to base data to first step of the process for modify the differency problem.

In many countries, methods to evaluate buildings have been investigated and practiced in order to reduce energy use and search for sustainable architecture while providing comfortable space for the users, in Korea, the current certification system has a short history, and has been improved for better practicability. Among many different factors in the certification system, the water resource problem is an important as the demand has been sharply increasing while reckless use and sewage treatment system causes the reduction of usable water. This study aims to find problems of water usage in building. water resource in the current certification will be used for the analysis of each factor in water resource, and the direction of improvement required in the certification in order to improve the water usage in buildigns will be proposed.

The purpose of this paper was to examine the management of Environmentally Friendly Planning Features(EFPF) in condominium with Green Building Certification(GBC). A questionnaire survey was conducted among management office staff and residents on six housing estates in Seoul. The data from 200 respondents were analysed using descriptive statistics and t-tests. The main findings were as followings : 1) Most of the staffs considered that garbage collection and recycling, and green spaces were well-managed. 2) The residents indicated that garbage collection and recycling, and green spaces were properly handled, but they failed to recognize these as EFPF. 3) Residency duration was unrelated to the residents' perceptions of the EFPF and their management. In conclusion, neither the residents nor the staff were aware of the GBC system or that their housing estates were built using EFPF. To remedy this, it can be assumed the residents' lack of appreciation of the EFPF can be resolved if they participate in the management of these features. So the residents will need education, and the management staff will require professional training.
