Objectives: This study identified problems and improvements in projects targeted to dental workers in a child-adolescent dental care service. Methods: The subjects were 40 dentists, 43 dental hygienists, and 51 others who participated in service in Seoul. A self-administered questionnaire was used to address the problems and improvements in the project. Descriptive statistics, chi-square test, and one-way analysis of variance were performed using SPSS 23.0. Results: Oral examination was performed by 99.2% of dentists, and some service items such as professional tooth cleaning, fluoride application, and scaling were performed by dental auxiliary personnel regardless of legal duties. The problem was that the subjects took a lot of time in providing services, and students or guardians participating in the project refused to receive preventive dental services. As regards improvements, the insurance fee was the highest (48.1%), followed by the provision of regular services (38.8%), and system improvement and administrative support (35.7%). Conclusions: To activate a child-adolescent dental care service, it is thought that continuous efforts such as providing financial support by the government, education to increase participants' understanding, and social consensus for the participation of service providers and beneficiaries are required.

Objectives: This was carried out to develop an integrated care convergence curriculum. Methods: An online survey was conducted on 312 public health college students, and frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and chi-square test were conducted. Results: Awareness of convergence education (2.55) and experience of convergence education (10.3%) were low, but those with education experience had high awareness of integrated care and convergence education (p<0.001). The need for education (3.07) and manpower training (3.14) were both high, and the preferred training content was first aid (3.57). Conclusions: Additional research is needed on the development of integrated care convergence curriculum.

The purpose of this study is to identify the causal relationship of the structural model through approach motivation, avoidance motivation, and digital usage recognition in order to prepare a plan for coexistence with dental hygiene targeting 239 students from the dental hygiene department at a university in Gangwon-do. For statistical methods, SPSS Statistics 24.0 program and AMOS 21.0 were used. As a result of the structural equation model analysis, the motivation for approach was found to be significantly related to digital usage recognition and class satisfaction. In addition, digital usage perception was found to be significantly related to class satisfaction, and class satisfaction was shown to be significantly related to department satisfaction and department recommendation. Lastly, department satisfaction was significantly found in department recommendation. In other words, the coexistence plan with dental hygiene (department) is to expand the convergence of digital classes. In order to solve the problem, it is necessary for schools to establish facilities to expand teaching materials for practical classes and to devise teaching methods.

The demand for medical care and welfare for patients with disabilities is expanding, and healthcare professionals are also increasingly interested in the need for medical care for patients with disabilities. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the competency of disabled patients' management and the education experience of dental hygiene students, who are the main players of oral health care for disabled patients. A total of 196 students in the dental hygiene department and 3rd and 4th grade students were surveyed using questionnaires. As a result, most of the students had a positive awareness of disabled patients; 84.7% answered with the need to train dental hygienists in specializing in handicapped patients, 76.5% were willing to attend seminars related to disabled patients after graduation, and 71.4% of the students provided dental treatment for patients with disabilities in curriculum and comparative curriculum. The students who provided treatment for disabled patients showed that their competence in most areas of knowledge of disabled patients, oral health education, and oral disease prevention was highly evaluated as significant. The competence of respondents who answered that the theoretical education was sufficient was significantly higher. Based on this, institutional support for the education of dentistry for disabled patients is needed, and sufficient theoretical education and practical training should be offered to foster personnel capable of contributing to the improvement in the oral health of patients with disabilities. In addition, in-depth discussions on the training of dental hygienists specialized in handicapped patients should be conducted.

This study aimed to identify the impact of human rights violations on elderly discrimination, focusing on the mediating effect of elderly-related experiences. After conducting a two-month survey of 143 dental students in some parts of Busan from September 4, 2020, hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to find out the mediating effects of elderly-related experiences using the SPSS 26.0 program. Dental hygiene students' perception of infringement on elderly human rights was shown to be significant in elderly discrimination(r=-.310) and elderly-related experiences(.185), indicating that elderly-related experiences were partially mediated in elderly human rights infringement and elderly discrimination. Therefore, this study intends to provide basic data on the development of dental hygiene curriculum in a super-aging society by reconsidering the need for senior-related experiences in dental hygiene and education.

In this study, it was to understand the factors influencing choice conviction of dental hygiene major graduate school of dental hygienist. This study aims to provide the basic data for developing the dental hygienic profession. The study method was complete enumeration of the master's graduate 84 students majoring in dental hygiene in the country 8 graduate school. The results of this study, the analysis of the differences between the external factors and internal factors of graduate school choice, factors of financial accessibility factor related marriage factor. Factor of the education program were more unmarried. The average monthly income was found to have recognized high financial accessibility of factors, education program. Also the carrier is low, factor of the education program it was found to be high. The result of graduate school choice conviction, the more unmarried chosen choice conviction score in high, it choice conviction score was related to monthly income. The result of correlation analysis, external reputation, future, education program if high, it was found to have conviction of graduate school. In graduate school choice conviction external factors of education program and future factor was found to influence the choice of graduate school but internal factors was not found to influence. Therefore, we must seek the support measures that can deepen the sustainable development and dental hygiene of the dental hygienist.

Oral health knowledge, awareness and attitude towards parents of the dental hygiene students is giving a mutual influence over their children enrolled in the dental hygiene department. Therefore, the university is a situation that requires students to oral health education that can be caused by changes in attitudes and behavior, rather than a simple knowledge transfer. This study was performed to compare the differences in oral health knowledge and awareness of dental hygiene department parents. Research method was used to survey the SPSS v19.0 through the Google study has used a total of 200 in the final analysis to the National Dental Hygiene Department of the lower grades (first grade) and seniors (fourth grade), the student's parent. The results child's impact as a student in the dental hygiene department is older group were more statistically significant than the younger group. Oral Health Knowledge average of the parents of the grade your child is younger parents, older parents, cognitive average younger parents, older parents, education, whether through a child younger parents older parents, the impact is younger parents was higher in the upper grades to both parents of older parents. Therefore, the older the child the more it can be seen that grade their knowledge and habitual behavior affects the oral health knowledge and awareness of their parents.

This study examined the influence of academic self-efficacy of Faculty-student inter action and peer relations. The subject were collected from 289 dental hygiene students J region, three colleges of between November 5, December 30, in 2018. The data was analyzed by descriptive, pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Faculty-student interact ion was correlated with peer relations(r=.434) and had a positively correlation with academic self-efficacy(r=.282) with improved of major satisfaction and higher academic performance, a much more vigorous active faculty-student interaction and peer relations of level of academic self-efficacy. The results reveals to develop program co-relationship in order to improve academic self-efficacy.

Little evidence has been provided on the standardization of community dental hygiene as one of the subjects of dental hygiene course. The goals of this study were to: examine the satisfaction of a dental hygiene student's in the practice program according to public health centers and explore the satisfaction factors of a dental hygiene student's in the program of public health center. Data on 105 were obtained from the undergraduate students in the university in Gyeonggi-do. As a result of satisfaction of the practice at 11 public health centers, the overall mean score was 5.3 out of 7 score. The means of satisfaction score were different cross public health centers with the 3.7 lowest and 6.8 highest score. Among the factors affecting satisfaction of the practice at public health center, 'comfortability of practice' was identified by 55.2%, followed by 'accessibility (46.7%)' and 'academic achievement (31.4%)'. Different proportions of respondents were obtained between 3rd year and 4th year students. In conclusion, this study highlighted the importance of the program of public health center for quality improvement of community oral health practice. A survey of the satisfaction of a dental hygiene student of community oral health practice is to provide evidence data as a starting point for this purpose.
