A Study on the Floor-Specific Characteristics of Road Traffic Noise in Apartment Buildings (공동주택의 층별 도로교통 소음의 전달 특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study is an attempt to understand the floor-specific characteristics of facade road traffic noise in apartment buildings. For this purpose, it sampled a total of seven roadside apartment building complexes: three with no soundproof bar barrier installed at roadside, one with a forest buffer zone, one with a sound-absorbing hill, and two with soundproof barriers. The measured noise level was highest on the 5th floor of apartment buildings with no soundproof barrier, and the upper stories from the 5th floor showed lower-noise measurements in order. For apartment buildings with soundproof barriers, however, the noise level was lower on the 10th floor than the 5th floor. Two apartment building groups--one with a sound-absorbing hill and the other with no soundproof barrier--showed similar measurement results in the floor-specific characteristics of facade road traffic noise. This suggests that such installations have little sound insulation effect. In the apartment building complex with a forest buffer zone around it, a slight sound insulation effect was measured on the lower floors of the buildings.

  • Most apartment houses were sited in road because it was convenient for transportation. One of the most noise is traffic noise at apartment house. The tested site was closely located in rail road and installed soundproofing wall. This study is measured indoor and outdoor noise distribution in apartment house for each story. It was similar noise distribution at indoor test but it was different noise distribution at outdoor test for each story. It was measured higher noise level at the upper stories than 5th story in outdoor noise distribution.

Vibration Analyses of Cylindrical Hybrid Panel with Viscoelastic Layer Based on Layerwise Finite Elements (층별변위 유한요소법에 기초한 점탄성층을 갖는 원통형 복합적층 패널의 진동해석)

  • Based on a full layerwise displacement shell theory, the nitration and damping characteristics of cylindrical sandwiched panels with viscoelastic layers are investigated. The transverse shear deformation and the normal strain of the cylindrical hybrid panels are fully taken into account for the structural damping modelling. The present finite element model Is formulated by using Hamilton's virtual work principle and the cylindrical curvature of hybrid panels is exactly modeled. Modal loss factors and frequency response functions are analyzed for various structural parameters of cylindrical sandwich panels. Present results show that the full layerwise finite element method can accurately predict the vibration and damping characteristics of the cylindrical hybrid panels with surface damping treatments and constrained layer damping.

  • 철도는 대량수송 및 정시제 운행이라는 중요한 역할을 하면서도 다른 한편으로는 철도연변에 거주하고 있는 사람들에게 상당한 소음공해를 미쳐 정온한 생활환경을 누릴 권리를 침해하고 있음에도 불구하고 철도소음을 관리하는 기준이나 대책등이 아직 미미한 실정이다. 향후 5년 내에는 고속철도의 등장도 확실하지만 기존 재래식 철도에 대한 소음 실태 자료마저 충분치 않아 철도연변의 소음진동 문제를 해결하기 위한 기본적 수단인 소음 기준 제시를 위해서는 폭넓은 기초 자료확보와 새로운 관련연구가 요청되었다. 이러한 필요성에 따라 전기기관차를 중심으로 영동선, 중앙선, 태백선, 경인선, 경원선 및 대도시 도심지를 관통하는 호남선 및 경부선 중에서 측정환경이 양호한 22개 지역을 선정하여 기존 철도의 구간별 30분, 1시간, 2시간, 3시간 등가소음도를 측정하였고 선로의 조건, 열차의 종류 및 속도, 거리권별 등에 따른 개별열차 통행시의 소음특성을 조사하여 철도소음의 기준 설정과 방지대책 강구시에 활용할 수 있도록 하며, 열차 통행속도로부터 최고소음도를 추정하여 주변지역의 등가소음도를 산정할 수 잇는 예측식을 도출하여 측정방법 개정에 활용하고, 그리고 선로변에 위치한 공동주택을 대상으로 층별 철도소음 노출도와 열차통과시의 공동주택 실내.외의 소음도를 비교조사하여 벽체 차음 효과를 조사하였고 철도소음에 대한 주민반응 조사를 하였다.

  • Recently, with the increasing of construction works, large construction equipment are used to reduce the term of work and labor cost in construction field. Therefore, construction equipment noise has caused much annoyance for a number of dweller in nearby construction field and it has become a very serious problem in our living environment. Neverthless, in our country, adequite guidelines for the construction equipment noise are very deficiency because of the lack of basic data and insufficient research works. From this point of view, this study attempts to survey the vertical SPL distribution of piling noise by oil pressure method in construction field. This study also present a basic data found a effective plans for piling noise by oil pressure method.

Development and Verification of Prediction Model for Road Traffic Noise in the Apartment Complex (아파트단지에서 도로교통소음 예측식 개발 및 검증)

  • 10 sites in building development areas were selected and the noise level were measured by the apartment floors of apartment complex. With the fitted regression analysis, the distribution ratio($R^2$) and correction coefficient(r) was 25%(0.5) in the NIER('87) and 7.5%(0.274) in the NIER('99), respectively. The measured values of the noise level on the seventh floor of complex did not show a good agreement with the predicted noise level in the NIER('87, '99) formula. However, the developed formula demonstrated that the measured values were reasonably close to the predicted values, indicating the validity and adequacy of the predicted models with the fitted vs residual analysis in the 95% of confidence interval and 95% of predict interval. The results suggested that application of this development model obtained by the results according to the apartment floor can be improved in road traffic noise.

Vibration Reduction for a Railway Depot Building (II): Design Parameters (철도인공대지에 건설된 아파트의 방진대책(II): 설계변수)

  • In the second part of the paper, a design strategy for an apartment complex constructed at a railway depot is proposed for vibration reduction purposes. Various design parameters such as the vehicle operating speeds, artificial land behavior, housing support structure, and apartment sub-structures are individually examined to reduce the transmission of vibrations through building structures. Building construction on an artificial land should be subjected to regulations that require the application of a vibration reduction scheme based on the mechanics that govern the vibration transmission phenomena. The implementation of these parameters at an early design stage will provide a quiet living environment for residents who may be exposed to excessive noise and vibration.

Anatomical Study on the Foot Soeum Meridian Muscle in Human (사람에 있어 족소음경근의 해부학적 고찰)

  • Objectives : This study was investigated to observe Foot Soeum Meridian Muscle in human. Methods : In order to expose components related to Foot Soeum Meridian Muscle, cadaver was dissected in the order of their depth; being respectively divided into superficial, middle, and deep layer. Results : Anatomical components related to Foot Soeum Meridian Muscle in human are composed of muscles such as flexor digitorum brevis tendon, abductor hallucis muscle, psoas major m., erector spinae m., and flexor retinaculum, fascia such as plantar aoneurosis, ligament such as sacrotuberal ligament, sacrospinous lig., nuchal lig., nerves such as plantar cut. br. of med. plantar nerve, med. crural cut. br. of saphenous n., br. of tibial n., post. femoral cut. n., spinal n.(dorsal rami of C4-6, T7-12, L1-3, and S1-3), and autonomic nervous system(sacral plexus, pelvic splanchnic n., etc.), and etc. Conclusions : This study shows comparative differences from established studies on anatomical components related to Foot Soeum Meridian Muscle, and the methodical aspects of analytic process. In addition, Foot Soeum Meridian Muscle in human is a comprehensive concept including the relevant nerves, but it remains questionable.
