The study looked at the current status and satisfaction level of 224 students studying in beauty related departments at universities in Seoul, Chungcheong and Honam regions. As a result, China (77.7 percent) had the largest number of countries subject to the survey. 50.5 percent of the respondents chose to study abroad to learn the excellence of Korean beauty technology, and 40.3 percent said they would like to work in their own country after graduation. The higher the satisfaction level of education courses and working classes, the higher the use of practical equipment, the counseling rate with the academic advisor, and the higher the satisfaction level of university life was. As a result of this, for students we should develop a curriculum to improve their satisfaction in university life, support the mentor mentee program, and expand the scholarship support system.

The purpose of this research is to present an opinion on the development of a systematic program for the training of talented students at domestic universities for overseas employment, effective usage of overseas field practice and internship, and the importance of the programs that can provide prepared future Taekwondo professional with the opportunities to be successfully employed by desired overseas institutes worldwide. The objects of research were 15 persons who experienced overseas internship. The results of the research obtained through in-depth interviews were; firstly, the merits and demerits of internship; secondly, the changes made after experiencing internship; and thirdly, what they want to say to their juniors who are preparing for internship.

This study was to investigate working experience of poor female-headed families in social enterprise focusing on empowerment process. For this study, nine female-headed women were interviewed and the collected qualitative data were analyzed through phenomenological research method. Main results of this study provided eight main construct factors, such as the intersection of hope and unhappy, economic independence through being alone, finding myself strong and worthy, consciousness of horizontal bondage, trouble situation, professionalism and pride, capacity to problem solving and self-importance of contribution to society. Based on the results of this study, working experience of poor female-headed families in social enterprise was strengthened from personal level and relational level to social level. Therefore, various policies and practical programs should be prepared to improve empowerment of female-headed families in poverty working in social enterprise.

This study was conducted to identify the predictors of the choice of regional small and medium hospitals by identifying the job preference, recognition of small and medium hospitals. For this purpose, data were collected from September 2018 to October 2018 for nursing students attending 4 universities in Gwangju and Jeollanam - do, and total of 476 questionnaires were analyzed using the SPSS / WIN 24.0 program. The results showed that 66.0% of nursing students selected region local small and medium hospitals. The factors influencing the choice of region small and medium hospitals were high school region, nursing school performance and recognition of small and medium hospitals. In order to increase the employment rate of nursing students to the region small and medium hospitals, nursing educators should provide personalized career guidance to students who want to work in small and medium hospitals and hospital personnel should establish various public relations activities and marketing strategies to raise recognition of small and medium hospitals.

This paper empirically analyzes the behavioral patterns of the labor flows surrounding self-employment. One of the findings is that, while a substantial portion of the labor flows into (and from) the self-employment sector is a movement from (and into) the non-employment, such flows are largely confined to a relatively small group of marginal workers. Still, the share of those marginal workers among the self-employed has declined steadily at least until the outburst of the financial crisis in 1997, evidencing that the job stability has been increased in this sector. On the other hand, the expected duration of self-employment has shown a downward trend up until 1990 but has increased since then. Such a trend reversal is also observed in the proportion of the labor force self-employed, indicating that the former is at least partly responsible for the latter.

This study explores how unmarried workers use their leisure time according to the 2009 Korean Time Use Survey. The purposes of this study are: 1) to investigate leisure time as it relates to leisure participation rates and leisure participation time and 2) to analyze the effect of socio-demographic variables on leisure time and leisure participation by unmarried workers. The following is a summary of the major findings. First, leisure participation differed with variations in leisure activities. Unmarried workers participated in media contact, human relations activities, and hobby activities more than other activities. Participation in learning activities was higher on weekdays than on Sunday. Men participated in sports and outdoor activities more than women on Sundays. The participation rate of media contact was the highest, while the participation rate of volunteer activities was the lowest. Second, influencing factors on leisure time included gender, age, monthly income, and gender role attitudes when work time was controlled. For example, unmarried workers with egalitarian attitudes spent less leisure time. Third, gender was the strongest determinant of leisure participation. The probability of women's leisure participation was higher than men except in regards to sports and outdoor activities, and hobby activities.

통계청의 8월 고용동향과 경제활동 인구조사에 따르면, 지난달 국내 실업률은 3.5%로 실업 인구 수가 80만명에 이른 것으로 나타났다. 이중 20대 청년실업자가 차지하는 비율이 40.7%로 전체 실업자의 절반에 육박하고 있어 현재 청년실업 문제가 매우 심각한 것으로 조사됐다. 특히 최근 들어 벤처기업의 1사 1인 채용운동 등 각계에서 고용안정을 위한 다양한 노력을 기울이고 있음에도 불구하고 실업난이 수그러들 기미를 보이지 않음에 따라 취업 알선을 위한 보다 정확하고 신속한 정보 제공이 요구되고 있다. 더구나 중앙고용정보원의 워크넷이나 중소기업청의 인력정보망 등 온라인을 통한 다양한 구인∙구직 사이트들이 활성화돼 있어 구직 희망자들이 적극 활용하고 있는데, 내수침체가 장기화되면서 고용 사정은 좀처럼 개선되지 않고 있다. 2004년 현재 온라인상으로만 채용공고를 하는 기업은 전체 기업의 30% 정도이며, 앞으로는 온라인을 통한 구인구직 활동이 더욱 활발해질 것으로 전망되고 있다. 실제 인터넷에서 채용정보 전문 서비스는 물론 분야별, 지역별로 구인구직 정보를 제공하고 있는 서비스를 합하면 350여개가 넘는다. 이 중 눈에 띄는 서비스가 바로‘워크넷’이다. ‘워크넷’은 노동부 산하 중앙고용정보원이 운영하는 구인구직 전문 사이트로서, 공공기관이 운영한다는 점에서 정보의 신뢰성과 전문성이 기대된다. 특히 하반기 채용 시즌을 맞아 구인구직활동이 더욱 활발해 질것으로 예상되기 때문에 이번 10월 DB서비스 평가에서는‘워크넷’을 소개하고자 한다.

This study analyzed time allocation in unmarried single household. It examined meal activities and leisure by gender and employment status using the 2014 time-use survey data of 1,664 cases provided by Statistics Korea. Descriptive statistics, a paired t-test, and regression were conducted using the SPSS 24 program. The results showed that the total time for meal activities in unmarried single households was 125 minutes. Most meal activities consisted of eating activities, and the meal preparation time was about 19 minutes. Females spent much longer time in meal preparation than males. Leisure time was 285 minutes, and the longest time spent of leisure activities was spent using medias. Males' total leisure time was longer than females' total leisure time. Finally, employed individuals spent much longer periods of time in leisure than unemployed individuals. All the results showed differences between genders and employment status.
