Low Voltage High Luminance Efficiency Charge-Controlled Driving Method for AC PDP (저전압 고효율 AC PDP 전하 제어 구동 방식)

  • 본 논문은 AC PDP의 유지방전 구간에서 전하 제어를 통하여 저전압 구동과 고발광효율을 구현하기위한 새로운 구동 방식을 소개하고, 이 구동방식에 대한 실험결과 및 특성을 소개한다. 이 방식은 패널에 전원을 직접 인가하는 대신 외부 저장 커패시터에 연결하며 여기에 충전된 전압을 LC 공진을 통하여 중간 저장 커패시터를 충전하고 이 중간커패시터에 충전된 제한된 전하로 패널을 간접적으로 구동하는 방식으로, 기존의 방법보다 패널을 방전시키기 위한 전원의 공급 전압을 절반으로 낮출 수 있으며, 패널에 방전 시 공급되는 전력을 제한함으로서 발광효율을 개선할 수 있다. 전하 제어 구동 방식을 4인치 패널에 적용하여 실험한 결과 107V의 낮은 전압의 전원으로 안정된 방전을 유지할 수 있었으며, 1.28 lm/W의 높은 발광효율을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 소형 독립형 태양광발전시스템의 충방전제어 시스템을 구성하였으며 충방전 특성을 고찰하였다. 태양전지의 정격전압이 축전지의 충전전압보다 높으므로 충방전제어는 Buck 컨버터로 설계하였으며, 정전압 충전방식을 이용하였다. 또한 온도보상회로를 통하여 축전지의 충전전압에 대한 온도 보정을 하였다. 충방전제어 시스템의 특성을 고찰하기 위하여 170W급 독립형 태양광발전시스템을 구성하였으며 출력특성을 고찰한 결과 충전 및 방전이 원활히 진행됨을 알 수 있었으나 충전시 정전압 충전방식을 사용하였고 태양전지 출력측에 MPPT제어가 이루어 지지 않은 탓으로 태양전지 이용율이 떨어지는 단점이 있다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • The electric vehicle business is important because it can reduce 30% of the fine dust generated in the metropolitan area and it can solve the air pollution problem by replacing automobile exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine with eco-friendly electric cars. For the construction of the electric charging station infrastructure, which is the core part of the electric car business, we focus to select the optimal location of the electric car charging station in Seoul. The goal of this paper is to utilize and analyze the traffic statistics of T-Map navigation users data and Seoul Metropolitan Transportation Policy Department to deploy the electric cars charging station with optimal location to increase the efficiency. In this paper, the proposed algorithm is composed of two parts of electric charging station selection. First, we analyze real traffic statistics and area. Second, we utilize T-Map navigation data distribution. To select optimal electric charging station location, we apply these two algorithms.

Effect of Fast Charging Mode on the Degradation of Lithium-Ion Battery: Constant Current vs. Constant Power (정전류/정출력 고속충전 방식에 따른 리튬이온전지의 열화 비교 연구)

  • Electric vehicles (EVs) using lithium secondary batteries (LIBs) with excellent power and long-term cycle performance are gaining interest as the successors of internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. However, there are few systematic researches for fast charging to satisfy customers' needs. In this study, we compare the degradation of LIB where its composition is LiNi0.5Co0.2Mn0.3/Graphite with the constant current and constant power-charging method. The charging speed was set to 1C, 2C, 3C and 4C in the constant current mode and the value of constant power was calculated based on the energy at each charging speed. Therefore, by analyzing the battery degradation based on the same charging energy but different charging method; CP charging method can slow down the battery degradation at a high rate of 3C through the voltage curve, capacity retention and DC-IR. However, when the charging rate was increased by 4C or more, the deviation between the LIBs dominated the degradation than the charging method.

  • 본 논문에서는 Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) 연료전지의 출력을 동기정류 방식의 벅컨버터로 변환하여 2개의 리튬 폴리머 배터리를 충전하기 위한 시스템의 디지털 제어에 관해 논의한다. 배터리의 충전시 중요한 요소인 출력 리플의 제한 조건을 만족시키도록 컨버터를 설계하고, DSP를 이용하여 이중제어 루프를 구성함으로써 충전기를 제어하였다. 컨버터 제작과 리튬전지를 이용한 충전 실험을 통해 제안한 회로와 제어기 설계 방식의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • Many studies have been performed to reduce electric consumption in railway systems. Due to its low conduction loss and high regenerative braking efficiency characteristics, the ESS powered railway system is chosen as a promising candidate for future railway systems. This paper introduces the ESS powered railway system and analyzes current power charge calculation methods that have been set up by KEPCO (Korea Electric Power Corporation). Based on the analysis, this paper proposes two different power charge reduction methods for the railway system. One is to smooth the peaks of traction energy consumption by supplying additional energy to the grid. The other is to save electric charge by reducing electric energy consumed by the railway during the energy peak time, 2 p.m.~5 p.m., which has highest 'Won/kWh' rates. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, the power charge of Seoul Metro Line 2 is recalculated using the method.

  • This paper proposes the equalizing charger of series connected batteries which are controlled by the time-sharing method. One-chip microprocessor dectcts the terminal voltage of each battery and then determines the charging time inversely proportional to the terminal voltage so that it decrease the un¬balanced capacity. This system is compact and light, therefore it can be applied to portable equipment such as charger for electric vehicle. And it's so effective as to prevent from overcharging which causes their life to shorten.

  • 본 논문에서는 전기 자동차 충전소의 전력 소모량 추정 알고리즘을 웹 서버에 도입하여, 충전소에 의한 전력소비가 주변 전력 계통에 미치는 영향을 모니터링할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 우선, 관련 기관으로부터 공급 받는 지역 내 실시간 충전소 별 이용 상태 정보로부터 충전 시간과 그 횟수를 도출하고, 이를 충전소 마다 누적하여 소비 전력을 추정한다. 이렇게 추정된 충전소 별 전력 소모량을 웹 페이지를 통해 사용자에게 시각화하여 제공한다. 또한 같은 지역의 구간별 실시간 교통량 또한 같은 방식으로 제공하여, 전기 자동차 충전소 전력소모량의 변화 추이와 교통량의 변화 추이 간 상관관계를 확인할 수 있도록 한다. 따라서 제안하는 시스템은 지역 내 전기 자동차 충전소의 전력 소모량 및 그 변화 추이 관측하고 이를 바탕으로 지역 내 충전소 추가 설치 필요성, 전력 계통 부하 예측, 충전소 재배치 등 전기 자동차 충전소 운영 전략을 수립하는데 사용할 수 있다.

  • Mixture of hydrogen and natural gas HCNG mixing equipment production and refueling experiment were performed for supply and product. Hydrogen and CNG in 30 : 70 ratio is mixing of HCNG was performed using ratio control. HCNG refueling method was calculated after reading the pressure of tank for full refuel, amount refuel. Both full refuel and amount refuel results mixed ratio 30 : 70 in the error limits of $H_2{\pm}2%$ met the criterion. HCNG composition analysis result in refueling tank using gas chromatography is satisfying the error limits in refuel tank 30 : 70 ratio were confirmed.

  • Wireless charging method using a laser is considered as the most efficient method at a long distance of the wireless charging method. Combining long-range laser wireless charging technology with wireless communication technology will make it possible to use it for a variety of applications. Accordingly, this paper shows the results of research and experiments on wireless charging and wireless communication simultaneously based on a laser. This technique uses a laser as a light source for E/O(: Electric-to-Optical) conversion at the transmitter for optical wireless power transmission. In the experimental results, the optical power transmission using a 100 mW laser transmitter and a solar cells receiver showed a DC-to-DC efficiency of 1.9 %, wireless optical communication showed a transmission speed of up to 90 kbps when the transmission distance is 15 m.
