  • In learning the conic session, there is a gap between the curricula of the high school and the university level for the pre-service math teachers. So through the art of problem posing, 38 number of pre-service teachers worked in a pair to find fidelities in the environment of hand-held graphing calculator. We concluded that the cognitive fidelity showed three different properties using "what if not" strategy which the mathematical fidelity between the representations supported. Also, the exploration using a calculator in the pedagogical fidelity strongly helped them to apply and to expand their learning.

  • This paper presents multi-fidelity modeling and simulation (M&S) methodology to enhance simulation performance of engineering-level defense models. In this approach, a set of models with varying degrees of fidelity is exercised to reduce computational expense maintaining a similar level of system effectiveness. For multi-fidelity M&S principles, this paper defines model fidelity from two perspectives (i.e., model behavior and execution), and suggests the Fidelity Change Point (FCP) to specify the fidelity conversion. With these concepts, this paper centers on three ideas: 1) two models' structure which are the Behavioral-Fidelity Interchangeable Model (B-FIM) and the Executional-Fidelity Interchangeable Model (E-FIM), 2) modeling formalism, and 3) a simulation algorithm to support them. From an abstract case study regarding a target tracking scenario with the utilization of the proposed method, we can gain interesting experimental results regarding the enhancement of simulation performance. Finally, we expect that this work will serve various M&S-based analysis areas for enhancing simulation performance.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this case study is to analyze of the training fidelity of vision training trainee. Mehtods: The vision training observation group included 75 clients (male=40, female=35) who had binocular vision disorders without opthalmic diseases or vertical phoria. Results: A high degree of visiting rate and training fidelity showed improvement of binocular vision function, sensation and symptoms. It had a high degree of success rate and preference rate. Conclusions: We suggest that high training fidelity is an effective and alternative method for binocular vision disorder therapy.

  • Assessment in the school should be done consistently in accordance with the national curriculum. This study analyzed the process that preservice teachers developed the question items. The preservice teachers already equipped with the knowledge about the curriculum, didn't reflect it to items at first. However, in the review and modification process with colleague discussions, they get the curriculum coherence faithfully. And the item completeness gets higher such as to conform to the item intent, to help the students easily understand the item and to have the consistency between items.

  • Currently, aircraft simulator has drawn a great attention because it has significant advantages of economic, temporal, and spatial costs compared with pilot training with real aircraft. Among the components of the aircraft simulator, flight dynamic model plays a key role in simulating the flight of an actual aircraft. Hence, it is important to verify the fidelity of flight dynamic model with an automated tool. In this paper, we develop a software to automatically verify the fidelity of the flight mechanics model for the efficient development of the aircraft simulator. After designing the software structure and GUI based on the requirements derived from the fidelity verification process, the software is implemented with C # language in Window-based environment. Experimental results on CTSW models show that the developed software is effective in terms of function, performance and user convenience.

  • This study evaluated the completeness of emergency medical service (EMS) activity reports. In all, 67,830 cases of normal transfers were statistically analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 22, and statistical significance was set at p <0.5. The 119EMT_2 certificate was omitted in 50,037 (73.8%) cases, followed by time-related items in 1,227 (1.8%) cases. In the primary assessment of vital signs, systolic blood pressure was omitted and erroneous in 1,218 (1.9%) and 1,129 (1.8%) cases, respectively. In the secondary assessment, the completeness of all vital sign items was approximately 70%. As the severity of the patient's condition increased, the errors in the EMS activity report also increased, at a significant level (p=.00). Paramedics must be aware of the importance of completing the activity report.

  • In this paper, design of UWB Antenna which propagate impulse by pulse fidelity and distortion equation was induced and applied. UWB Antenna which has directional characteristic in UWB band should have low radiation loss and impulse radiation distortion. As a result, the paper designed wide band impedance transformer and microstrip slotline transit region structured antenna feeder line. By using the fabricated UWB antenna, the radiation pattern was measured in the radio anechoic chamber. Pulse fidelity of impulse radiation show good results more than 93% within ${\pm}30^{\circ}$ beam width.
