Improved MP-DD Routing Algorithm Considering Energy Efficiency in Wireless Sensor Networks (무선 센서 네트워크의 에너지 효율성을 고려한 MP-DD 라우팅 알고리즘)

  • This paper proposes efficient routing scheme named MP-DD(MultiPath-Direct Diffusion) which is simple enough to be applicable to the wireless sensor networks. Conventional DD uses only one optimal path, therefore it consumes more energy of specific nodes. MP-DD uses multiple path and has a information of hop upstream node in the direction of the base-station is determined which are obtainable via the process of self-organization of the network. Simulation results show the feasibility of the simple routing schemes for the sensor networks.

Enhancement of SiO2 Uniformity by High-Pressure Deuterium Annealing (고압 중수소 어닐링을 통한 SiO2 절연체의 균일성 개선)

  • As complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) is scaled down to achieve higher chip density, thin-film layers have been deposited iteratively. The poor film uniformity resulting from deposition or chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) significantly affects chip yield. Therefore, the development of novel fabrication processes to enhance film uniformity is required. In this context, high-pressure deuterium annealing (HPDA) is proposed to reduce the surface roughness resulting from the CMP. The HPDA is carried out in a diluted deuterium atmosphere to achieve cost-effectiveness while maintaining high pressure. To confirm the effectiveness of HPDA, time-of-flight secondary-ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) are employed. It is confirmed that the absorbed deuterium gas facilitates the diffusion of silicon atoms, thereby reducing surface roughness.

Fluorescence Intensity Changes for Anthrylazacrown Ethers by Paramagnetic Metal Cations

  • Three anthrylazacrown ethers in which the anthracene fluorophore π system is separated from the electron donor atoms by one methylene group were synthesized, and their photophysical study was accomplished. These fluorescent compounds showed a maximum fluorescence intensity at pH=5 in aqueous solutions and a decrease in fluorescence intensity upon binding of paramagnetic metal cations (Mn 2+ (d 5 ), Co 2+ (d 7 ), Cu 2+ (d 9 )). The decrease in fluorescence intensity may be attributed to the paramagnetic effect of metal cations to deactivate the excited state by the nonradiative quenching process. The benzylic nitrogen was found to play an important role in changing fluorescence intensity. From the observed linear Stern-Volmer plot and the fluorescence lifetime independence of the presence of metal ions, it was inferred that the chelation enhanced fluorescence quenching (CHEQ) mechanism in the system is a ground state static quenching process. Enhanced fluorescence was also observed when an excess Na + ion was added to the quenched aqueous solution, and it was attributed to cation displacement of a complexed fluorescence quencher.

  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅은 IT기술을 기반으로, 의료 도시환경 건축 의류 등 사회 전반적인 분야로 확대되고 있다. 특히, 의료 기술의 발전과 고령인구의 증가, 삶의 질 향상에 대한 사람들의 욕구는 점점 헬스케어 산업의 중요성을 부각시켜주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 생체정보 측정을 위해 통신이 가능한 디지털 의류를 제작하여 생체신호를 측정할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하였다. 디지털 의류는 심전도 센서, 디지털 실, 모듈을 통해 구성되어 있으며 이를 안드로이드 어플리케이션을 통하여 스마트폰과 통신하도록 개발 하였다.

  • This study analyzed the nutritional composition (proximate composition, total dietary fiber, calories, minerals, fatty acids, and amino acids) of 10 noodle products (tteok ramyun, jjamppong ramyun, kimchi ramyun, instant udon, cup ramyun, jajangmyun, bibimmyun, cream spaghetti, ssalguksu, and milmyun), which account for 85% of the cumulative intake of one or more key nutrients, using data from the 7th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. The moisture contents of bibimmyun, jajangmyun, and cream spaghetti were lower than those of the other noodle products, whereas the crude fat, crude protein, carbohydrate, and calorie contents were the highest. Cream spaghetti had the highest mineral, fatty acid, and amino acid contents, followed by bibimmyun and jajangmyun. Ssalguksu had the lowest contents of most nutrients. These data could be used to populate a food composition database, which can provide consumers with the nutritional information about frequently consumed noodle products.

Reduction of Isolated Zygomatic Arch Fractures with Gillies Approach (길리씨 접근법을 통한 협골궁 골절의 정복)

  • Background and Objectives The incidence of facial bone fracture is increasing. The zygomatic bone, due to its anatomical prominence, is the second most common site of all facial bone fractures. In this study, we present the clinical experiences of zygomatic arch fracture in a tertiary hospital and introduce the Gillies approach for reduction and its outcome results. Subjects and Method We collected data from retrospective chart reviews of patients who underwent surgeries from 2010 to 2017 for zygomatic arch fractures at Chungbuk National University Hospital. Data were analyzed according to age, gender, cause of trauma, location of trauma, and clinical symptoms including trismus. All surgery was performed under general anesthesia and via the use of Gillies approach. The result of surgery was evaluated by postoperative facial computed tomography. Results Sixteen patients underwent surgery for zygomatic arch fracture. The patients had the average age of 41.3 years, a male predominance of 15:1 and physical assault as the most common cause of trauma. The time lag between injury and surgical reduction was 5.5 days. The surgical outcomes were assessed 'good' in 14 cases and 'moderate' in one case. Patients who had trismus preoperatively were resolved of it in all cases after operation. Postoperative complications were absent. Conclusion The Gillies approach proved to be a relatively easy, safe, and reliable method, and its surgical outcomes was satisfactory in our experiences.

  • 기존에 잠수부가 사용하던 질소가스가 인체에 치명적인 공기 색전증을 유발하게 되면서 헬륨 산소혼합가스는 이를 극복하기 위한 대체 호흡용 가스로 사용되고 있다. 특히, 헬륨가스는 명료도가 낮은 squeaky voice를 유발하기 때문에 잠수부들의 비정상적인 음성에 대한 해석에 어려움이 많다. 또한, 헬륨가스는 일상생활에서 자주 접하는 것이며 다양한 TV프로에서도 헬륨가스를 마신 후 변하는 목소리를 통해 웃음을 전달하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 헬륨가스가 조음기관에 미치는 영향을 음성분석학적 요소의 적용을 통해 측정하는 연구를 수행하였다.

  • 현대 의료 분야는 질병의 진단과 치료뿐만 아니라 질병의 예방 및 건강증진을 위한 관리, 유지의 역할도 중요하게 대두되고 있다. 즉, 질병의 조기 발견과 진단으로 예방 및 관리를 생활화하고 건강수준을 높이는 방향을 제시하는 등 건강증진을 유도하는 계기를 증대시키고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 간질환이 음성에 미치는 영향을 연구하기 위해 간 질환자를 대상으로 공명강과 발성의 변화를 측정하는 실험을 수행하였다. 이를 위해 간 질환자를 피실험자 집단으로 구성하여 간질환으로 인해 입원했을 때와 치료 후에 퇴원했을 때의 음성을 각각 수집하여 음성 분석 요소 중 제3포먼트 주파수 대역폭과 무성음 추출 패턴수를 측정하여 간 질환으로 인해 공명강과 발성에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 연구를 수행하였다.

  • High pressure deuterium (HPD) annealing is an advancing technology for the fabrication of modern semiconductor devices. In this work, gate-enclosed FETs are fabricated on a silicon substrate as test vehicles. After a cycle for the HPD annealing, the device parameters such as threshold voltage (VTH), subthreshold swing (SS), on-state current (ION), off-state current (IOFF), and gate leakage (IG) were measured and compared depending on the HPD. The HPD annealing can passivate the dangling bonds at Si-SiO2 interfaces as well as eliminate the bulk trap in SiO2. It can be concluded that adding the HPD annealing as a fabrication process is very effective in improving device reliability, performance, and variability.

  • 본 논문은 RSU 통신 범위 밖에서 요청 차량에게 콘텐츠를 전달하기 위해 최적의 릴레이 후보를 찾는 알고리즘으로 더 효율적인 릴레이 방안을 제시한다. 최근 차량 네트워크에서 사용자의 콘텐츠 이용의 불편함을 줄이기 위하여 지연 시간과 트래픽을 감소시키기 위해 사전 캐싱을 사용하기 위한 연구가 되어오고 있다. 따라서, 주변에 있는 차량을 이용하여 콘텐츠를 릴레이 하는 방안으로 연구가 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 RSU 통신 범위 밖에서 요청 차량에게 콘텐츠를 전달하기 위해 최적의 릴레이 후보를 찾는 알고리즘을 기반으로 추가적인 릴레이를 하여 콘텐츠를 전달하는 방안을 제시한다. 시뮬레이션은 NS-3 로 진행되었으며 성능 결과에서 제안 방안을 통해 릴레이 양은 증가하고, 딜레이는 감소하였다.
