  • 정합장처리(matched-field processing)는 실제 음향자료와 복제음장과의 공간 coherence를 이용한 음장의 역추정 방법이다. 광대역 스펙트럼을 가지는 음원의 경우 협대역 단일 주파수별로 정합장 출력을 계산한 후, 각 출력을 더하는 incoherent 광대역 정합장처리를 사용하였으나, 그 경우 수신기들과 주파수들간의 상호 공간과 주파수 정보를 사용치 못하므로 음원 위치추정 성능이 저하된다. 본 논문에서는 광대역 스펙트럼의 여러 주파수를 사용하여 확장된 CSDM(cross-spectral density matrix)을 구성하여 coherent 정합장처리를 구현하고, 각 정합장처리 기법에 대한 음원 위치추정 성능을 분석하였다.

Thermal Characteristics of an OADM Using FBG for a DWDM (FBG를 이용한 DWDM용 OADM의 온도 특성에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose an optical add-drop multiplexer(OADM) for dense-WDM (DWDM) which consists of the fiber Bragg grating(FBG) filter and investigate the temperature characteristics of it. To resolve the characteristics, we find and analyze numerically its temperature response, and fabricate an OADM and measure its output spectrum. From the obtained results, we khow that the center wavelength of output spectrum shifts approximately 0.01230$nm/^{\circ}C$ within a temperature range $-30^{\circ}C{\sim}90^{\circ}C$.

  • 서로 상관관계가 있는 다입력원 진동계의 진동원을 규명하기 위한 방법을 제안하였다. 다차원 스펙트럼 해석을 이용함으로써 지하철 진동의 가장 중요한 진동원을 발견하였다. 이 분석은 진동의 전 달경로가 매우 복잡할 때 다입력-단일출력으로 모델화 하여 분석하는 방법이다. 또한 레지듀 스펙트럼 분석과 부분기여함수의 개념을 적용하여 지하철 진동이 콘크리트 구조물의 진동에 미치는 영향을 마이 크로 컴퓨터로 계산하였다. 이러한 연구의 결과로 지하철 진동의 다차원 스펙트럼의 오버올레벨을 측정 치와 비교하였다.

  • 설계된 시스템으로 중요한 동맥과 정맥의 흐름속도를 들을 수 있었으며 스펙트럼 해석기(Spectrum Analyser)를 통과한 출력을 보였다. 게이트의 수를 증가시킨 다중 채널 펄스 도플러 시스템을 사용하므로 혈관 각 부분에서 흐름 단면도(flow profil)와 속도 신호를 (velocity signal)을 얻을 수 있는 가능성을 보였다.

  • Switching mode amplifiers have been studied widely for use at microwave frequency range, and the class E amplifier which is a type of switching mode amplifier offers very high efficiency approaching 100%. In this paper, 2.4GHz microwave class E amplifier with 66% power added efficiency (PAE) and 17.6dBm output has been linearized for use at wireless LAN transmitter, and digital predistortion technique with look up table is applied. With -3dBm input power of wireless LAN, measured output spectrum can meet the required IEEE 802.11g standard spectrum mask, and the digital predistortion output spectrum has been improved by 5dB of ACPR at 20MHz offset from center frequency.

  • Multipass Ti:sapphire amplifier for the light source of lidar was developed in an angular-multiplexing, and the characteristics of output energy and spectrum was investigated. In the two-stage multipass amplifier, we obtained the maximum output energy of 42 mJ, the amplification gain of 21 dB and the output efficiency of 26% on the wavelength of 790 nm. In the tuning range of 715~930nm the spectral linewidth is 0.05 $cm^{-1}$ /. The conversion efficiencies of 35% for SHG at 780 m and 13% for THG at 390 nm are obtained respectively. The continuous tunabilities of 240~306 m UV region and 360~460 nm in deep-blue region could be achieved.

  • Recently, research on the non-destructive testing of concrete has been rapidly increasing in relation with the quality, reliability, durability, and uniformity of concrete used in architectural structures. In this paper, the most important problem is the attenuation phenomena on throughing the side of concrete by ultrasonic wave, and applied tone-burst to decrease the attenuation in minimum. As the result, the correlation between crack-depth and propagation-time, maximum-spectrum and out-amplitude, in-frequency and maximum-spectrum are found to be excellent. The coefficient of each are +0.975, +0.847, -0.718. The merit of tone-burst through this experiment is that the start of reception wave is very excellent.

  • This paper presents a method for estimating the contribution of vibration sources in gasoline direct injection engine parts with a multiple-input system. A partial coherence function was used to identify the cause of the linear dependence indicated by an ordinary coherence function. To apply the partial coherence function to vibration source identification in the powertrain system of a gasoline direct injection engine, a virtual model of a two-input and single-output system is simulated. For the validation of this model, the vibration of the powertrain parts was measured by using triaxial accelerometers attached to the selected vibration sources-a high-pressure pump, fuel rail, injector, and pressure sensor. After calculating the partial coherence between each source based on the virtual model, the vibration contribution of the powertrain system is calculated. This virtual model based on the partial coherence function is implemented to determine the quantitative vibration contribution of each powertrain part.
