Particle Filtering based Object Tracking Method using Feedback and Tracking Box Correction (피드백과 박스 보정을 이용한 Particle Filtering 객체추적 방법론)

  • The object tracking method using particle filtering has been proved successful since it is based on the Monte Carlo simulation to estimate the posterior distribution of the state vector that is nonlinear and non-Gaussian in the real-world situation. In this paper, we present two nobel methods that can improve the performance of the object tracking algorithm based on the particle filtering. First one is the feedback method that replace the low-weighted tracking sample by the estimated state vector in the previous frame. The second one is an tracking box correction method to find an confidence interval of back projection probability on the estimated candidate object area. An sample propagation equation is also presented, which is obtained by experiments. We designed well-organized test data set which reflects various challenging circumstances, and, by using it, experimental results proved that the proposed methods improves the traditional particle filter based object tracking method.

  • In this paper recognized for trajectory using Condensation algorithm. In this pater used fuzzy controller for recognized trajectory using fuzzy reasoning. The fuzzy system tract to the three-dimensional space for raw and roll movement. The joint angle ${\theta}_1$ of the manipulator rotate from $0^{\circ}\;to\;360^{\circ}$, and the joint angle ${\theta}_2$ rotate from $0^{\circ}\;to\;180^{\circ}$. The moving object of velocity display for recognition without error using Condensation algorithm. The tracking system demonstrated the reliability of proposed algorithm through simulation against used trajectory.

JPDAS Multi-Target Tracking Algorithm for Cluster Bombs Tracking (자탄 추적을 위한 JPDAS 다중표적 추적알고리즘)

  • JPDAF is a method of updating target's state estimation by using posterior probability that measurements are originated from existing target in multi-target tracking. In this paper, we propose a multi-target tracking algorithm for falling cluster bombs separated from a mother bomb based on JPDAS method which is obtained by applying fixed-interval smoothing technique to JPDAF. The performance of JPDAF and JPDAS multi-target tracking algorithm is compared by observing the average of the difference between targets' state estimations obtained from 100 independent executions of two algorithms and targets' true states. Based on this, results of simulations for a radar tracking problem that show proposed JPDAS has better tracking performance than JPDAF is presented.

  • 최근 기업에서의 인터넷 응용이 보편화되고 있으며, 인터넷 기반의 전자상거래(CALS/EC)는 선택의 문제가 아니라 생존의 수단으로 받아 들여 지고 있다. CALS/EC는 비즈니스 관련 정보를 전자적으로 교환함으로써 기존의 비즈니스 방식을 개선, 전환, 재정의하고, 비용절감, 품질향상, 서비스의 품질과 속도개선을 통해 고객만족과 기업이윤을 증대시키는 새로운 기업의 전술로 정의되고 있다. 이러한 인터넷 기반 CALS/EC의 활성화로 인해 여러 분야에서의 기업 상품에 대한 마케팅 전략 등이 최우선적으로 고려되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 전자상거래를 포함, 인터넷 이용자의 특성.취향을 분석하기 위한 이용자 특성.취향 분석 시스템의 구성원리와 그 구성요소 중 하나의 모듈인 특성화된 이용자 로그정보로부터 추적 알고리즘을 이용한 시뮬레이션을 수행함으로써, 보다 정확한 이용자 정보를 수집하여 유연성있는 정보를 제공할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하고 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 목표물 추적 및 목표물 명중을 위한 사격을 할 수 있는 자율이동로봇의 설계 및 제작에 관하여 기술한다. 여기서는 목표물의 이동을 추적할 수 있도록 팬-틸트(pan-tilt)를 제어한다. USB 웹갬(web cam)영상에서 대상체의 특징을 추출하고, 추출한 특징으로부터 시각구동장치의 이동 위치 및 방향을 결정하기 위한 퍼지논리시스템을 설계한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 방법의 유용성을 검증하고, 이를 실제 자율이동로봇의 시각구동장치에 적용하여 타당성을 입증한다.

  • 광선 추적 기법은 컴퓨터를 활용하여 사진과 같은 고해상도의 영상을 얻어내기 위한 렌더링 기법 중 하나이다. 그러나 이 기법은 이미지를 생성할 때 각 접마다 시뮬레이션을 하여 계산해 내므로 접의 수에 따른 계산량이 증가되고 그에 따른 계산 시간이 많이 소요된다는 단점이 있다. 이러한 많은 계산량을 처리하기 위해 병렬처리 기법을 활용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 MPI(Message Passing Interface)를 이용한 병렬 광선 추적 기법을 제시하고 그러한 기법을 여러대의 PC를 이용한 PC Clustering 기법에 적용시켜봄으로써 복잡한 계산에 소요되는 시간을 단축시키고자 하였다. 또한 작업의 크기의 변화에 따른 작업 시간과 노드 수의 증가에 따른 속도 향상률을 알아보았다. 이러한 실험을 위해 병렬 프로그래밍 도구로는 Windows NT 기반의 MPICH를 사용하였고 노드의 수는 3대에서 30대까지 증가시켰다. 노드의 수가 증가함에 따라 렌더링에 소요되는 시간이 선형적으로 감소함을 알 수 있었다.

Study on On-Sight Image-Based Simulation Method for Predicting and Analyzing Flight Test Results of a Missile (유도무기의 비행시험 결과 예측 및 분석을 위한 현장 영상 기반 시뮬레이션 기법 연구)

  • In modern-war campaign, precision-guided missiles are dominantly used to minimize the collateral damage. Imaging infrared seekers are widely applied for the precise guidance. Due to the high cost of the infrared detector, the cost for the one-shot weapon's test is a burden for the development. To reduce the test cost, a simulation method including imagery tracking is required, which is so-called integrated-flight simulation(IFS). The synthetic image generation(SIG)-based simulation method is typically used, which however cannot represent various environmental and target conditions. In this paper, a new IFS method is proposed using on-sight measured image to overcome the limitations of the SIG-based IFS(SIIFS). The target image acquired at the launching sight has been used only for checking the performance criteria of the image tracker and has not been tried for IFS since it has low resolution and little information. The study described in this paper, however, shows that the on-sight image-based IFS can predict the pre- and mid-course flight performance quite similarly and is very useful for the flight test analysis.

  • Our research introduces a novel system for creating 3D vehicle animation. Our system is for intuitively authoring vehicle accident scenes according to videos or based on user-drawn trajectories. Our system has been implemented by combining three existing ideas. The first part is for obtaining 3D trajectory of a vehicle from black-box videos. The second part is a tracking algorithm that controls a vehicle to follow a given trajectory with small errors. The last part optimizes the vehicle control parameters so that the error between the input trajectory and simulated vehicle trajectory is minimized. We also simulate the deformation of the car due to an impact to achieve believable results in real-time.

  • Considerable interest has been directed toward utilizing virtual environment-based simulations for teacher education which provide authentic experience of classroom environment and repetitive training. Emotional Interaction should be considered for more advanced simulation learning performance. Since emotion is important factors in creative thinking, inspiration, concentration, and learning motivation, identifying learners' emotional interactions and applying these results to teaching simulation is essential activities. In this context, this study aims to identify the objective data for the empathetic response through the movement of the learner's EEG (Electroencephalogram) and eye-tracking, and to provide clues for designing emotional teaching simulation. The results of this study indicated that intended empathetic response was provided and in terms of valence (positive and negative) states and situational interest played an important role in determining areas of interest. The results of this study are expected to provide guidelines for the design of emotional interactions in simulations for teacher education as follow; (a) the development of avatars capable of expressing sophisticated emotions and (b) the development of scenarios suitable for situations that cause emotional reactions.

  • In order to reduce the threat by illegal unmanned aerial vehicles, a tracking system based on sound was implemented. There are three main points to the drone acoustic tracking method. First, it scans the space through variable beam formation to find a sound source and records the sound using a microphone array. Second, it classifies it into a hidden Markov model (HMM) to find out whether the sound source exists or not, and finally, the sound source is In the case of a drone, a sound source recorded and stored as a tracking reference signal based on an adaptive beam pattern is used. The simulation was performed in both the ideal condition without background noise and interference sound and the non-ideal condition with background noise and interference sound, and evaluated the tracking performance of illegal drones. The drone tracking system designed the criteria for determining the presence or absence of a drone according to the improvement of the search distance performance according to the microphone array performance and the degree of sound pattern matching, and reflected in the design of the speech reading circuit.
