A Hybrid Genetic Algorithm for the Identical Parallel Machine Total Tardiness Problem (동종 병렬기계에서 납기지연 최소화를 위한 혼합형 유전 알고리즘의 개발)

  • 본 연구는 동일한 병렬기계에서의 총 납기지연의 합을 최소화하는 일정계획 문제에 대해 다룬다. 이 문제는 Lenstra et al. (1977)에 의해 NP-hard로 알려져 있으며, 작업의 수와 기계의 수가 큰 현실적 문제에 대해 적절한 시간 내에 최적해를 찾는다는 것은 사실상 불가능하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이 문제를 해결하기 위하여 혼합형 유전 알고리즘(hybrid genetic algorithm)을 제안한다. 혼합형 유전 알고리즘에서는 임의로 발생시킨 모집단에 대해 먼저 유전 알고리즘(genetic algorithm)이 세대를 진행하며 해를 개선한다. 유전 알고리즘이 일정기간동안 더 이상 해를 개선하지 못하면, 부분탐색 알고리즘(local-search algorithm))이 유전 알고리즘의 모집단의 개체들에 대해 해의 개선을 시도한다. 즉, 부분 탐색 알고리즘은 모집단 속의 각각의 개체를 초기해로 하여 모집단 내의 개체 수만큼의 부분 최적해(local optimum)들을 구한다. 이렇게 구한 부분 최적해들로 새로운 모집단을 구성하면 다시 유전 알고리즘이 진행된다. 이 과정을 종료조건에 이를 때까지 번갈아가며 반복 수행한다. 본 연구에서 제안한 유전 알고리즘에서는 Bean(1994)이 제안한 Random key 방법으로 개체를 표현하였으며 Park(2000)이 제안한 3가지 교차 연산자들을 채용하였다. 부분탐색 알고리즘을 위해서는 쌍대교환(pair-wise interchange) 방법을 통해 이웃해를 생성하였다. 선행실험을 통하여 제안한 혼합형 유전알고리즘에서 사용하는 다양한 모수(parameter)값들을 최적화하였으며 알고리즘의 성능을 비교하기 위하여 기존의 알고리즘과도 비교실험을 수행하였다.복적인 지표가 채택되는 경우를 포함하고 있다. 셋째는 추상적이며 측정이 어려운 지표를 채택하고 있는 경우이다. 여기에는 지표에 대한 정확한 정의가 이루어져 있지 않아 피 평가자가 불필요하거나 과다한 평가 자료를 준비해야 하거나 평가자로 하여금 평가 시 혼돈을 유발할 가능성이 있거나, 또는 상위개념의 평가항목과 하위개념의 평가항목이 혼재되어 구분이 모호한 경우를 포함하고 있다. 바탕으로 '생태적 합리성'이라는 체계적인 지식교육을 거쳐서, '환경정의' 의식의 제고로 이어가고, 굵직한 '환경갈등'의 상황에서 뚜렷한 정치적 태도와 실천을 할 수 있는 '생태적 인간상'의 육성으로 나아갈 수 있어야 한다는 것이 필자의 생각이다. 이를 위해서는 어찌되었건 체험학습 영역에서는 환경현안에 대한 사회적 실천을 '교육 소재'로 삼을 수 있어야 하며, 교과학습 영역에서는 한국사회의 환경현안에 대한 정치경제적 접근을 외면하지 말고 교과서 저작의 소재로 삼을 수 있어야 하며, 이는 '환경관리주의'와 '녹색소비'에 머물러 있는 '환경 지식교육'과 실천을 한단계 진전시키는 작업으로 이어질 것이다. 이후 10년의 환경교육은 바로 '생태적 합리성'과 '환경정의'라는 두 '화두'에 터하여 세워져야 한다.배액에서 약해를 보였으나, 25% 야자지방산의 경우 50 ${\sim}$ 100배액 어디에서도 액해를 보이지 않았다. 별도로 적용한 시험에서, 토마토의 경우에도 25% 야자지방산 비누 50 ${\sim}$ 100배액 모두 약해를 발생하지 않았으나, 오이에서는 25% 야자지방산 비누 100배액에도 약해를 나타내었다. 12. 이상의 결과, 천연지방산을 이용하여 유기농업에 허용되는 각종의 살충비누를 제조할 수 있었으

Children as psychologists: The development of folk psychology (심리학자로서의 아동: 심리지식의 발달)

  • This study was carried out to examine whether children had the naive psychological knowledge that the mental states ate requited to understand the intentional actions, whether their psychological knowledge was organized as a theory, and in what aspects the knowledge changed as children get older. Three- to 11-year-olds were presented with two types of tasks. In action explanation tasks, children were presented with simple descriptions of two characters engaging in specific actions and then asked to explain the characters' action. In action prediction tasks, they were told stories depicting a character's desire and belief and then asked to predict the action of the character. Three-year-olds explained the action in terms of abstract construct such as emotion, intention, and desire, and they predicted the character's action on the basis of her/his desire and explicit belief but not on the basis of inferred false belief and traits. In addition when they were asked to explain one mental state, they explained in terms of other mental states, suggesting the coherence of their knowledge. The present results suggested that even 3-year-olds' psychological knowledge was organized as a theory, in that it was used as a causal device in explaining and predicting human actions, and it had abstractness and coherence. Older children's knowledge was different from 3-year-olds' in that older children explained the action in terms of more complicated mental states such as beliefs and traits. The nature of the developmental change in psychological knowledge was discussed.

  • 최근 제조업을 보완하는 새로운 성장동력으로 서비스산업의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 특히 무선 인터넷과 통신 기술의 발전은 신 서비스 창출의 기회를 마련해주는 동시에 서비스 시스템을 복잡하게 변화시키고 있다. 그러나 기존의 서비스 개발은 정성적인 판단과 직관에 의지하고 있으며, 서비스 개발 방법론은 개념적이고 추상적인 수준에서 제공되고 있다는 한계를 가진다. 이는 모바일 비즈니스(mobile business)와 같은 복잡한 서비스 시스템의 변화에 능동적으로 대처하지 못하고 있어, 모바일 비즈니스를 위한 실질적이고 체계적인 신 서비스 개발의 방법론의 필요성을 증가시킨다. 본 연구에서는 morphology 분석을 통해 모바일 비즈니스를 위한 체계적인 신서비스 개발 방법론을 제안한다. 특히 새로운 무선 통신 환경아래에서 급격한 변화를 맞고 있는 음악 산업을 대상으로 제안된 방법론의 활용 사례를 제시할 것이다. 제안된 방법론은 크게 4 단계로 구성된다. 첫째, 제공되는 서비스 시스템을 체계화하기 위해 morphology의 dimension들을 정의한다. 각 차원은 서비스 시스템의 하위 시스템이며, 이는 기존의 문헌조사와 연구를 통해 정의된다. 둘째, 각 차원별로 morphology의 shape를 정의한다. 셋째, 각 차원의 shape를 조합하여 과거의 서비스 시스템을 표현하고, morphology의 dimension과 shape를 확장한다. 넷째, morphology의 확장된 dimension과 shape를 조합하여 새로운 서비스를 구성한다. 제안된 접근법은 크게 두 가지 측면에서 강점을 가진다. 첫째, 신 서비스 아이디어의 획득을 용이하게 할 수 있다. morphology분석은 체계적인 설계 방법론을 창의적인 생각을 돕는 도구로 의미가 있다. 둘째, 체계적인 신 서비스의 개발을 가능하게 한다. morphology접근법은 M-비즈니스와 같은 복잡한 서비스 시스템을 구조적으로 분석하고, 개발할 수 있는 기틀이 된다.킹 대상을 도출할 때까지 추가적인 분석과정을 반복한다. 제안한 방법을 통하여 조직은 기술적 생산 가능성 외에도 다양한 조직 운영 관점에서 적절한 벤치마킹 대상을 선정할 수 있으며, 이에 따른 목표를 수립할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 또한 더 나아가 global efficiency 관점에서 효율적 조직이 되기 위하여 단계적인 벤치마킹 대상 선정과 이에 따른 목표를 수립하는데도 유용하리라 판단된다.$1.20{\pm}0.37L$, 72시간에 $1.33{\pm}0.33L$로 유의한 차이를 보였으므로(F=6.153, P=0.004), 술 후 폐환기능 회복에 효과가 있다. 4) 실험군과 대조군의 수술 후 노력성 폐활량은 수술 후 72시간에서 실험군이 $1.90{\pm}0.61L$, 대조군이 $1.51{\pm}0.38L$로 유의한 차이를 보였다(t=2.620, P=0.013). 5) 실험군과 대조군의 수술 후 일초 노력성 호기량은 수술 후 24시간에서 $1.33{\pm}0.56L,\;1.00{\ge}0.28L$로 유의한 차이를 보였고(t=2.530, P=0.017), 술 후 72시간에서 $1.72{\pm}0.65L,\;1.33{\pm}0.3L$로 유의한 차이를 보였다(t=2.540, P=0.016). 6) 대상자의 술 후 폐환기능에 영향을 미치는 요인은 성별로 나타났다. 이에 따른 폐환기능의 차이를 보면, 실험군의 술 후 노력성 폐활량이 48시간에 남자($1.78{\pm}0.61L$)가 여자($1.27{\pm}0.45L$)보다 더 높게 나타났으며 (t=2.170, P=0.042), 72시간에도 역시 남자($2.16{\pm}0.56L$)가 여자($1.50{\pm}0.47L$)보다 더 높았다(t=2.910, P=0.008). 술 후 일초 노

A Study on the Classification of Student's Bluffing on Geographical Terms (지리 용어에 대한 학습자의 블러핑(Bluffing) 유형에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to explore 'bluffing', one of the most important topics in order to ensure the objectivity, validity, reliability of scoring of constructed-response items. The author identifies the conception of bluffing, and classifies major types of bluffing on the basis of previous studies on the theoretical level. Next, the author analyzes empirically the bluffing strategies and types of learners on key terms of Korean Geography subject. Compared with the existing research reports, the result of this study shows a significantly lower average bluffing score. On the other hand, it is consistent in results of previous studies reported that average bluffing score is similar between genders and that those students who got highest grades did least bluffing. Actually bluffing types are classified into four categories: 'repeating the question' type, 'depending on a well-known or existing knowledge' type, 'applying some basic concepts regardless of understanding' type, and 'inducing scorer's basic beliefs' type. Some comments and suggestions are as follows. First, it is necessary to continue researches of the relations among bluffing and age, gender, grade, intelligence and learning styles. Second, it is required for scorers who score constructed-response items to develop and supply the scoring guide including analysis contents of bluffing types and cases, and increase opportunity for training. Third, we need to inquire the domain-specific bluffing types in geography subject based on the generalizable sample size.

An ERP study on charitable donation ad effects: Mental imagery and attention (기부 광고 효과에 대한 ERP 연구: 심상과 주의)

  • A way to increase effectiveness of charitable donation ads is to activate or magnify emotional experiences (e.g., sympathy, empathy, psychological distress) among target audience. Past studies suggest that mental imagery and attention, which activate or magnify emotional experiences, can be influenced by verbal message attributes (i.e., message concreteness and valence) of charitable donation advertisements. Based on the previous research, the study built a conceptual framework for processing of charitable donation advertising: message concreteness and valence ${\rightarrow}$ mental imagery and attention ${\rightarrow}$ emotional experiences ${\rightarrow}$ donation intention. To verify the framework, the study investigated on the influence of message concreteness and valence on mental imagery and attention through assessing ERP responses. It also examined how message concreteness and valence have an effect on the intent to donate through measuring the amount of donation. The study revealed that concrete message activated mental imagery more than abstract message whereas negative message enhanced attentional level more than positive message. Compared to the other conditions, when the message was concrete and negative, the amount of donation was significantly large.

  • This paper examines the aspects of development education in the Geography Syllabus in the State of NSW, Australia and geography textbooks developed by it. The aspects of development education in the Geography Syllabus and textbooks is as follows. Firstly, Development Education is implicitly described in terms of the difference of the quality of life and aid links in Geography (Mandatory) Stage 4 and Geography (Mandatory) Stage 5, but clearly in Geography Elective. Moreover, Development Geography is one of unit to learn deeply in case of Global Challenges in Stage 6. Secondly, in geography textbooks, development education is sequenced with learning of the quality of life in everyday life, understanding of diverse meaning of development and measure of development, and the role of individuals and organizations for reducing the global inequality. The implications of the findings is as follows. Firstly, geography curriculum needs to be consist of the difference of the quality of life in the middle school, and development geography in high school. Secondly, the major concepts of development education like development, measure of development and the aid etc. need to be described in the different views. Thirdly, development education needs learners to learn the interdependence and practice the global citizenship through learning of specific links of our country with others. Finally, geography textbooks should not describe the normative efforts for reducing global inequality, and treat individual practical cases as well as organizations like government and NGOs so that learners empathize with their value and attitude through individual practical cases.

A Study on Design Characteristics of Korean War Memorials in the United States (한국전쟁 메모리얼의 설계요소에 나타난 기념성)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze design characteristics of Korean War Memorials(KWM) in the United States(KWMUS). Through site survey and internet searching, the researcher selected 25 KWMUS and analyzed four analysis categories: design concept, spatial form, landscape details, and sculptures. The results are as follows: 1. The analysis revealed that main concepts of KWMUS were to cherish victims of the Korean War, show membership/locality/patriotism, express feelings and the meaning of war, and explain the Korean War realistically and symbolically. 2. Most KWMUS in memorial parks and plazas were designed to pursue the completion of each memorial assuming the form of typical and symmetrical circles and squares. Also, spatial order including spatial sequence was seen in some of KWMUS. 3. Stone walls, stone monument, flags, emblems and paving were used as main landscape details. The map of the Korean peninsula and Taegeuk were often introduced to symbolize Korea and the Korean War, and the symbolic phrase, 'Forgotten War' or 'Freedom is Not Free' were written on the stone to keep the Korean War in the minds of Americans. 4. Sculptures were used as important media to represent the Korean War in a variety of ways. Most of them were formed realistically, except for a few sculptures that aimed to represent the Korean War symbolically and narratively. In particular, the sculptures in Washington D.C. KWVM and Minnesota KWM were remarkable as symbolic media of war memorials in contemporary society. Further study will be required to analyze comparatively KWM in Korea and the U.S. and to understand characteristics of KWM in the point of design style.

  • The objective of this study is to examine the re cent trend of the interpretation of the Principle of the Provenance in today s new environment of Archives Management and to identify the effective way of the application of the Principle of Provenance to Archives Management. Because of the continued change and the flexibility of the administrative organization and the development of information network, the traditional concept of the Principle of Provenance which put emphasis on a single creator and the physical entity of the archives has been gradually modified to a rather conceptual, abstract and realistic one. A method to apply the recent concept of the Principle of Provenance is to separate the descriptions of the record entity, the creators and the context and use the organic linkage of the separated description areas. Also we can control the provenance from the current stage or even from the pre-current stage by utilizing the classification scheme and the retention schedule. In case of the electronic records, we can manage the provenance and the context by using metadata inherent in the computerized information system. Above all it is critical that we need to structure and control the provenance by building the Korean rules for archival description corresponding to the international standards. And it is another an essential point that we have to develop a guideline for constructing the fond and maintaining its consistency.

A Study on the Structure of Soshaewon Landscape Garden Featuring Borrowed Scenery - Focusing on the Soshaewon Sisun and the Thirty Poems of Soshaewon - (차경(借景)을 통해 본 소쇄원 원림의 구조 - 「소쇄원시선(瀟灑園詩選)」과 「소쇄원30영」을 중심으로 -)

  • In this study I examined the status of the borrowed scenery of Soshaewon and analyzed the structure of Byeolseo Gardenusing "Soshaewon Sisun(瀟灑園詩選)", which consists of a collection of poems written by people who visited Soshaewon during Joseon Dynasty with bibliographical explanations and "the Thirty Poems of Soshaewon", written by Yang, Gyeong Ji who was the fifth generation from Yang, San Bo. This study expanded the concept of borrowed scenery to include visual, synaesthetic, temporary and ideal features based on the theory of borrowed scenery in "Won Ya(園冶)", which emphasized the time feature and change, and explained that a landscape garden could be perfected by the presence of borrowed scenery beyond the previous borrowed landscape which was recognized through visual value. It would be correct to understand that the visitors to Soshaewon accomplished imaginary scenery(意境) through recreating Soshaewon into a space that stimulated poetic sentiment and aesthetic sensitivity by creating four types of borrowed scenery of a landscape garden composed of both real and fictitious scenery. At present the scope of Soshaewon tends to be limited to its inner garden covering the stream garden. However, in this study I took a new approach in defining the scope of Soshaewon, providing three types of Byeolseo Garden area ; more specifically, the expanded scope of Soshaewon covers the outer garden that secured the outlook of visual, temporary and synaesthetic objects for borrowed scenery and the right to use by purchasing more area by the descendants and the ideological garden that was composed of the ideal borrowed scenery created by the Confucian friends and colleagues who praised the Jeungamcheon Stream area and various famous mountains longing for the immortal world.

  • The Chinese classic 'The Great Learning' presents a guideline in which direction we should go for the character education and the realization of a just society. It conveys the message, 'Everyone must remain at the level of goodness for our community based on training our own mind and body.' Goodness is a generic concept that means universal truth in the right direction. This study aims to present the direction of communication education for how everyone should stay in goodness. Communication education about goodness could be conducted as follows. Based on the theory of interpersonal communication and persuasive communication, first the abstract concept of goodness is understood, brainstorming and schema activity for the good are performed for true communication, and then the teaching and learning method combining debate, flipped learning, and writing could be utilized. It is difficult to provide communication education with the message of goodness with students who have grown up on the basis of comparatively cramming education. However, through communication using discussion, a paradigm shift in education will take place, and it will not only help form human relationships, but also recognize the importance of the meaning of the community in the society in which we live, and ultimately it will help foster character.
