A Study on the Optimum Condition and GMB Addition in Emulsifying (에멀젼화의 퇴적조건과 예감제 첨가에 관한 연구)

  • The gelatine dynamite, which has been traditionally used in Korea as the 2nd generation explosive, is now being rapidly replaced by an emulsion explosive because of the change in life environment economic schemes, and safety reasons. However, there has been lack of study in the surfactant which is an important factor in manufacturing technology of emulsion explosives, and especially GMB technology has not been used in Korea. In this study, effective usage of surfactant with optimum dosage and optimum mixing temperature of GMB was investigated to increase safety and effectiveness.

Study on Plasma Treatment of electrode for CCFL (CCFL 전극의 플라즈마 처리에 관한 연구)

  • CCFL(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp)for BLU of LCD and special lighting has been widely utilized. The removal of oxide film formed on electrode of CCFL in manufacturing process is required. In this pape Plasma treatment was carried out to remove the oxide film. To ensure the optimum process, the analysis of sheet resistance, XRD, AFM and solder test was conducted. A minimum sheet resistance and the maximum percentage of the solder coverage ratio were measured in optimal process conditions such as plasma power consumption 600W and processing time of 70 seconds. As the plasma treatment is confirmed to be due to removal of copper oxide, this process is expected to be used as a treatment of electrode for CCFL.

  • LED(Light Emitting Diode) is used in various filed like a display because of low power consuming, long life span, high brightness, rapid response time and environmental-friendly characteristic. General fabrication method is combination blue light LED chip with yellow fluorescent substance. Because this way is suitable for industry field in terms of convenience, economic, efficiency. In white light LED packaging process, encapsulation process that is dispensing fluorescent substance with silicon to blue light LED chip is most important. So, in this paper we develop EHD pump system using voice coil motor and electrostatic pump for dispensing fluorescent substance. For these things we conduct basic test about liquid surface profiles by voltage and process time. Through this data we decide optimal process condition and verify the optimal condition using design of experiment method. And to confirm uniformity of the condition, we conduct repeat dispensing test.

  • watches, air bearings and printed circuit hoards (PCB). However, it is not easy to determine optimum cutting conditions since the micro drilling process is very sensitive to various disturbances. Also, undesirable characteristics to optimize the micro drilling are small signal-to-noise ratios, drill wandering motions and high aspect ratios. Thus, in this study, experimental design methods are applied to determine optimum cutting conditions. Suing the methods, three cutting parameters, fred, step and curving speed are optimized to minimize thrust forces. Obtained conditions are verified through required experimental works. As the results, it is shown that the experimental methods can be applied to micro drilling processes to determine Optimum Cutting Conditions.

A Difference Study on the Lighting Simulation of the Illuminance Values from Daylight for the Glass Greenhouse (자연광 투과에 따른 유리온실 조도분석에 관한 조명시뮬레이션 비교)

  • In this study, the DIAlux program was simulated for the optimal conditions of daylight and artificial light sources(LED) in a glass greenhouse. From the results of the daylight simulation, the optimal design conditions for the glass greenhouse were established, which had a $90^{\circ}$ installation angle and a higher transmittance of glass. In the case of growing lettuce in a glass greenhouse, it was compared with artificial light sources, the artificial light source (LED) was used to produce a power consumption effect of 41%. These results suggest that lettuce be grown in an energy saving glass greenhouse.

  • Vision system is an object recognition system analyzing image information captured through camera. Vision system can be applied to various fields, and automobile types recognition is one of them. There have been many research about algorithm of automobile types recognition. But have complex calculation processing. so they need long processing time. In this paper, we designed vision box based on embedded system. and suggested automobile types recognition system using the vision box. As a result of pretesting, this system achieves 100% rate of recognition at the optimal condition. But when condition is changed by lighting and angle, recognition is available but pattern score is lowered. Also, it is observed that the proposed system satisfy the criteria of processing time and recognition rate in industrial field.

  • As the electric power industry is evolving into competitive market scheme, a new paradigm is required for the operation of market. Traditional dispatch algorithm was built based on the optimization model with an objective function and multiple constraints. Commercial market simulator followed the concept of the microeconomic model used in the dispatch algorithm, which is called as analytic method. On analytic method it is prerequisite to procure the exact data for the simulation. It is not easy anymore for each market participant to access to other participants' financial information while it used to be easy for monopoly decision maker to know all the information needed for the optimal operation. Considering the changing situation, it is required to introduce a new method for estimating the market price. This paper proposes an empirical method based on stochastic processes expected to build a capacity planning and long term contracts.

  • This paper presents dimming control system for automotive 35[W] metal halide discharge(MHD) lamp electronic ballast using digital control method. HID system has been becoming increasingly popular due to its superior performance(high luminous efficacy, good color rendering and long life etc.)over the conventional halogen system. However, this lamp demands a highly efficient ballast and very complex control circuitry that can control complex transient state in applying to automotive. Therefore, in this paper, digital control method for the HID lamp ballast is presented for optimal control that can adapt complex transient state, steady state and various environments. In developed dimming system, the system is designed to control the lamp output voltage step by step using microcontroller according to cds sensor. Therefore the designed dimming control system give good driving condition to diver and realize the power control effectively. The results of the proposed system is verified through various simulation results and the experiment results.

  • In this paper, it is suggested that the selection method of parameter of Power System Stabilizer(PSS) with robustness in low frequency oscillation for Thyristor Controlled Series Capacitor(TCSC) using Geletic Algorithm(GA). A TCSC meddle consists of a stories capacitor and a parallel path with a thyristor valve and a series inductor. Also in in parallel, as is typical with series capacitor applications, is a metal-oxide varistor(MOV) for overvoltage protection. The proposed PSS parameters are optimized using GA in order to maintain optimal operation of TCSC which is expected to be applied in transmission system to achieve a number of benefits under the various operating conditions. In order to verify the robustness of the proposed method, we considered the dynamic response of angular velocity deviation and terminal voltage deviation under a power fluctuation and rotor angle variation.

  • In this paper, we design the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Precompensator(ANFP) for the suppression of low-frequency oscillation and the improvement of system stability. Here, ANFP is designed to compensate the conventional Power System Stabilizer(PSS). This design technique has the structural merit that is easily implemented by adding ANFP to an existing PSS. Firstly, the Fuzzy Precompensator with Loaming ability is constructed and is directly learned from the input and output data of the generating unit. Because the ANFP has the property of learning, fuzzy rules and membership functions of the compensator can be automatically tuned by teaming algorithm Loaming is based on the minimization of the ems evaluated by comparing the output of the ANFP and a desired controller. Case studies show the 7posed schema can be provided the good damping of the power system over the wide range of operating conditions and improved dynamic performance of the system.
