Optimal Geometric Path and Minimum-Time Motion for a Manipulator Arm (로봇팔의 최적 기하학적 경로 및 시간최소화 운동)

  • This paper suggests a numerical method of finding optimal geometric path and minimum-time motion for a manipulator arm. To find the minimum-time motion, the optimal geometric path is searched first, and the minimum-time motion is searched on this optimal path. In the algorithm finding optimal geometric path, the objective function is minimizing the combination of joint velocities, joint-jerks, and actuator forces as well as avoiding several static obstacles, where global search is performed by adjusting the seed points of the obstacle models. In the minimum-time algorithm, the traveling time is expressed by the linear combinations of finite-term quintic B-splines and the coefficients of the splines are obtained by nonlinear programming to minimize the total traveling time subject to the constraints of the velocity-dependent actuator forces. These two search algorithms are basically similar and their convergences are quite stable.

  • How to represent the search space is as important as which search algorithm to use for finding natural-looking paths for moving NPC (non-player character) in computer games. Recently, various state space representation methods which have been developed for computer games are being used while A* algorithm dominates as the preferred search algorithm. These representation methods show some drawbacks such as the size of state space is too large, there is no guarantee for optimality, the path found is not natural-looking, and the generation of nodes and links is not automatic by depending on a level designer. In this paper the requirements for natural-looking paths are introduced and to find paths satisfying these requirements, the use of the generalized visibility graphs which is the extended version of the visibility graph in Robotics is proposed.

  • The third-party logistics industry mainly delivers goods from a place to an arrival place on behalf of the freight owner. To handle the work, they need a transportation route including transportation equipment between the starting place and the arrival place, schedule information for departure/arrival and transportation cost. Actually, automatic searching for an optimal transportation route, which considers arrival and departure points for intermodal transportation, is not a simple problem. To search efficiently transportation route, the collection of schedule information for intermodal transportation and transportation route generation have become critical and vital issues for logistics companies. Usually, they manually make a plan for a transportation route by their experience. Because of this, they are limited in their ability if there is too much cargo volume and a great many transactions. Furthermore, their dependence on the conventional way in doing business causes an inefficient selection of transporters or transportation routes. Also, it fails to provide diverse alternatives for transportation routes to the customers, and as a result, increases logistics costs. In an effort to solve these problems, this study aims to develop a route planning system based on agent, which can collect scattered schedule information on the Web. The route planning system also has an algorithm for transportation route generation in intermodal transportation.

  • 콘태이너 선박은 출발항과 종착항의 두항구 사이를 잇는 지정된 항로를 오가면서 항로의 중도에 있는 각 항구에 기항하여 화물을 상.하역하는 형태로 각 항구 사이의 화물운송을 수행한다. 이때 이윤을 최대화 하기 위해서 선박을 어느 항구에 기항하고, 또 기항하는 항구에서는 얼마만큼의 화물을 항.하역할 것인지를 적절하게 결정해야 한다. 이러한 콘테이너 선박 운항경로 문제를 모형화 하고, 0-1 혼합정수 계획법을 이용한 수리모형을 제시한 후, 최소비용 흐름문제와 분지한계 기법을 이용한 최적해법을 제시하였다. 본 논문에서는 제시한 해법에서는 먼저, 기항하기로 한 항구의 집합에 따라 부분문제를 정의한다. 또한 분해된 부분문제에서 추가로 기항할 항구들에 대한 운항구간의 적제 한계와 운항비용을 완화시킨 문제를 정의하고, 그것을 다시 최소비용흐름문제를 이용하여 풀어서 상한값ㄹ 구한다. 이와 같은 방법으로 각 부분문제의 하한값과 하한값을 계신히여, 그것을 이용하여 분지를 절단하고, 또한 상한값이 높은 부분문제를 우선적으로 선택하여 분지합으로써 최적해를 구한다.

  • Recently, analysis techniques to extract new meanings using big data analysis and various services using these analysis techniques have been developed. Among them, the transport is one of the most important areas that can be utilized about big data. However, the existing traffic route guidance system can not recommend the optimal traffic route because they use only the traffic information when the user search the route. In this paper, we propose a realtime optimal traffic route guidance system using big data analysis. The proposed system considers the realtime traffic information and results of big data analysis using historical traffic data. And, the proposed system show the warning message to the user when the user need to change the traffic route.

  • 이용자의 경로선택 형태를 모사하는 통행배정모형 결과의 정확도는 교통계획에 상당한 영향을 미친다. 이용자의 경로선택 결정과정에서 가장 중요한 판단기준은 통행시간과 통행요금이다. 그런데 통행요금은 이용자의 경로 거리에 따라 다양한 방식으로 부과되므로, 링크를 분석단위로 하는 기존의 통행배정모형은 현실적인 통행요금 반영이 힘들었고 또한 수요예측 결과를 이용한 다양한 분석에서 제약을 받아 왔다. 본 연구는 이러한 배경에서 경로교통량을 도출할 수 있는 경로기반 통행배정모형을 구축하였고, 또한 경로거리에 따라 결정되는 현실적인 통행요금을 반영할 수 있는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 경로기반 배정모형에서는 GP(Gradient Projection) 알고리즘을 이용하였고, 계산상의 효율성 제고를 위해 K-최단경로 알고리즘 중 MPS(Minimal Path Search) 알고리즘을 이용하였다. 개발된 배정모형은 현실적인 통행요금을 반영할 수 있으므로 통행배정 결과의 정밀도를 향상시켰을 뿐만 아니라 기존 배정모형에 비해 최적해로의 수렴속도도 개선되는 것으로 나타났다. 본 논문의 배정모형은 경로교통량이 도출되고 통행요금을 반영할 수 있으므로, 통행요금과 통행거리 관계에 따른 목적함수의 규명과 그에 따른 효과척도를 계량화할 수 있다. 따라서 본 모형은 통행배정에서 실재상황을 보다 현실여건에 맞도록 규명할 수 있고, 기존의 제한적인 효과분석의 문제점을 해결할 수 있으므로 그 활용범위가 넓다.

  • Because of rapid expansion of third party logistics, fierce competition in the transportation industry, and the diversification and globalization of transportation channels, an effective transportation planning by means of multimodal transport is badly needed. Accordingly, this study aims to suggest an optimal transport algorithm for the multimodal transport in the international logistics. As a solution for this problem, first of all, we have applied a pruning algorithm to simplify it, suggesting a heuristic algorithm for constrained shortest path problem to find out a feasible area with an effective time range, which has been applied to the Label Setting Algorithm, consequently leading to multiple Pareto optimal solutions. Also, in order to test the efficiency of the algorithm for constrained shortest path problem, this paper has applied it to the actual transportation path from Busan port of Korea to Rotterdam port of Netherlands.

  • 단조는 강괴를 고온으로 가열하고 원하는 형상으로 만드는 공정이다. 가열로에 강괴를 장입하여 가열하고, 고온의 강괴에 프레스, 절단 공정을 적절히 반복하여 원하는 형상으로 만든다. 형상이 완성된 강괴의 경도 및 강도를 조절하기 위해 열처리 공정을 진행한다. 열처리로에 여러 개의 강괴를 장입하여 가열하기 때문에 에너지 비용이 많이 소모된다. 열처리 공정 비용은 열처리 공정의 종류와 장입되는 강괴들의 특성 및 수량 등에 따라서 결정된다. 열처리로에 장입할 강괴 조합을 최적화함으로써 비용을 최소화시킬 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 비용 예측 모형을 이용하여 열처리로 작업 계획을 최적화하는 방안을 제안한다. 비용 예측 모형은 IoT 인프라를 기반으로 수집한 공정 데이터를 이용하여 학습한다. 다양한 열처리로 작업 계획은 학습한 모형 기반의 시뮬레이션을 통해 평가하여 유전 알고리즘을 기반으로 최적화한다. 최적의 열처리로 작업 계획을 수립함으로써 공정 비용을 최소화하고 에너지 효율을 극대화할 수 있다.

Optimal Path Planning of a Tractor-implement for Precision Farming (정밀농업을 위한 트랙터-작업기의 최적 경로계획)

  • Path planning for field operation of agricultural machinery is an indispensible part for precision farming or autonomous field operation. In this study, two algorithms (I, II) of generating a time-based shortest operation path were suggested to plan an optimal operation of an agricultural tractor-implement in a rectangular shaped field. The algorithms were based on modification of a minimum spanning tree algorithm, and applied for tractor-implement operations. the generated path was consisted of round operation and returning operation sections. The number of round operation was determined from the condition that a tractor can turn smoothly at headlands. The performance of the algorithms was evaluated by the calculation number for path generation and the total path length generated. Their stability was affected by the number of returning operation, but the algorithm II was considered to be more stable. In addition, the performances of the developed algorithms were compared with those of the conventional field operations at selected field sizes and shapes. The results showed that the algorithms could reduce field operation time greatly. For a 100m$\times$40m field, the reduced path length was 78m. The study also included an user interface program for implementing the algorithms and generating GPS coordinates that could be used in GIS softwares for precision farming.
