A Study on the Fuzzy control of Optimum Design System for Bicycle Frame (자전거 프레임의 최적설계시스템의 퍼지제어에 관한 연구)

  • Leisure bicycles are fabricated in a variety of ways these days. Although, the bicycles are designed and manufactured in a variety of ways by numerous companies, customer has a difficulty in gaining information of bicycle which suits them. Accordingly most of buyers purchase bicycle considering body size. Employing the method is one of the ways to decide bike size on the ground of standard body measurement. However, the method above to purchase bicycle is not appropriate for customer considering his/her body. The research mainly aims to design bicycle which allows buyer to adjust optimal design system by himself/herself considering his/her body size. In addition, a device employing fuzzy controller implemented bicycle run test. Using on the result, the research explored an optimal bicycle system which makes a decision whether a bicycle fits body of customer.

Investigation on Seismic-Response Characteristics and Optimal Design Parameters of Tuned Mass Damper Considering Site Effects (지반특성에 따른 동조질량감쇠기의 지진응답특성 및 최적설계변수)

  • Most previous studies for finding optimal design parameters of a tuned mass damper(TMD) have been focused on the harmonic excited single-degree-of freedom system. In this study, optimal values of damping ratio and tuning frequency ratio of a TMD applied to control a seismically excited structure are investigated through numerical analyses. Considering that the structural responses due to earthquake loads are strongly dependent on the soil condition, the site effects on the optimal parameters of the TMD are studied and compared to those presented by previous studies. Numerical analyses results indicate that better control performance can be obtained by using the parameters proposed by this study in the seismic application of the TMD.

  • 본 논문에서는 퍼지규칙의 수가 적고, 결론부가 선형식으로 표현되는 TSK 퍼지시스템을 이용한다. 본 논문에서 제안되는 적응제어 방법은 규범모델 적응제어 기법을 응용한 것으로 Lyapunov함수를 이용하여 안정성문제를 해결하면서 동시에 최적의 적응법칙을 유도 할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 그리고 역진자 시스템에 대해서 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 적응 퍼지제어기의 설계 방법이 유효함을 보인다.

  • 본 논문은 위상천이 풀브리지 컨버터의 전압 제어기 설계에 있어 게인값의 선정에 따른 위상 이득, 게인 이득을 통해 안정도를 판별하고 게인값에 따른 시스템의 응답특성을 고려하여 최적값을 설계하는데 목표를 두고 있다. MATLAB의 Bode plot을 통해 안정도 및 응답특성을 확인하였고 PSIM 시뮬레이션을 통해 제어가 잘 되는지 확인하였다.

  • Optimal design of fault-tolerant, spatial type redundant manipulators is treated in this paper. Design objective is to guarantte three degree-of -freedom translational motions in the task space, upon failure of one arbitrary joint of 4 degree-of-freedom manipulators. Noticing the nonfault-tolerant characteristics of current, wrist-type industrial manipulators, five different fault-tolerant spatial-type manipulators which have 4 degree-of-freedom structures with one joint redundancy are suggested. Faault-tolerant character-sitics of two redundant manipulators anr investigated based on the analysis of the self-motion and the null-space elements. Finally, in order to maximize the fault-tolerant capability, optimal design is performed for a spatial-type manipulator with respect to the global isotropic index, and the performance enhancement of the optimized case is shown by simulation.

  • 철도차량 하부에 부착되는 전장품 무게는 차량의 바퀴 및 베어링 등 철도차량 수명에 큰 영향을 주기 때문에 경량화는 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 철도 차량용 보조전원장치의 경량화를 위해 LLC 공진형 컨버터를 적용한 보조전원장치 시스템과 제어알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 고속스위칭을 위해 입력단 벅 컨버터를 이용하여 가선 전압을 감압시키고 이후 LLC 공진형 컨버터를 통해 인버터 입력단 전압을 제어한다. 또한, 공진형 컨버터 손실을 최소화하기 위해 ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching) 동작을 하며, 공진 탱크의 최적 설계도 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 알고리즘은 시뮬레이션 및 실험으로 검증한다.

  • This paper presents a design of magnetorheological (MR) damper for control vibration of washing machine. This design is based on the requirements such as small dimensions with high damping force, and minimal consumed energy. The MR damper is designed using the shear mode of MR fluid, and Bingham plastic model is used for optimization process. In this design, a multi-coil design is adopted for damper to enhance damping force and reduce optimally structural parts. In optimization process, ADPL (Ansys Parametric Design Language) program is applied. Base on the optimal parameters, MR damper is manufactured and tested. In evaluation of MR damper, a modified sliding mode control is formulated and applied in both simulation and experiment. Results of experiment show that the MR damper satisfy the requirement of damping force for vibration control of washing machine.

  • This paper is concerned with the design of automatic ship maneuvering system including automatic path tracking controller and automatic berthing controller. The optimal control technique is employed to design the automatic path tracking controller, which is based on the linearized equations of ship motion. The numerical example shows that the automatic path tracking controller is capable of tracking the line between way points which are determined by pilot a priori. The decentralized control technique is employed to design the automatic berthing controller. In addition to the automatic path tracking controller, the fuzzy logic controller is used to control the forward speed. The numerical example shows that the automatic berthing controller can be successfully implemented.

  • A fuzzy traffic controller with the control rules and the membership functions generated by using genetic algorithm is presented for crossroad management. Conventional fuzzy traffic controllers use control rules and membership functions generated by human operators. However, this approach does not guarantee the optimal solution to design fuzzy control system. Genetic algorithm is a good solution for an optimal problem requiring domain-specific knowledge that is often heuristic. In this paper, we use genetic algorithms to automatically determine the near optimal rules and their membership functions of fuzzy traffic controllers. The effectiveness of our method was shown through simulation of crossroad network.

Vibration Control of Flexible Structures Using Controllable ER Mounts : Experimental Investigation (제어 가능한 ER 마운트를 이용한 유연 구조물의 진동제어 : 실험적 고찰)

  • This work presents experimental results on vibration control of flexible structures using the squeeze mode electrorheological(ER) mount. An appropriate size of the squeeze mode ER mount is devised and its field-dependent damping force characteristics are experimentally evaluated. The ER mount is then applied to two different flexible structures : beam structure and frame structure. An optimal controller associated with displacement and acceleration signals is designed to suppress the imposed vibration and experimentally realized using the microprocessor. Vibration control responses of the flexible structures such as acceleration are evaluated in time and frequency domains.
