Optimum Tuning of PID-PD Controller considering Robust Stability and Sensor Noise Insensitivity (센서 잡음 저감도 및 안정-강인성을 고려한 PID-PD 제어기의 최적 동조)

  • In this paper, we propose a tuning method of PID-PD controller to satisfy design specifications in frequency domain as well as time domain. The proposed tuning method of PID-PD controller consists of the convex set of PID and PI-PD controller. PID-PD controller controls the closed-loop response to be located between the step responses, and Bode magnitudes of closed-loop transfer functions controlled by PID and PI-PD controller. The controller is designed by the optimum tuning method to minimize the proposed specific cost function subject to sensor noise insensitivity and robust stability. Its effectiveness is examined by the case study and analysis.

A Study on the Choice of Optimal Mixtures and Sensibility Properties of High Strength Concrete and Mass Concrete to apply the High Rising Building (초고층구조물에 적용하기 위한 고강도콘크리트 및 매스콘크리트의 최적배합선정 및 민감도특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to choose the optimal mixture and to analyze the sensibility properties of High strength concrete and mass concrete to apply the high rising building. The main experimental variables were water/binder ratio $39\%,\;33\%,\;35\%\;and\;37\%$, replacement ratio of fly ash $5\%,\;10\%\;and\;15\%$, in the high strength concrete and water/binder ratio $39\%,\;41\%\;and\;43\%$, replacement ratio of fly ash $10\%,\;20\%\;and\;30\%$, in the man concrete. According to the test results, the principal conclusions are summarized as follows. 1) The slump(or slump flow) and air content of fresh concrete were found to be the highest in the elapsed time 30 minutes. 2) The optimal mixture conditions are W/B $40\%$, FA $25\%$ in the mass concrete and W/B $33.4\%$, FA $15\%$ in the high strength concrete. 3) The ranges of sensibility are satisfied in the moisture content ${\pm}l\%\;and\;S/a\;{\pm}2\%$.

  • 국내 전력설비는 70년대 이후 제3차 경제개발 5개년 계획에 따라 중화학공업의 발전과 함께 급속히 성장해왔다. 과거 개발 위주의 산업구조에서 급속히 팽창한 전력설비는 21세기에 들어서면서 30~40년 장기 사용에 따른 노후화가 진행되었고, 증가하는 전력수요에 대응하기 위한 발전 및 송전 용지 확보의 어려움으로 인하여 전력설비의 신규 증설에 많은 어려움을 격고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 전력설비의 안전성과 신뢰성을 확보하기 위해 적절한 교체시기 선정 및 최적의 자산관리 필요성에 대해서 최근 관심을 가지기 시작하였고, 이러한 전력설비의 최적 자산관리에 핵심적인 전력설비의 상태평가 기술의 발달로 과거 시간기준의 유지보수(Time Based Maintenance)에서 최근 노후설비의 증가와 진단기술의 발달에 따른 예방보전(Preventive Maintenance)에 의한 상태기준 유지보수(Condition Based Maintenance)개념으로 전환되고 있다. 고전압 회전기기(발전기, 전동기)의 상태평가를 위한 핵심기술인 Off-line 부분방전시험이 널리 적용되고 있으며, 본 논문에서는 부분방전 측정 시험 시 대상설비 단자부의 인출케이블에 의한 감도저하 현상에 대해 고찰 하였다.

Optimal Design Method of Quantization of Membership Function and Rule Base of Fuzzy Logic Controller using the Genetic Algorithm (유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 퍼지논리 제어기 소속함수의 양자화와 제어규칙의 최적 설계방식)

  • In this paper, we proposed a method that optimal values of fuzzy control rule base and quantization of membership function are searched by genetic algorithm. Proposed method searched the optimal values of membership function and control rules using genetic algorithm by off-line. Then fuzzy controller operates using these values by on-line. Proposed fuzzy control system is optimized the control rule base and membership function by genetic algorithm without expert's knowledge. We investigated proposed method through simulation and experiment using DC motor and one link manipulator, and confirmed the following usefulness.

  • The selection of the optimal position of the flap was performed in order to improve the aerodynamic performance during the take-off and landing processes of aircraft. For this, the existing airfoils of the main wing and flap are selected as the baseline model and the lift coefficients (cl) according to angle of attacks (AOA) were calculated with the change of the position of flap airfoil. The objective function was defined as the consideration of the maximum cl, lift to drag ratio and cl at certain AOA. Then, at 121 experimental points within $20mm{\times}20mm$ domain, two dimensional flow simulations with Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model were performed concerning the AOA from 0 to 15 degree. If the optimal position was located at the domain boundary, the domain moved to the optimal position. These processes were iterated until the position was included in the inside of the domain. From these processes, the flow separation at low AOA was removed and cl increased linearly comparing with that of the baseline model.

  • Kinematic calibration enhances absolute accuracy by compensating for the fabrication tolerances and installation errors. Effectiveness of calibration procedures depends greatly on the measurements performed. This paper investigates identifiable parameters and optimum postures for four different calibration procedures - measuring postures completely with inverse kinematic residuals, measuring postures completely with forward kinematics residuals, measuring only the three position components, and restraining the mobility of the end-effector using a constraint link. The study is performed for a six degree-of-freedom fully parallel HexaSlide type parallel manipulator, HSM. Results verify that all parameters are identifiable with complete posture measurements. For the case of position measurements, one and for the case of constraint link, three parameters were found non-identifiable. Selecting postures for measurement is also an important issue for efficient calibration procedure. Typically, the condition number of the identification Jacobian is minimized to find optimum postures. Optimal postures showed the same trend of orienting themselves on the boundaries of the search space.

  • 강변저류지는 국내에서 천변저류지라는 이름으로 2000년 초반부터 관련 연구가 시작되었으며, 기존의 하천연안 저지대 및 홍수터를 활용하여 제방의 일부 구간에 취수부를 설치, 하천의 계획홍수를 초가하거나 일정수위 이상의 홍수가 발생할 때 초과하는 홍수량을 저류하여 하류의 첨두홍수를 저감시키는 소규모 수공구조물이다. 이러한 강변저류지는 off-line 형식으로 2차원적인 홍수량 분담을 통해 홍수량을 조절하여, 홍수조절효과가 확실하고 그 효과가 즉시 나타나는 특징이 있다. 또한 한 대상유역 내에 다수의 대상지역이 존재하게 된다. 하지만 이들 후 보지 전체에 강변저류지를 설치하는 것은 다수의 제약조건에 의해 불가능하며 대상유역의 어느 후보지에 강변저류지를 설치한다는 문제를 해결하기위해 기존에 수행되었던 연구들은 각각의 장단점이 있으며 이들 연구의 가장 큰 문제는 의사결정을 위해 사용되는 변수의 통합과정에서 발생될 수 있는 오류가 있다는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 다수의 기준과 변수에 의해 결정되어진 강변저류지의 설치 우선순위들을 다차원척도법(Multi-Dimensional Scaling)를 이용하여 최종적인 하나의 순위를 도출하는 것으로 기존에 수행되었던 연구결과의 장점을 포함하며, 보다 많은 변수를 고려할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Polymer Electrolyte Membranes for Flexible Electrochromic Device (플렉시블 전기변색 소자를 위한 고분자 전해질 멤브레인)

  • In this study, the optimum design conditions of a polymer electrolyte membrane for application to a flexible electrochromic device (ECD) were tried to be derived. Polyvinyl butyral (PVB) with excellent adhesive property and transparency was selected as the base polymer for the preparation of the electrolyte membrane, and adipate-based polymer was used as the plasticizer. As a result, it was confirmed that the most influential factors on the ECD performance were the ionic conductivity and permeability of the electrolyte membrane. In addition, it was found that the factor has a close relationship with the dissociation property of the lithium salt. Overall, the optimal ECD performance was achieved when LiTFSI salt having a large anion size among various lithium salts was dissolved in a content of about 25 wt.%.

  • The OpenDaylight controller has been receiving significant attention as one of the enabling open source framework for SDN, and this paper analyzes the architecture and procedure of OpenDaylight based controller cluster. The OpenDaylight controller cluster uses shard based distributed datastore and Raft algorithm to maintain consistency among controllers inside a cluster. The performance evaluation analyzes the leader re-election time as well as latencies of CRUD and Routed RPC according to cluster size, shard role, and sharding strategy, and we discuss the optimal operation strategy for OpenDaylight controller cluster.

  • A mathematical model for a long range water supply planning is developed as a dynamic capacitated facility location problem, in which operating costs and two types of fixed costs are considered. The fixed costs are for water supply systems such as dams and reservoirs and for water conveyance systems of waterways or conduits from each water supply points. A spreadsheet model is developed to support the efficiency of user interface and to implement a heuristic solution procedure. The proposed solution procedure utilizes SOLVER tool and it has been applied to a system with fictitious data but with reality and applicability in mind. As a result of the mathematical analysis, not only the most economic construction timings of surface water facilities and distribution systems but also the most economical water supply operating patterns are identified.
