CEM-PF: Cost-Effective Mobility Management Scheme Based on Pointer Forwarding in Proxy Mobile IPv6 Networks (프록시 모바일 IPv6 네트워크에서 포인터 포워딩에 기반한 비용효과적인 이동성관리 기법)

  • We propose efficient mobility management schemes based on pointer forwarding for Proxy Mobile IPv6 Networks(PMIPv6) with the objective to reduce the overall network traffic incurred by mobility management and packet delivery. The proposed schemes are per-user-based, i.e., the optimal threshold of the forwarding chain length that minimizes the overall network traffic is dynamically determined for each individual mobile user, based on the user's specific mobility and service patterns. We demonstrate that there exists an optimal threshold of the forwarding chain length, given a set of parameters characterizing the specific mobility and service patterns of a mobile user. We also demonstrate that our schemes yield significantly better performance than schemes that apply a static threshold to all mobile users. A comparative analysis shows that our pointer forwarding schemes outperform routing-based mobility management protocols for PMIPv6.

DEM Generation by the Matching Line Using Exterior Orientation Parameters of the IKONOS Geo Imagery (IKONOS 위성영상의 외부표정요소로부터 정합선 수립에 의한 DEM 생성)

  • This study determines the optimum polynomial of exterior orientation parameters(EOPs) as a function of line number of linear array scanner. To estimate priori EOPs, meta data of IKONOS scene and ground control points are used. We select a first order polynomial and a constant for position elements modeling and rotation elements modeling. Positioning accuracy of the determined EOPs is compared with that of RPCs bias-corrected by the least squares adjustment. There is almost no difference between accuracies of the two methods. To obtain digital elevation model(DEM), matching line is established by the EOPs. The DEM is compared with DEM generated by ERDAS IMAGINE software, which utilizes the bias-corrected RPCs. Height differences of DEMs by the two methods are ranged within a allowable standard deviation. The produced DEM, therefore, shows accuracy similar to the verified method.

여명궤도의 반복지상궤적 유지를 위한 궤도최적화 S/W 개발

  • 한 기의 영상레이더 위성을 이용하여 동일한 촬영지역에 대해 적절한 기선벡터(Baseline)을 유지하는 두 장(scene)의 영상을 획득하여 그 지역의 정밀 표고차를 추출하는 레이더 간섭계(Interferometry) 임무를 수행하기 위해서는 반복지상궤적을 유지하도록 위성의 궤도를 주기적으로 조정해 주어야 한다. 이 연구에서는 반복지상궤적 유지 정밀도를 극대화시키기 위하여 최적의 기준궤도를 생성하고 이를 유지하기 위한 속도증분 및 궤도 조정 일정을 산출할 수 있는 궤도최적화 S/W 를 개발하였다. 이 연구의 최적 궤도 설계 문제는 다음과 같다. "시작시간 $T_0$에서 초기 접촉궤도 상태벡터 (ECEF 위치 및 속도벡터) $x_0$이고, 지상궤적반복주기 p 이후의 시간 $T_0+p$에서도 초기 접촉궤도 상태벡터와 동일한$x_0$가 되도록 궤도를 유지하려고 할 때, 여명 궤도(dawn-dusk and sun-synchronous orbit)에서 운영되는 위성의 연료소모(또는 속도증분)를 최소화시키는 가상의 궤도조정(maneuver) 횟수, 시기, 크기를 찾아라." 이 연구에서는 궤도최적화 문제를 풀기 위하여 GRACE 중력모델(GGM02C)이 적용된 수치적 방법의 위성궤도예측 알고리즘을 시스템 설계에 적용하였고, 매개변수 최적화 방법 중 구속조건이 있는 비선형 최적화 기법의 하나인 연속 2차 계획법(sequential quadratic programming)을 사용하여 해를 구하였다. 개발된 궤도최적화 S/W의 성능을 분석하기 위하여 고도 550km의 여명궤도를 돌며 지상궤적반복주기가 28일인 영상레이더 위성에 대해 적용하였다. 해석 결과를 통해, 비록 시스템의 비선형이 큼에도 불구하고 최소의 속도증분으로 정밀한 반복지상궤적이 유지됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper defines a multi-selection knapsack problem and presents an algorithm for seeking its optimal solution. Multi-selection means that all members of the particular group be selected or excluded. Our branch-and-bound algorithm introduces a simplex containing the feasible region of the original problem to exploit the fact that the most tightly underestimating function on the simplex is linear. In bounding operation, the subproblem defined over the candidate simplex is minimized. During the branching process the candidate simplex is splitted into two one-less dimensional subsimplices by being projected onto two hyperplanes. The approach of this paper can be applied to solving the global minimization problems under various types of the knapsack constraints.

Development and validation of an analytical method for pyrimisulfan determination in agricultural commodities by LC-MS/MS (LC-MS/MS를 이용한 농산물 중 pyrimisulfan 잔류량 분석법 개발 및 확인)

  • The maximum residue limits of pyrimisulfan is set as 0.05 mg/kg in rice in 2011, so very reliable and sensitive analytical method for pyrimisulfan residues is required for ensuring the food safety of pyrimisulfan residues in agricultural products. In this study, a rapid and sensitive analytical method was developed and validated using liquid chromatography electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) for the determination of herbicide pyrimisulfan residues in agricultural products. Average recoveries of pyrimisulfan ranged from 88.7 to 99.3% at the spiked level of 0.005 mg/kg and from 90.1 to 94.2% at the spiked level of 0.05 mg/kg, while the relative standard deviation was less than 10%. Linear range of pyrimisulfan was between 0.01~1.0 ${\mu}g/mL$ with the correlation coefficient ($r^2$) 0.999 and limit of quantification was 0.005 mg/kg. The results of method validation were satisfied Codex guideline. The results revealed that the developed and validated analytical method is possible for pyrimisulfan determination in agricultural product samples and will be used as an official analytical method.

Study of the Priority of Baby Boomer Policy: Emotional Psychology through Analytic Hierarchy (AHP 분석방법을 통한 감성심리 기반의 베이비부머 정책 우선순위 결정)

  • As the social interest of the Baby Boomer generation is increasing, this study derives implications for lifelong education policy through identification of the need and support for lifelong education among baby boomers lifelong learning, taking into account such aspects of quality of life as emotional psychology-based self-development and self-realization. To optimally explore support for lifelong learning for the baby-boomer generation, first-tier (top-level), sixth-tier (bottom-level), and five-other evaluation criteria were available. For the first layer, we examined whether potentiality or realizability was more desirable, and for the second layer, detailed criteria for realizability were set up, dividing them into financial, legal, and administrative feasibility. A study conducted by experts on the policy priority analysis of Baby Boomers showed that their support for lifelong learning places a greater priority on its feasibility (the more feasible alternative) than desire (the more desirable option). Among the six criteria, lifestyle activities had high priority, and the relative importance of the five assessment alternatives for lifetime learning activities was shown to be higher for employment skills education (0.377), civil participation education (0.181), lifestyle activities (0.200), and 'lifetime activities' (06.11). These results are meaningful: they can help shape and refine the needs of lifelong education, assess their relative importance, and prepare basic data for lifelong learning policies for baby boomers who are about to enter their old age.

A Selection of Optimal Weighting matrix for Model Following Multivariable Control System to Boiler-Turbine Equipment Using GA (GA를 이용한 보일러-터빈 설비의 모델 추종형 다변수 제어 시스템 설계를 위한 취적 가중치 행렬의 선정)

  • The aim of this paper is to suggest a design method of the optimal model following control system using gerelic algoritlun (GA). This control system is designed by applying GA with reference model to the optimal determinination of weighting matrices Q, R that are given by LQ regulator prooblem. The method to do this is that all the diagooal elements of weighting matrices are optimized simultaneously by GA, in the search domain selected adequately. And, we design the mxiel following control system to boiler-turbine equipment by the proposed mothod. The model following control system designed by this mothod has the better command tracking perfannaoce than that of the control system designed by the trial-and-error method. The effectiveness of this cootrol System is verified by computer simulation.

Conversion of Flood Level and Flood Frequency Analysis for Goan Station in Han River (한강 고안지점의 홍수위 환산과 홍수 빈도해석)

  • In this study, the past flood levels of Goan station, which is one of major gaging stations and located at downstream of Paldang dam, were converted based on the 1994's cross section and the flood quantiles were estimated from flood frequency analysis. The recently established rating curve was used to convert flood levels. And the parameters of the several probability distributions commonly used in hydrologic analysis were estimated based on the method of probability weighted moments and the goodness of fit tests were applied to those distributions. As a result, the gamma-2 and gamma-3 distributions were selected as the appropriate models. The flood lovels and quantiles for selected return periods were calculated based on those distributions. Furthermore, frequency analysis using historical flood information was performed to overcome the misleading caused by missing data.

The effectiveness of this $H_{\infty}$ control system is verified by computer simulation.
