  • Information is increasing continuously in on-line, it is real condition that inaccurate informations are mass-produced but effort to keep accuracy of these informations is lacking. Already, research about government official of information in World Wide Web is consisting of various method and viewpoint, but problem for the importance of correct information offer and offer of mistake information in World Wide Web about specification target and administration way presentation are no research reward yet and system that can keep accuracy of information is not equiped properly. ss and accuracy whether mistake information in harbor and bay connection web site's administration influences how in authoritativeness security of site and present condition information of harbor and bay and operation information. In this study, we wish to present administration way about mistake informations that is required that recognize problem of mistake information and the administration's importance in on-line in this research, and supply phenomenon information in Web site. We made the right definition about mistake of information through priority literature investigation and virtued research for this, and sorted mistake information in type. And we investigated Pusan port connection information and offered present condition in on-line and research on actual state of mistake information offer and analysis. Reflecting type and special quality of examined mistake informations, We want to make people recognize the importance af freshness and accuracy whether mistake information in harbor and bay connection web site's administration influences how in authoritativeness security of site and present condition information of harbor and bay and operation information.

GIS based Effective Methodology for GAS Accident Management (GIS를 이용한 효율적인 가스사고관리 방법에 관한 연구)

  • Nowadays, the gas utilities have been increasing constantly due to the expansion of the urban areas. Using computerized information database, the gas companies have developed a gas management system in order to maintain the current status. However, this system can only give basic functions of the maintenance and management of the gas facilities and it has no proper utilities to provide information against accidents from gas leaks. Therefore, a gas accident management system has been developed in this study. Through primary and secondary pipe searching algorithm realtime based management system was devised against gas leaks to propose proper actions. In addition, supporting decision making has been enabled providing estimated maximum amount of gas leaks. Furthermore, all the residential units could be identified thereby minimizing damages through early warning. This system can be expected to contribute to enhance the efficiency of the gas management not to mention of protecting human lives and properties of the nation.

  • The rapid change of industrial structure causes to increase distribution cost and requires necessity of physical distribution system urgently. Traffic situation is getting extremely worse and traffic jam has led to increasing expense of physical distribution delivery which dominates 20% of distribution cost. In this situation, the shortest and most suitable path search system is required by modern people who must waste a lot of time for moving with a car or on the street as well as many companies. for these reasons, we developed the shortest-path-searching system applying the dijkstra algorithm which is one of the effective shortest path algorithm to GIS, and it was constructed by considering realistic urban traffic and the pattern of street in a physical situation. Also, this system was developed to be updated weight data automatically, considering the dynamic change of traffic situation such as a traffic information service which will be served in real time. Finally, we designed this system to serve on web by using MapObjects IMS.

  • The Special Act on Safety Control for Infrastructure was enacted in 1995 to contribute to ensuring the public safety and welfare improvement of Korean people. In addition, the FMS has been developed and operated to manage facilities effectively. However, several problems of the FMS have also occurred. Thus, this study aimed to analyze the FMS and related systems scrutinizingly to suggest improvement directions such as (1) extension of the FMS into the national facility information management system including small-size facilities other than Types 1 and 2 facilities, (2) development and promote standardized inspection and diagnosis systems as per facility type, (3) development of the database utilization system including decision making support function for management body, and (4) providing the FMS performance improvements and stable operating environment utilizing latest information technologies. If the improvement directions suggested in this study are adopted, they can improve services for Korean people by providing facility safety and maintenance work parties with optimum information services.

  • The evaluation AP embedded Linux board is implemented. The board is made of IBM 405 GP processor, PPCBoot-1.2.1 boot loader, Linux-2.4.21 kernel and root file system. The evaluation board has two flash memories, boot flash and application flash of size 512Kbyte and 16Mbyte, respectively. And it supports IEEE 802.11a which provide the maximum throughput of 54Mbps in the 5.2GHz frequency band. MTD(Memory Technology Device) and JFFS2(Journalling Flash File System version 2) technologies are adopted to optimally package the system software, boot loader, kernel and root file system. And in order to optimize root file system, busybox package and tiny login are used. Linux kernel and root file system is combined together with mkimage utility.

  • In order to extend the activity range of visually impaired persons, we design and implement a navigation system that supports road information services and points of interest. The proposed navigation system consists of route creation modules and storage modules for visually impaired persons. In particular, the main interface of the navigation system are implemented using TTS(Text-to-Speech) program for sound and braille module that outputs braille with sense of touch. We also use google map APIs that can provide latest map information for the navigation system.

  • 인터넷의 급속한 성장과 더불어 사용자들은 인터넷을 통해 많은 정보를 얻을 수 있게 되었으며 최신 뉴스를 실시간으로 접근할 수 있게 되었다. 이에 따라 방대한 정보 속에 사용자 관심사에 맞는 정보를 효과적으로 검색하기 위한 여러 방법들이 연구되어 왔다. 하지만 기존의 많은 선행 연구들은 단어 빈도 기반의 키워드 벡터 모델을 이용하여 사용자의 관심사를 학습하고 있다. 이러한 키워드 벡터 모델은 사용자의 선호도를 명확하게 기술하지 못하고 키워드를 이용한 특징 벡터 (feature-vector)는 개념들 사이의 관계를 찾기 어려운 한계를 가지고 있다. 이를 개선하기 위해 본 논문에선 계층적 개념 인덱싱(Hierarchical Concept Indexing)을 이용한 온톨로지 형태의 개인화된 사용자 프로파일을 만드는 방법을 제안한다. 생성된 사용자 프로파일에 개념 간의 유사도와 개념에 대한 사용자의 관심도를 고려하여 보다 개인의 선호도에 맞는 기사를 제공한다. 실험에서는 제안된 방법의 성능 평가를 위해서 기존의 키워드 벡터 모델의 학습 방법인 WebMate 시스템과 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 제안하는 방법이 키워드 벡터를 이용한 학습 방법보다 향상된 성능을 보였다.

  • If the location information of a great number of cars kept for business with telematics terminals is acquired and managed efficiently, this information forms the foundation for controlling cars and traffic flows. The studies on the pure spatial indices have focused on the efficient retrievals. However, the acquisition and management of the terminal location of moving objects are more important than the efficiency of the query processing in the moving object databases. Therefore, it will be need to adopt parallel processing system for the moving object databases which should maintain the object's current location as precise as possible. This paper proposes a location management system using CDMA communications of telematics terminals. More precisely, we propose a architecture of spatial indexing mobile objects using multiple processors, and also newly propose a method of splitting buckets using the properties of moving objects in order to minimize the number of database updates. We also propose a acquisition method for gathering the location information of moving objects and passing the information of the bucket extents in order to reduce the amount of passed messages between processors.

  • Various countries around the world are conducting various studies to apply information and communication technology to marine safety. Based on this, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has established the e-Navigation standard to apply the latest information and communication technology to marine services. In Korea, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries is promoting Korean e-navigation considering domestic marine environment and is trying to apply LTE communication method as a high-speed wireless communication method at sea. In this paper, we describe the development of an LTE based marine router system supporting 700Mhz frequency band allocated for high speed maritime wireless communication service. Experiments on the possibility of 100km distance communication from base station using LTE based ship router are shown. LTE - based high - speed maritime wireless communication router system can provide communication infrastructure necessary to develop various accident prevention technologies that may occur at sea.

  • The global occurrence of myriad natural disasters and incidents, catalyzed by climate change and extreme meteorological conditions, has engendered substantial human and material losses. International organizations such as the International Charter have established an enduring collaborative framework for real-time coordination to provide high-resolution satellite imagery and geospatial information. These resources are instrumental in the management of large-scale disaster scenarios and the expeditious execution of recovery operations. At the national level, the operational deployment of advanced National Earth Observation Satellites, controlled by National Geographic Information Institute, has not only catalyzed the advancement of geospatial data but has also contributed to the provisioning of damage analysis data for significant domestic and international disaster events. This special edition of the National Disaster Management Research Institute delineates the contemporary landscape of major disaster incidents in the year 2023 and elucidates the strategic blueprint of the government's national disaster safety system reform. Additionally, it encapsulates the most recent research accomplishments in the domains of artificial satellite systems, information and communication technology, and spatial information utilization, which are paramount in the institution's disaster situation management and analysis efforts. Furthermore, the publication encompasses the most recent research findings relevant to data collection, processing, and analysis pertaining to disaster cause and damage extent. These findings are especially pertinent to the institute's on-site investigation initiatives and are informed by cutting-edge technologies, including drone-based mapping and LiDAR observation, as evidenced by a case study involving the 2023 landslide damage resulting from concentrated heavy rainfall.
