Design of Drone for Underwater Monitoring and Net Cleaning for Aquaculture Farm (양식장 수중 모니터링 및 그물망 청소용 드론 설계)

  • Conventional underwater cameras used in fish farms can only shoot limited areas and are vulnerable to underwater contamination. There is also a problem with contaminated farms as surplus residues are deposited as a result of feed supply to farms' nets. This paper proposes underwater drones for underwater monitoring of fish farms and cleaning nets. If underwater drones are used for management of fish farms, underwater imaging, monitoring and cleaning of fish farms' nets can be possible. By using this technology, data can be collected by detecting changes in the environment of a fish farm and responding to changes that occur within a fish farm based on the data. In addition, the establishment of an integrated control system will enable to build efficient and stable smart farms.

  • Drones, one of the 4th industrial technologies that are expanding from military use to industrial use, are being actively used in the search missions of the National Police Agency and finding missing persons, thereby reducing interest in a wide area and the input of large-scale search personnel. However, legal review of police drone operation is continuously required, and the importance of advanced system for related operations and analysis of captured images in connection with search techniques is increasing at the same time. In this study, in order to facilitate recording, preservation, and monitoring in the concept of precise search and monitoring, it is possible to achieve high efficiency and secure golden time when precise search is performed by constructing spatial information based on photo rather than image data-based search. Therefore, we intend to propose a spatial information construction technique that reduces the resulting data volume by adjusting the unnecessary spatial information completion rate according to the size of the subject. Through this, the scope of use of drone search missions for large-scale areas is advanced and it is intended to be used as basic data for building a drone operation manual for police searches.

  • Recently, the RPAS(Remote Piloted Aircraft System), by remote control and autonomous navigation, has been increasing in interest and utilization in various industries and public organizations along with delivery drones, fire drones, ambulances, agricultural drones, and others. The problems of the stability of unmanned drones, which can be self-controlled, are also the biggest challenge to be solved along the development of the drone industry. drones should be able to fly in the specified path the autonomous flight control system sets, and perform automatically an accurate landing at the destination. This study proposes a technique to check arrival by landing point images and control landing at the correct point, compensating for errors in location data of the drone sensors and GPS. Receiving from the Google Map API and learning from the destination video, taking images of the landing point with a drone equipped with a NAVIO2 and Raspberry Pi, camera, sending them to the server, adjusting the location of the drone in line with threshold, Drones can automatically land at the landing point.

  • A drone has been popularized to such an extent as to be seen in the near parks recently. The drone refers to an unmanned aerial vehicle(UVA) which can fly and be steered by a radio wave without a pilot and it has a airplane or helicopter shape. The drone was first started to be used from military purpose, but its usage has been expanded to the private such as broadcast shooting, crop-dusting, field discovery and hobby. However the drone that we can see often in the market is expansive, hard to be repaired when it broken down and has a discomfort of the short flight time. In this paper, to solve an uncomfortable talk on the cheap ATmega128 Using (Quad copter) drone for implementation.   • Since 1910s, the drones were mainly used for military purposes for reconnaissance and attack targets, but they are now being used in various fields such as disaster prevention, exploration, broadcasting, and surveillance of risk areas. As drones are widely used from military to civilian field, hacking into the drones such as radio disturbance, GPS spoofing, hijacking, etc. targeting drones has begun to occur. Recently, the use of drones in hacking into wireless network has been reported. If the artificial intelligence technology is applied to the drones in the military, hacking into unmanned combat system using drones will occur. In addition, a drone with a hacking program may be able to relay a hacking program to the hacking drone located far away, just as a drone serves as a wireless communication station. And the drones will be equipped with a portable GPS jamming device, which will enable signal disturbance to unmanned combat systems. In this paper, we propose security threats and the anticipated hacking scenarios using the drones on the battlespace to know the seriousness of the security threats by hacking drones and prepare for future cyberspace.

  • In recent years, Drone(lightweight unmanned aerial vehicle) is used for broadcast shooting, disaster scene, leisure, observation and military purposes. However, as the use of drones increases the threat of hacking is also rising. Especially when a flying drone is seized, a dangerous situation can occur which is abused regardless of the driver's intention. Already in Iran and China, there is a case of hacking and stealing the drones of other countries under reconnaissance. In this paper, we analyze the security vulnerabilities of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication in wireless network which are used in drones for stealing the commercial drones. The results provide a countermeasure to safeguard the drones against attempts by the unauthorized attacker to take out the drones.

  • 방송예술 및 콘텐츠 제작 역량을 교육시키는 방송예술특성화 대학으로서 C3(Creativity, Convergence, Contents) 방송예술 창의융합교육 모델인 융합수업을 개설하고 전체 학과에서 신청한 학생들을 대상으로 교육을 진행하였다. 융합수업은 전공이 다른 학생들이 희망하는 콘텐츠 제작과정을 수강하고, 방송사와 산업체에서 실무경험이 풍부한 교수와 전문가들이 직접 콘텐츠 제작을 지도함으로써 고품질의 수준 높은 콘텐츠 제작 교육을 경험할 수 있는 수업이다. 즉, 재학 중 학교수업을 통해 미리 현장 경험을 쌓음으로써 취업 즉시 콘텐츠 제작 역량을 발휘할 수 있는 자신감 함양과 제작현장에 기여할 수 있는 융합형 인재양성 교육프로그램인 것이다. 본 연구에서는 대학이 보유하고 있는 방송용 버츄얼 스튜디오를 활용한 가상 세트 영상 제작 교육 『영화담』을 제작하는 융합수업과 드론 항공촬영을 활용한 제작교육 『드론 탐사대』 융합수업을 실시하여 첨단 기술을 활용한 콘텐츠 협업 제작의 효과와 학생들의 만족도를 분석하였다.

Intuitive Controller based on G-Sensor for Flying Drone (비행 드론을 위한 G-센서 기반의 직관적 제어기)

  • In recent years, high-performance flying drones attract attention for many peoples. In particular, the drone equipped with multi-rotor is expanding its range of utilization in video imaging, aerial rescue, logistics, monitoring, measurement, military field, etc. However, the control function of its controller is very simple. In this study, using a G-sensor mounted on a mobile device, implements an enhanced controller to control flying drones through the intuitive gesture of user. The implemented controller improves the gesture recognition performance using a neural network algorithm.

Insurance system for legal settlement of drone accidents (드론사고의 법적 구제에 관한 보험제도)

  • Recently, as the use of drones increases, the risk of drone accidents and third-party property damage is also increasing. In Korea, due to the recent increase in drone use, accidents have been frequently reported in the media. The number of reports from citizens, and military and police calls regarding illegal or inappropriate drone use has also been increasing. Drone operators may be responsible for paying damages to third parties due to drone accidents, and are liable for paying settlements due to illegal video recording. Therefore, it is necessary to study the idea of providing drone insurance, which can mitigate the liability and risk caused by drone accidents. In the US, comprehensive housing insurance covers damages caused by recreational drones around the property. In the UK, when a drone accident occurs, the drone owner or operator bears strict liability. Also, in the UK, drone insurance joining obligation depends on the weight of the drones and their intended use. In Germany, in the event of personal or material damage, drone owner bears strict liability as long as their drone is registered as an aircraft. Germany also requires by law that all drone owners carry liability insurance. In Korea, insurance is required only for "ultra-light aircraft use businesses, airplane rental companies and leisure sports businesses," where the aircraft is "paid for according to the demand of others." Therefore, it can be difficult to file claims for third party damages caused by unmanned aerial vehicles in personal use. Foreign insurance companies are selling drone insurance that covers a variety of damages that can occur during drone accidents. Some insurance companies in Korea also have developed and sell drone insurance. However, the premiums are very high. In addition, drone insurance that addresses specific problems related to drone accidents is also lacking. In order for drone insurance to be viable, it is first necessary to reduce the insurance premiums or rates. In order to trim the excess cost of drone insurance premiums, drone flight data should be accessible to the insurance company, possibly provided by the drone pilot project. Finally, in order to facilitate claims by third parties, it is necessary to study how to establish specific policy language that addresses drone weight, location, and flight frequency.

  • 최근 물 사용에 대한 각 부문 간의 경쟁이 심화되고 있으며, 미래 기후변화에 대응하기 위해 체계적이고 효율적인 수자원 활용이 요구되고 있다. 농업용수는 우리나라 수자원의 40% 이상을 차지하고 있지만, 생활용수, 공업용수와 달리 경험에 기반한 관행적 관리가 이루어지고 있어 체계적인 관리가 필요하다. 농업용수의 체계적 관리와 분석을 위해 최신화된 수혜면적 파악 및 수혜구역 내 수로 네트워크 구축은 필수적 요소이다. 현재 활용하고 있는 농업용 저수지 수혜면적 및 수로 자료는 한국농어촌공사의 RIMS 자료를 기반으로 하고 있다. 하지만 기존 자료의 경우 준공 당시 설계기준으로 작성되거나 수년 전 갱신된 자료로 최신현황을 반영하지 못하고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 보완하기 위해 직접 측량을 통한 자료 취득 또는 농림축산식품부의 스마트팜맵과 같은 대체, 보완자료가 활용되고 있다. 직접 측량의 경우 최신화된 정확한 자료 취득이 가능하지만, 많은 시간이 소요되며, 스마트팜맵의 경우 취득 주기가 1~2년으로 주기에 따라 최신자료의 활용이 어려울 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 자료 산정 시간 단축 및 최신자료 취득을 위해 고해상도 영상을 활용하고자 하였으며, 여주시 삼합저수지를 대상으로 검증하였다. 영상자료로는 위성영상, 항공영상, 드론영상을 활용하였으며, 위성영상의 경우 구글어스 프로의 2020년 11월 고해상도 영상, 국토리지정보원의 2019~2020년 51cm급 항공 영상, 2020년 10월 촬영한 4cm급 드론영상을 사용하였다. 수혜면적 산정은 기존 RIMS 자료와 스마트팜맵을 통해 확인한 수혜면적에서 영상을 통해 확인한 토지이용 변경지역을 추출하여 재산정하였으며, 수로 네트워크의 경우 RIMS 자료를 기반으로 드론영상을 통해 확인된 수로 추가 및 DEM (Digital Elevation Model) 영상을 활용한 용수 흐름도 작성을 통해 구축하였다. 본 연구에서 재산정한 수혜면적과 수로 네트워크는 정확한 용수 수요량 및 공급량 산정, 관개 효율 분석 등과 같은 농업용수 분석 전반에 기초자료로 활용 가능할 것으로 판단된다.
