다중 적층 초전도선재의 전류분포가 교류손실에 미치는 영향 (Effect of AC Loss on the Current Distribution in the Multi-stacked Superconducting Tapes)

  • 병렬선재를 사용하여 권선을 제작할 경우 구성하는 초전도 선재의 임피던스의 차이에 의하여 통전전류 불균형이 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 BSCCO 선재를 사용하여 제작된 병렬선재에서 전류불균형 분포에 따른 교류손실을 측정하였다. 4 가닥 병렬선재의 경우 전류 불균형이 발생한 선재에서의 교류손실이 전류 불균형이 일어나지 않을 때보다 2배 이상 증가함을 확인하였다.

  • It is certain that the power quality will be very important at 21 century. Especially instant power shortage or power fault will occur serious problems. Accordingly stable power supplication is very technical problem. There are many way to make stable supplication as auxiliary generator, but this is long time delay complement. To solve this problem the superconducting magnetic energy storage is introduced. High Tc superconductor is more commercial.

  • To solve the problems in the present ree1-to-reel deposition method, we have developed a new deposition system for a 12m long YBCO coated conductor. The system comprises two chambers, a reaction chamber and a evaporation chamber which are connected through window. A tan long fi tape textured by RABiTS was wound around a cylinderical sample holder of 20cm diameter. The cylinder was rotated in the reaction chamber during deposition of YBCO film by coevaporation. We'll describe the details of the performance of this system as well as the RABiTS process for a 12m long Ni tape.

  • We evaluated the electrical properties of 37 multifilamentary jointed tapes processed by superconducting joint. In the superconducting joining method. a lap-joint was used. Tapes were selectively etched and exposed superconducting cores of the two tapes were brought into contact with each other and then only the joined region was uniaxially pressed in the range of 1,000 to 2,500 MPa. The current carrying capacity and n-value of the jointed tape were evaluated as a function of uniaxial pressure. The highest current carrying capacity and n-value were obtained to be 58%, 26% for the jointed tape to the tape itself.

  • High-T$_{c}$, superconducting wire is very important element for the application of electrical power systems. But it is very difficult to develope the long high T, wire with excellent properties. BiSrCaCuO multi-layer tapes are fabricated by a rolling method and pressing method sintered for several step at 840.deg. C. The critical current densities of 637 filament multi-layer tapes sintering 100 hours fabricated by the rolling method and pressing method are 1.3*10$^{4}$ A/cm$^{2}$ and 5.5*10$^{3}$ A/cm$^{2}$. The critical cur-rent densites of multi-layer tapes made by rolling method are found to be better than those fabricated by the powder-in-tube method and pressing process. As result, the rolling method is the best way to fabricated the multi-layer filament.t.

  • The hall probe measurement system was used to measure the critical current distribution of superconducting coated conductor. The system consists of reel to reel moving apparatus, 7 array hall probe, a rotary encoder and permanent magnet. The magnetic field profile across the width of superconducting coated conductor using Bean's critical state model was calculated. The effect of various parameters of the formulas on the magnetic field distribution and the effect of shape and size of artificial defects, which were formed on the surface of SmBa2Cu3O7-d(SmBCO) coated conductor using laser marking system, on the hall probe magnetic field signal of the hall probe measurement system was investigated.

  • The effect of twisting on the microstructural evolution and critical current of BSCCO superconductor tape has been evaluated. Twisting pitches of the tapes are in the range of 8-70 mm and uniformly deformed. The critical current of twisted tape was dependent on the twist pitch. Specifically, it was observed that the critical current decreased with decreasing twist pitch, and only 50% of critical current was retained when the tape was twisted to a pitch of 8 mm. This reduction of the critical current may be related to the interface irregularity, smaller grain size, worse texture and the presence of cracks due to the induced strain during the twisting processing.

  • In this paper, for the study on the fabrication of YBCO superconductor wire, a double layered YBCO superconductor wire was fabricated by electrophoretic method on metal Ag wire(${\Psi}$0.8 mm). On the basis of previous researches for the fabrication of superconductor wire, the acetone suspension solution with 8 vol.% of 1% PEG(1000) was used and high molecular adhesive was experimentally performed for an improvement of the critical current density of superconductor wire. It was found that the Ag inter-layer deposited on the superconductor wire affect to the state of second YBCO film and its critical current density.

  • The MRI Magnet is a most practical application of NbTi superconductor. In this paper, we present the main research results on superconducting wires for MRI magnet which we have developed. Cu/NbTi superconducting wires were fabricated by repeat of cold working and heat-treating process after that billets were extruded. We investigated the relation of superconductivities of wires and heat treatment condition. The correlation between cross section shape of wires and work inhomogeneity of NbTi rods was investigated by microscopic observation. The more repeatation number of cold working and heat-treating process, the higher critical current is achieved.
