This study is to develop vinegar with germinated brown rice and red pepper (Capsicum annuum) for effective use of the rice and red pepper. The vinegar was prepared using the wine fermented from the germinated brown rice supplemented with 10~50% red pepper. Acetic acid fermentation was carried out with 6% (w/v) initial ethanol concentration, at $30^{\circ}C$. pH values decreased from 4.27~4.41 to 3.20~3.59 during acetic acid fermentation. The initial total acidity (0.29~0.41%) changed to 3.68~4.51% after fermentation. Hunter's a (redness) and b (yellowness) values also increased as the addition of red pepper increased to 30%. Major volatile compounds consisted of ethyl acetate, 3-methyl-1-butanol, acetaldehyde, ethanol and acetic acid. Capsaicin content (0.17~0.26 mg%) at the initial changed to 0.16~0.29 mg% at the final of the fermentation. Antioxidant activity decreased from 48.1~79.1% to 36.6~64.9% by the fermentation. The germinated brown rice vinegar added with red pepper had higher acceptance scores than that of the control without red pepper.

We investigated the effect of sulfate re-addition on hydrogen production under sulfur-deprived condition. When the final concentration of sulfate to cell suspensions($0{\sim}120{\mu}M$) was increased, chlorophyll concentration, culture density, and total amount of $H_2$ produced, increased up to an optimal concentration of $30{\mu}M\;MgSO_4$. Maximum hydrogen volume was 236 mL $H_2/L$ culture at $30{\mu}M\;MgSO_4$. However, the addition of excess sulfate(above $MgSO_4\;60{\mu}M$) delayed the start of hydrogen production and the induction of hydrogenase. Accordingly, the final yield of hydrogen production was reduced. Using these results, we attempted the continuous and sustained hydrogen production by sulfate re-addition($30{\mu}M\;MgSO_4$) using a single C. reinhardtii culture for up to 4 cycles. In total, hydrogen production volume was 625 mL $H_2/L$ culture.

When we consider to develop a new harbor, the most important factor, we think, is the lowest water depth of waterway and approaching channel for safe navigation of vesse. The existing harbors have been being dredged to meet the international trend of jumbo sized vessels by adopting the new design criteria. As the dredged materials over the expected at the design level were common and there are still lack of land based reclamation area, we have no choice to discharge the dredged materials in open sea area. In this study, we analysed the behavior of discharged materials at the dumping area of offshore open sea, which were collected from the dredging work at the waterway in Busan New Port. We measured the tidal currents and analyzed the waters of dumping site after the dumping work. these were used to evaluate the numerical models. Suspended Solids(SS) were introduced to the diffusion model. Because of the characteristics of the dumping site, the speed of initial diffusion and settle down of the discharged materials was so fast. Therefore, we believe that the dumped materials do not cause a significant impact to the marine environment.
Numerous base-metal bearing hydrothermal quartz vein deposits occur in the Hunan province of southern China. The Tangguanpu lead-zinc-tin-silver mine is the major producer among these deposits. Lead-zinc-tin-silver mineralization occurs in a single stage of massive quartz veins which filled fractures in fault zones within Paleozoic metasedimentary rocks. Sphalerite, chalcopyrite, galena, pyrite, arsenopyrite and pyrrhotite are the principal sulphide minerals in the Tangguanpu lead-zinc ores with minor amounts of tin- and antimony-bearing sulphides (stannite, teallite, boulangerite and tetrahedrite). Based on the iron and zinc partitioning between coexisting stannite and sphalerite, the formation temperature for this mineral assemblage range from 300$^{\circ}$ to 330$^{\circ}$C, which relatively agree with the upper part of homogenization temperature of fluid inclusion in quartz (20T-358$^{\circ}$C). Fluid inclusion data show that main lead-zine-tin-silver mineralization occurred from $H_{2}O$-NaCl fluids with relatively low salinities (11.2-7.3 wl.% eg. NaCI) at temperatures between 207$^{\circ}$ and 358$^{\circ}$C. The relationship between homogenization temperature and salinity suggests a history of cooling and dilution followed by initial boiling. Evidence of initial fluid boiling may indicate the fluid trapping pressures of 180 bars. The ${\delta}^{34}S{{\Sigma}S}$ values of -5.0 to 1.1 %, indicate an igneous source of sulfur in the Tangguanpu lead-zinc-tin-silver hydrothermal fluids.
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of End-coating (CO) treatment and Vapor-dam (V) treatment on the air circulating oven drying characteristics of green stock (Paulownia tomentosa) for drum. The reduction of the weight of specimens was greatly displayed in order of control (C-NC) treatment, End-coating (C-CO) treatment, Vapor-dam (V-NC) treatment and Vapor-dam/End-coating (V-CO) treatment after the beginning of drying. The V-CO treated specimen showed smoother temperature gradient compared with the V-NC treated specimen throughout whole drying stage and there was little temperature gradient between the inner and outer part of the cylindrical stock. The C-CO treated specimen showed higher value of vapor pressure in both the inner and outer part of the cylindrical stock until the middle stage of drying, while after the middle stage of drying only the inner part of the cylindrical stock presented higher value compared with the C-NC treated specimen. The distribution of the absolute vapor pressure of the V-CO treated specimen was similar to that of the V-NC treated specimen during the initial stage of drying. However, the former showed a large distribution in order of the hollow, the outer part, the inner part of the cylindrical stock after the initial stage of drying, which was entirely different model of distribution from that of the V-NC treated specimen. Surface checks and ring failures were not observed for all of the specimens, while end checks were severely occurred for the C-NC treated specimen and the V-NC treated specimen.

So far, the deep learning, a field of artificial intelligence, has achieved remarkable results in solving problems from unstructured data. However, it is difficult to comprehensively judge situations like humans, and did not reach the level of intelligence that deduced their relations and predicted the next situation. Recently, deep neural networks show that artificial intelligence can possess powerful relational reasoning that is core intellectual ability of human being. In this paper, to analyze and observe the performance of Relation Networks (RN) among the neural networks for relational reasoning, two types of RN-based deep neural network models were constructed and compared with the baseline model. One is a visual question answering RN model using Sort-of-CLEVR and the other is a text-based question answering RN model using bAbI task. In order to maximize the performance of the RN-based model, various performance improvement experiments such as hyper parameters tuning have been proposed and performed. The effectiveness of the proposed performance improvement methods has been verified by applying to the visual QA RN model and the text-based QA RN model, and the new domain model using the dialogue-based LL dataset. As a result of the various experiments, it is found that the initial learning rate is a key factor in determining the performance of the model in both types of RN models. We have observed that the optimal initial learning rate setting found by the proposed random search method can improve the performance of the model up to 99.8%.

This study evaluated the change of water quality and chlorophyll - a at the birth stage of a large reclaimed estuarine lake (Lake Hwaong) of which the dike was finally constructed in March, 2002. Physico -chemical parameters and chlorophyll - a were investigated along a longitudinal transect, including 3 in-lake sites and 1 out-lake site from June to November, 2002. Salinity at all in-lake sites was over 21 psu during the study period, indicating that lake is still in the seawater phase. Salinity was periodically diluted at times when precipitation was high, especially in August. Chemocline was established in July near the dam site, and correspondingly vertical profile of dissolved oxygen was very clear during that Period. Total nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations at all lake sites were in the eutrophic range, and they were especially high at the stream inlet site. Nutrients concentration was not much varied vertically but significantly varied temporally, and correlated significantly with precipitation and chlorophyll-a concentration, indicating that inflowing water from the watershed seemed not to improve lake water by dilution but cause eutrophication of the lake, and thereby stimulate phytoplankton development. Based on the analyses of nutrient ratio (N/P) and trophic state deviation, both phosphorus and nitrogen appeared to limit phytoplankton growth in the lake. Phosphorus limitation appeared to be probable at all in-lake sites with being most severe at the stream inlet site. Nitrogen limitation seemed to occur at both in-lake and out-lake sites. These results indicate that in Lake Hwaong experiencing the very early stage of a reclaiming lake, water quality and phytoplankton development appear to be affect-ed largely by salinity and hydrology and nutrients from the inflowing water. Lake biogeochemistry is still very unstable, and thus further long-term study is necessary to understand the effects of seawater to freshwater conversion on lake biology and water chemistry.

Inorganic nutrient concentrations in relation to springtime physical parameters of the Yellow Sea were investigated during April 1996. Three major water masses, i.e., the Yellow Sea Warm Current Water (YSWC), Coastal Current Water (CCW) and Changjiang River Diluted Water (CRDW), prevailed in the study area. Water masses were vertically wel1 mixed throughout the study area, and nutrients were supplied adequately from bottom to surface layer. As result of ample nutrients supplied by vertical mixing together with progressed daylight condition, springtime phytoplankton blooms were observed, which was responsible for the depletion of inorganic nutrients in surface water column. Low nutrients concentration in bottom water of the central Yellow Sea (Stn. D9; nitrate: <2 ${\mu}$M, phosphate: <0.3 ${\mu}$) was associated with the entrance of YSWC which is characterized by high temperature and salinity. Influenced by runoff and vertical tidal mixing, CCW with high nutrient concentrations probably associated with China and Korea coastal waters with high nutrients concentration. For the local scale of inorganic nutrient distribution, nutrient transfers from coast to central areas were limited due to restriction imposed by tidal fronts (Stn. D6) and thus affected the horizontal nutrient profiles. Relatively high phytoplankton biomass was observed in the tidal front (Chl-${\alpha}$=12.38 ${\mu}$gL$^{-1}$) during the study period. Overall, the springtime nutrient distribution patterns in the Yellow Sea appeared to be affected by: (1) Large-scale influx of YSWC with low nutrient concentrations and CCW with high nutrient concentrations influenced by Korea and China coastal waters; (2) vertical mixing of water mass and phytoplankton distribution; and (3) local-scale tidal front as well as phytoplankton blooms alongthe tidal front.

Protease activity of the koji was higher as tile ratio of soybeans was increased but amylase activity was higher as the ratio of milled barley was increased. The amounts of total nitrogen showed substantial increases until 80 days and afterwards, their rates of increases were lower. The more its content of soybeans, the higher its amount of total nitrogen, The amount of amino nitrogen increased slowly in all samples and the sample which had a large amount of soybeans was higher than those with small amounts of soybeans. The amount of ammonia nitrogen showed increases until 120 days tut decreased after then. The amount of reducing sugar showed increases until 80 days and decreased after then and the greater its source of carton, the higher its amount of reducing sugar. The total acid contort had large increases until 100 days in all samples and afterward they did not show any particular changes. The changes of pH decreased for 100 days and afterwards, they increased a little. In the original soysauce, combined ratio of soybean 3 to milled barley 2 and the sample of those ratio 4 : 1 are better than others and in diluted soysauce combined ratio of soybean 4 to milled barley 1 is better than the others. In original soysauce the use of $20{\sim}40%$ barley koji, which is added to soybeans, is superior and diluted soysauce the use of 20% barley koji is superior.
The hydrothermal vein type deposits which comprise the Kasihan, Jompong and Gempol mineralized areas are primarily copper and zinc deposits, but they are also associated with lead and/or gold mineralization. The deposits occur within the Tertiary sedimentary and volcanic rocks in the Southern Mountain zone of the eastern Java island, Indonesia. Mineralization can be separated into two or three distinct stages (pre-and/or post- ore mineralization stages and main ore mineralization stage) which took place mainly along pre-existing fault breccia zones. The main phase of mineralization (the main ore stage) can be usually classified into three substages (early, middle and late) according to ore mineral assemblages, paragenesis, textures and their chemical compositions. Ore mineralogy and paragenesis of the three areas in the district are different from each other. Pyrite, pyrrhotite (/arsenopyrite), iron-rich (up to 20.5 mole % FeS) sphalerite and (Cu-)Pb-Bi sulfosalts are characteristic of the deposits in the Kasihan (/Jompong) area. On the other hand, pyrite + hematite + magnetite + iron-poor (2.7 to 3.6 mole % FeS) sphalerite assemblage is restricted to the Gempol area. Fluid inclusion data suggest that fluids of the main ore stage evolved from initial high temperatures (near $350^{\circ}C$) to later lower temperatures (near $200^{\circ}C$) with salinities ranging from 0.8 to 10.1 equiv. wt. percent NaCl. Each area represents a separate hydrothermal system: the mineralization at Kasihan and Jompong were largely due to early fluid boiling coupled with later cooling and dilution, whereas the mineralization at Gempol was mainly resulted from cooling and dilution by an influx of cooler meteoric waters. Fluid inclusion evidence of boiling indicates that pressures of ${\geq}95$ to 255 bars (${\geq}95$ bars for the Gempol area: $\approx$ 120 to 170 bars for the Jompong area: $\approx$ 140 to 255 bars for the Kasihan area) during portions of main ore stage mineralization. Equilibrium thermodynamic interpretation indicates that the evolution trends of the temperature versus fS2 variation of ore stage fluids in the Pacitan district follow two fashions: ore fluids at Kasihan and Jompong changed from the pyrite-pyrrhotite sulfidation stage towards pyritehematite- magnetite state, whereas those at Gempol evolved nearly along pyrite-hematite-magnetite reaction curve with decreasing temperature. The sulfur isotope compositions of sulfide minerals are consistent with an igneous source of sulfur with a ${\delta}^{34}S_{{\Sigma}s}$ value of about 3.3 per mil. The oxygen and hydrogen isotopic compositions of the fluids in each area indicate a progressive shift from the dominance of highly exchanged meteoric water at early hydrothermal systems towards an un- or less-exchanged meteoric water at later hydrothermal systems.
