Food Organisms of Postlarvae of Japanese Anchovy (Engraulis japonica) in Kwangyang Bay (광양만 멸치(Engrauiils japonica) 후기자어의 먹이생물)

  • To investigate the food organisms of the Japanese anchovy (Engraulis japonicus) during the first feeding stage, the gut contents of anchovy, captured in Kwangyang Bay at June 1990, were observed. Anchovies started to eat from 3.0mm (NL) after finishing to absorb the yolk. The food organisms were composed of copepod eggs and nauplii tintinnids, and etc. The major food organisms of the anchovy larvae of 3.0-3.8mm (NL) were copepod eggs and nauplii, whereas those of larvae longer than 3.8mm(NL) were only copepod nauplii.

  • 방사능 핵폐기물 처분장 부지선정을 위해서는 암반의 특성화 작업이 선행되어야 한다. 특성화 작업이 선행되어야 한다. 특성화 작업은 암반은 열적, 역학적 및 수리적 거동 특성을 분석할 수 있는 수치모델을 개발하여, 국내 환경에 적합한 설계안을 조기에 설립할 수 있는 Program을 포함해야 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 초기단계로서, 현대엔지니어링 주식회사는 이 분야에 40년 이상의 경험과 기술을 축적하고 있는 세계적인 핵관련 연구소인 미국 샌디아 국립연구소 (Sandia National Laboratories)와 공동연구 등을 통해 서로간의 기술간의 기술을 공유하자는 "상호 기술협정(MOU)"을 '98년 5월 21일 맺었다. 본 연구는 이러한 취지하에 진행하고 있는 전체 Program의 일부로서 기본계획을 발포하여 향후 기술개발에 참여할 수 있는 산학연 협동체 구성 및 역할 분담을 통한 기초연구를 수행하고, 2000년 초반기에 한국에서 대구될 수 있는 처분장 처리문제를 미리 수행하려는데 일차적인 목적이 있다.적인 목적이 있다.

Aroma Characteristics of Byeolmijang with Optional Ingredients (부재료 첨가에 따른 별미장의 향기특성)

  • Aroma compounds in four different Byeolmijang made from optional ingredient addition were extracted by SDE (simultaneous steam distillation extraction) and analyzed with GC (gas chromatography) and GC/MS (mass-spectrometry). The major aroma compounds in the four different Byeolmijang during aging were 1-octene-3-ol, hexanal, benzeneacetaldehyde, benzaldehyde, fufural, pyrazine, furan and phenol type compounds. Generally, benzeneacetaldehyde, benzaldehyde, fufural and phenol type compounds were increased during aging. On the other hand, 1-octen-3-ol, hexanal and furan were decreased during aging. Furfural, 2-furanmathanol and benzeneacetaldehyde in Sanghwangjang, 3-methyl-1-butanol, phenol and 1H-indole in Mujang, hexanal, 1-octen-3-ol and 2,4-decadienal in Bizijang and hexanal, tetramethylpyrazine and 2-methoxy-4-vinylphenol in Jigeumjang were identified as major aroma compounds, respectively. Generally, the major aroma compound in four different Byeolmijang with optional ingredient was similar with control and pyrazine, furan and phenol type compounds were decreased to addition with optional ingredient. The major aroma compound in Sanghwangjang with optional ingredient (onion) were 1-hexanol and 2,5-dimethylthiophene and the major aroma compounds were 1,2,4-trithiolane and 2-buthyl-2-octenal in Mujang with optional ingredient (Letinus edodes). Furfural, benzaldehyde, benzeneacetaldehyde, 1,2,4-trithiolane and lenthionine were detected in Bizijang due to the addition of powdered Letinus edodes. Linaool and ${\beta}-lonone$ were detected in Jigeumjang due to the addition of powdered red pepper.

Behaviors of Mach Disk in Underexpanded Supersonic Moist Jet (초음속 습공기 제트에서 발생하는 마하디스크의 거동)

  • It has been well known that the major feature of compressible flow fields might be different depending on their formation processes. The objectives of the present study is to investigates the effect of jet development on the time history of supersonic jet flow field, accompanying nonequilibrium condensation. Especially, the behaviors of Mach disk diameter and location in a supersonic moist air jet are presented in terms of nozzle pressure ratio and initial relative humidity. The relative humidity of moist air is controlled at the nozzle supply, and the nozzle pressure ratio is varied to obtain the moderately underexpanded flows at the exit of the nozzle, installed in an indraft wind tunnel. It is found that at the same pressure ratio the Mach disk diameter increases with the initial relative humidity, while moves further upstream. Furthermore, the values of Mach disk diameter and location for increasing pressure ratio show larger than those for increasing.

  • 올해 정책자금 운영규모는 3조2075억원으로 지난해보다 2.3% 증가했다. 특히 기술혁신형 창업 및 성장초기 기업육성을 위해 '창업 및 개발기술사업화자금(1조4000억원)'을 지난해보다 2200억원 늘렸고, 개발기술사업화자금(2580억원)도 1000억원 늘렸다. 올해부터 정책자금의 배분전략이 그간의 "Negative시스템(특정산업을 제외한 모든산업지원방식)"에서 '전략산업'을 종점 지원하는 방식인 "Positive시스템"으로 전환된다. 중기청은 특히, 녹색 신성장동력 산업 등 성장 가능성이 큰 7대 전략산업에 정책자금의 70%인 2조2천억원을 집중 투입할 계획이다. 이에 따라 태양전지 LED응용 IT융합 고부가식품산업(녹색 신성장동력산업), 금형 등에 정책자금이 집중 지원될 것으로 보인다. 이와 함께 우량기업 및 한계기업을 지원대상에서 제외하고 동일기업에 대한 편중지원을 제한하는 등 정책목적성을 대폭 강화할 예정이다. 자체 신용으로 민간금융 이용이 가능하나 저금리 혜택을 위해 정책자금을 이용하는 우량기업 및 생명연장식 한계기업 등에 대한 지원을 배제하고, 절감된 재원(약 3,000억원)은 전략산업의 창업초기기업에 종점 지원할 계획이다. 자세한 사항 및 정책자금 신청 희망기업은 중소기업진흥공단 홈페이지(www.sbc.or.kr) '정책자금 융자도우미'를 통해 신청요건 및 추천자금 등을 자가진단 후 신청하면 된다.

기상-수문 결합 모델을 활용한 수문기상정보 산출기술 개발 연구

  • 토양수분, 증발산량, 유출량 등의 고해상도 수문기상요소 산출을 위한 지면모델 활용 기술은 기상 및 수문분야에서 널리 활용 중에 있다. 본 연구에서는 미국 국립대기과학연구소(NCAR)에서 개발된 기상-수문 결합모델 WRF-Hydro(Weather Research and Forecasting Model Hydrological modeling extension package)을 활용하여 낙동강 유역에서 발생한 돌발홍수 사례 실험에 적용하여 강우량 및 수문기상요소 전체를 모의함으로써 기상-수문-지면 결합모델을 활용한 수문기상요소 산출하고자 하였다. 이를 기존의 기상모델로부터 입력강제자료를 제공받아 Off-line 형태로 결합된 지면모델(TOPLATS, TOPmodel-based Land Atmosphere Transfer Scheme) 결과와 비교하였고 기상-수문 결합모델의 국내 적용성을 검토하였다. 기상-수문-지면 결합모델(WRF-Hydro)의 초기장 및 경계장은 기상청 현업 모델에서 생성된 국지예보모델자료 1.5km 자료(LDAPS, Local Data Assimilation and Prediction System)를 사용하였으며, 모델의 적분기간은 돌발홍수 사례에 따라 24~36시간을 수행하였다. WRF-Hydro 모델의 물리모수화 방안은 작년까지 기상청에서 현업운영되는 KWRF의 방안들을 준용하였으며, WRF-Hydro 수행을 위해 Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer(ASTER)에서 제공되는 30 m 해상도의 수치표고자료를 GIS(Geographic Information System)를 활용하여 지표유출방향을 설정하였다.

Effects of Seed Size and Weight on Growth of First-Year Seedling in Pinus koraiensis (잣나무종자(種子)의 크기와 무게가 묘목(苗木)의 초기생장(初期生長)에 미치는 영향(影響))

  • In order to investigate the effects of seed weight, size (length and thickness), and maturation period (early maturing seed or late maturing seed) on growth of first-year seedlings in Pinus koraiensis, pot cultivation experiment with seeds collected from Gangweon University Forest was carried out under relatively controlled environment condition. At the end of one growing season, not only fresh weight, length, diameter (at underside of cotyledon) and root length of seedlings, but also number and length of cotyledon were measured. Results are as follows; 1. Germination percentage is independent of weight and size of seeds, but it was influenced by maturation period, that is, late maturing seeds surpass early maturing one in germination percentage. 2. Germination percentage is affected by maturation period of seeds in 18.3% of contribution rate. 3. Each growth of first-year seedlings is influenced considerably by the differences of weight, length and thickness of seeds, that is, heavy and large seeds produce larger seedlings than do light and small seeds. Particularly, fresh weight, diameter, length of cotyledon are significantly affected by differences of seed weight and size (length and thickness) in 50-90% of contribution rate. 4. Differences of seed weight and thickness have a tendency to affect more on growth of first-year seedlings than do differences of seed length. 5. Seedlings from late maturing seeds are superior than those from early maturing one in fresh weight, diameter of seedlings and length of cotyledon, but it's influence is a little.

Characteristics of the Horizontal Stress and the Possibility of Stress Induced Brittle Failure in Chuncheon-Yanggu Mountainous Region by the In-situ Stress Measurements (현장 측정에 의한 춘천-양구 산악지역 내 수평응력 분포와 취성파괴 가능성에 관한 연구)

  • Current initial rock stress state is one of the key factors required to evaluate the stability and failure around an excavated opening and its importance increases as the construction depth become deeper and the scale of the rock structure become larger. In this paper, the study was performed to evaluate the characteristics of the regional stress state at Chuncheon-Yanggu mountainous region, the East-North part of Kyeonggi Massif. Forty nine field stress measurements in 9 boreholes were conducted at the depth from 20 m to 290 m by hydraulic fracturing method. The fracturing tracing works were carried out by acoustic televiewer scanning. The study results revealed that the different intial rock stress states presented at different formation rock type and the excessive horizontal stress state with stress ratio(K) close to 3.0 was measured at the depth of 200 m and deeper in the intrusive unite body of the study area. The results from the investigation of excessive horizontal stress and its effect on failure mode showed that there exist several points where the localized excessive horizontal stresses are big enough to potentially induce brittle failures around the future openings greater than 100 m in depth within the granite body of the study area.

Studies on Lodging Control of Sesame for Polyethylene Film Mulching Cultivation (참깨 P.E 멀칭 재배하에서의 도복방지)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the influence of lodging artificially induced and the lodging control of prop on seed yield and other important agronomic characters in sesame. At mono cropping with white polyethylene film mulching and after barley cropping with black polyethylene film mulching as main plot, with three varieties as sub plot and four lodging degree as sub-sub plot with three replications. Plant height was rather increased by the normal and severe lodging, whereas 1,000 seed weight, stem length bearing capsules and number of capsule per plant were significantly decreased. Consequently, yield reduction was resulted in lodging and normal plot as compare to that in lodging control with prop plot. Especially, high yielding in the prop treated was remarkable.
