  • In the modern city in which the high-density and complex land use is needed, high-rise residential-commercial buildings appeared as a scheme to arrange a metropolitan residence with multiple high-techs and to induce activation of the city with leading the settled population to flow into the city. And the need of the times is to actively apply the eco-friendly notion to the architecture. In this study, the works of Ken Yeang who is regarded as an eco-friendly architect to make high-rise residential-commercial buildings ecological should be focused on with analyses of eco-friendly characteristics in inside, intersection between inside and outside, and outside of his works. The result o the study would be the suggestion to design eco-friendly high-rise buildings which make the city rise in quality.

  • The optimized HVAC system design in tall buildings enable owners to save unnecessary energy consumption and residents to have comfort environments. The purpose of this study is to develop design process for optimized HVAC system design in tall buildings. As basic researches, literature researches and case studies of HVAC system design in tall buildings were performed. Survey was processed among expert in the field and key considerations on HVAC system design were drew as conclusions. With these conclusions, studies were performed on effects of wind velocity, outdoor air temperature, and solar radiation that are main factors of load calculation in tall buildings. Finally, air-tightness and stack effect were analyzed and estimated by literature studies, field measurements and computer simulations.

  • Recently Korea has imported and executed Performance Based Design for the method to settle the dangerousness on outbreak of fire of high-rise building. The overseas country's PBD is autonomic but It is unable to carry out the essential role of PBD as the performance based design that based the code based design in the domestic. Also It occurs the problems that different the classification standard of building as dualisation between the building code and the fire services act. In this study, We have investigated overseas's cases for the PBD of high-rise building and have drawn the improvement direction & the problem of domestic's PBD by comparing and the analysing the domestic regulation.

  • 전 세계적으로 수많은 고층 건축물이 건설되고 있다. 건축물의 높이가 높아질수록 비상시 필요로 하는 유효 피난길이와 총 피난시간은 점점 길어진다. 일반적으로 건축물에서의 피난은 지상층의 안전한 공간으로 대피하는 것을 의미하는데 고층 또는 초고층 건축물의 대규모 수직적 공간에서는 하향식 피난뿐만 아니라 상향식 피난도 고려되어야 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 고층 아파트 1개소를 선정하여 수직적 이동방향에 따른 실물 피난실험을 실시하여 피난특성을 관찰하였다. 본 실험에서 피난자 개개인의 특성을 파악하기 위해 피난자들이 지상층에 도착하자마자 설문조사를 실시하여 피난행동간 개인 고유의 행동데이터를 수집하였고 이를 PASW 18을 활용하여 통계적 해석을 실시하였다.

  • It is critical to select the appropriate type of tower cranes for the construction of super tall buildings. However the selection is often made based on subjective personal experiences due to the lack of historical and analytical data. As a result, planning mistakes and efficiency errors sometimes occur. This research is to develop a system of hoisting analysis for appropriate tower crane selection and to provide a flexible statistical model based on the Burj Dubai project. In addition, this system hassupporting functions that can estimate the target construction period per floor, and a decision-making construction period computation method which is based on the characteristic of the selected tower cranes.

  • The technical improvement of high-rise building construction is getting better as the demands of the skyscrapers is increasing. The interior construction has become the essential factor which directly affects the whole project because of skyscraperization. This study has proposed the site image-based space model as the tool for supporting decision-making for preparation and execution of the interior construction. It is expected to make the space model which is suitable for the project characteristics and work packages.
