Embedded Inductors in MCM-D for RF Appliction (RF용 MCM-D 기판 내장형 인덕터)

  • We developed embedded inductors in MCM-D substrate for RF applications. The increasing demand for high density packaging was the driving forces to the development of MCM-D technology. Most of these development efforts have been focused on high performance digital circuits. However, recently there is a great need fur mixed mode circuits with a combination of digital, analog and microwave devices. Mixed mode modules often have a large number of passive components that are connected to a small number of active devices. Integration of passive components into the high density MCM substrate becomes desirable to further reduce cost, size, and weight of electronic systems while improving their performance and reliability. The proposed MCM-D substrate was based on Cu/photosensitive BCB multilayer and Ti/Cu is used to form the interconnect layer. Seed metal was formed with 1000 $\AA$ Ti/3000 $\AA$ Cu by sputtering method and main metal was formed with 3 $\mu\textrm{m}$ Cu by electrical plating method. The multi-turn sprial inductors were designed in coplanar fashion. This paper describe the manufacturing process of integrated inductors in MCM-D substrate and the results of electrical performance test.

상용화를 위한 진공펌프 신뢰성평가에 관한연구

  • 지식경제부의 청정제조기반 산업원천개발사업의 일환으로 진행 중인 "초고진공펌프 개발" 과제 중 제 3 세부 과제인 "고진공펌프종합특성평가시스템 설계, 진단기술 개발" 과제에서 진행되고 있는 연구수행결과 및 기 구축 돈 저진공펌프 종합특성평가시스템을 활용한 진공펌프의 상용화를 위한 신뢰성 평가에 관하여 소개한다. 10(3) mbar~ 10(-10) mbar 영역의 국내 진공펌프 개발 수준의 선진화를 위한 모든 특성평가장치의 국제적 신뢰성이 있는 완벽한 성능평가의 구현에 있다고 할 수 있다. 고진공펌프개발 총괄과제의 대명제는 "국제적 신뢰성을 가지는 상용화 제품의 완성"이며, 전체 사업 추진기간 동안 제품 개발 주체인 산업체에 상용화를 위한 신뢰성 기반기술의 완벽한 구현의 제공에 있다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 고진공펌프의 신뢰성 평가는 저진공펌프의신뢰성 평가기술에 기반을 두고 있으며, 기 개발 완료된 특성평가뿐만 아니라 실질적으로 공정현장에서 판단할 수 있는 내구성진단 및 제작회사에서의 기계적 신뢰성 진단기술의 복합적인 요인들의 집합적인 분석에 기인하고 있다고 판단할 수 있다. 상용화 단계의 내구성 및 신뢰성 확보를 위한 전제 조건은 대외적으로 공표할 수 있는 시험평가 데이터와 개발 주체에서 기밀 수준으로 유지해야만 하는 민감한 자료의 상시 생산 infra의 구축으로 볼 수 있다. 이러한 진공펌프개발이라는 과제의 대명제를 완성하기 위하여 추진 연구개발 방향 등 진행형인 2년간의 최종 상용화에 필요한 국제 신뢰성, 공정대응성 확보 등 핵심사업 추진내용을 소개하고자 한다.

  • Recent advances of technology in materials science have made it easy to respond to user's needs on high performance steel in civil and building structures. The high-performance and high-strength steel are required for large scale structure and high-rise building to have high-strength, high fracture toughness and better weldability etc. Therefore development of 600MPa class steel for mega structure is necessary. high strength steels, however, may have mechanical properties that are significantly different from those of the conventional steels. The application of high-strength steels to building structures should be reviewed as to whether inelastic behavior equivalent to that of conventional steels can be attained or not. This study researched the structural behavior of high strength circular tubes compression and under flexure. Three column tests and three flexural tests were carried out. The suitability of existing design formulae(KBC 2009) and the structural behavior were investigated through these columns and beams with various types.

  • Building use classification is classified the building types according to the similar structure, the goal of the use, and its shape. The important reason of building use classification is that building restrictions are applied according to building use classifications. But there are a lot of confusion because the building use classification is regulated not only by the Building Act but also by the several individual Act. Particularly in the large-scaled, high-raised and complex building construction, it is very important to remain the consistency of the building use classification between the Building Act and the Fire-Fighting System Act for safety of occupants. So the purpose of this study is to suggests the improve direction of the building use classifications through the comparative analysis of the Building Act and the Fire-Fighting System Act.

Real Time AOA Estimation Using Neural Network combined with Array Antennas (어레이 안테나와 결합된 신경망모델에 의한 실시간 도래방향 추정 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • It has well known that MUSIC and ESPRIT algorithms estimate angle of arrival(AOA) with high resolution by eigenvalue decomposition of the covariance matrix which were obtained from the array antennas. However, the disadvantage of MUSIC and ESPRIT is that they are computationally ineffective, and then they are difficult to implement in real time. The other problem of MUSIC and ESRPIT is to require calibrated antennas with uniform features, and are sensitive to the manufacturing facult and other physical uncertainties. To overcome these disadvantages, several method using neural model have been study. For multiple signals, those require huge training data prior to AOA estimation. This paper proposes the algorithm for AOA estimation by interconnected hopfield neural model. Computer simulations show the validity of the proposed algorithm. The proposed method does not require huge training procedure and only assigns interconnected coefficients to the neural network prior to AOA estimation.

  • The detectability of radar depends on RCS(radar cross section). The RCS for complex radar targets may be only approximately calculated by using low-frequency or high-frequency scattering methods, while the RCS for simple rob targets can be exactly obtained by applying an eigen-function method. However, the conventional methods for calculation of RCS are computationally complex. We propose an approximation method for RCS calculation by MUSIC algorithm In this research, it is assumed toot the radar target is considered as a ring of scatterers. The amplitudes of scatterers may be statistically distributed. As the result, the radar signal model is proposed to use MUSIC, and the RCS is calculated by a simple linear algebraic method.

  • 최근 국내 전력시장은 초고압 대전력기기 사용이 현저히 증가하고 있어 이에 따라 부분방전 예방진단 시스템의 필요성은 절대적이며 이러한 시스템의 국산화가 절실히 요구되고 있다. 예방 진단 시스템의 국산화에 있어 부분방전 신호 측정시 신호 대 잡음비(Signal to Noise ratio)를 높이기 위해 측정용 센서의 검출가능 주파수 대역을 높게 설정하여 설계되고 있는데, 따라서 센서에서 검출된 신호를 처리하기 위한 로컬유닛 또한 국산화시 외국 시스템보다 더욱 신뢰성을 가질 수 있도록 설계되어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 기존의 마이크로프로세서를 채용한 저속 시스템을 대체할 수 있도록 더욱 빠르고 높은 신뢰성의 디지털 신호처리 기술이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 검출 센서의 아날로그 신호를 빠르게 디지털화 한 후 보다 정확한 데이터와 독립적 신호처리 그리고 네트워크를 통한 실시간 전송을 수행할 수 있는 부분방전 예방진단 시스템 로컬유닛의 프로토타입을 Digital Signal Processor (DSP)를 이용하여 구현하였다. 제작된 DSP 로컬유닛을 시험하기 위해 Real-Scale 170kV GIS Mock-up에서 부분방전 신호를 발생 시키고 센서를 통해 검출된 신호를 DSP가 처리하여 사용자의 네트워크를 통한 명령에 따른 실시간 전송모드, ${\Phi}$-q-n 진단모드로 자체 네트워크 기능을 이용하여 사용자에게 데이터를 실시간 전송하도록 하였다. 본 논문에서 구현한 DSP 로컬유닛은 대전력기기 부분방전 예방진단 시스템의 국산화에 있어 기존의 외국 시스템의 로컬유닛보다 구성이 간단하며, 실시간 신호처리 및 원거리 데이터 전송기능에서 우수한 성능을 보였다. 향후 연구에서는 다양한 분석 알고리즘을 탑재한 DSP를 개발하여 더욱 향상된 실시간 데이터 전송 및 분석기능이 우수한 DSP 로컬유닛을 개발하고자 한다.

  • Due to the diversity of device performances and the possibility of providing multimedia service through many networks, media consumption environment has been changed in various ways. In recent, mobile services and broadcasting services started to provided through IP network. According to this flow changes, there was great demand for various multimedia services through heterogenous networks. To solve this problem, MMT was suggested as a standard of multimedia transport which replaces MPEG-2 TS(Transport Stream) which is used for HD(High Definition) transport. MMT can be provided various broadcasting based on IP through terrestrial, satellite, cable broadcasting networks, and also deliver multimedia through many networks at the same time. MMT was risen as a method of servicing UHD broadcasting. In this paper, we present an implementation of service architecture for hierarchical UHD broadcasting over heterogenous networks using MMT.

  • This paper is a special-purpose machine studies for processing various patterns on the surface of the stone. We have developed a special-purpose machine that can be applied in various patterns upon the surface treatment of the stone with the water jet. The special-purpose machine is Configured of Transfer mechanism, motion controller, multi-nozzle mechanism, ultra high pressure water control system and S/W. We conducted a performance evaluation experiments of the pattern. We have developed a special-purpose machine with a precision of machining error ${\pm}0.5mm$ and pattern processing of various types.
