A Study on the Customer Behavior and Recognition of Jeju Regional Cuisine - Focusing on Customer Satisfaction, Revisit Intention, and Word of Mouth among the Tourists in Jeju - (제주향토음식에 대한 인지와 고객 행동에 관한 연구 - 제주 방문 관광객의 고객 만족, 재방문, 구전을 중심으로 -)

  • The aims of this study concerning tourists travelling in the island of Jeju include: to identify and assess the promotional efforts for traditional Jeju cuisine; and to identify the impacts of those efforts on customers and tourists. The analyses revealed that continuous promotion efforts, along with changes in the cooking methods and the development of new menus, are needed for the items of traditional Jeju cuisine that are relatively unknown to tourists and that fail to satisfy customers. Customers seeking Jeju food reported high satisfaction with such items as grilled meat and fish, steamed meat and fish, and raw fish(hoe), so those cooking methods must also be continually improved. Promotional efforts had impacts on the satisfaction and revisit rates of customers while the recognizability of foods offered had impacts on all areas, including the satisfaction and revisit rates of customers as well as word-of-mouth advertising among them. There needs to be an experience-oriented or educational program that introduces customers to traditional Jeju cuisine. Since customers and tourists gain information on traditional Jeju cuisine from the recommendations and word-of-mouth advertising from the locals they meet on the island, traditional Jeju cuisine should also be advertised to the local residents. The commercial merchandising of Jeju culinary culture and making festivals based on it must, therefore, be preceded by studies on how to increase the locals' awareness of local traditional cuisine.

A Study on Visitors' Characteristics and Cognition in Regard to Damage of Nature Environment in Different Types of Ecotourism Destination (생태관광지 유형별 탐방객 특성 및 자연환경 훼손에 대한 인식 비교 연구)

  • For understanding the tourists' characteristics of several types of ecotourism sites, we surveyed and analyzed the demographic characteristics, travel motivations and cognition of damage in Bukhansan trail, Upo marshes, Jirisan trail and Uljin Keumgang pine tree trail. The field survey were conducted through face-to-face interviews. In the case of Bukhansan trail, many people came to build up their health, so the ratio of eco-tourists and the awareness of environmental damage was low. In Upo marshes, there were many group tourists who want to enhance friendship between the colleagues. And the ratio of eco-tourists, enjoying several activities such as observation or experience about the ecosystems of wetland and bird watching appeared high, but the cognition of tourists about the damage of natural environment was low because the flatland type tour site, Upo marshes has less damage factors comparing with mountain type tour sites. In Jirisan trail, eco-tourists, nature tourists and mass tourists appeared mixed and the cognition of damage was higher than that of flatland type. In the case of Uljin Keumgang pine tree trail, almost indices showed higher values than other sites because the tourists who visited there have high cognition of eco-tourism and nature conservation by limiting entrance. Tourists were generally accepted positively the control method such as collection of entrance fee and visitor reservation system when natural damages are expected.

  • La situation de la $r{\acute{e}}gion$ rurale et maritime de la province de Jeollanam-do en $Cor{\acute{e}}e$ du sud se $caract{\acute{e}}rise$ par une relative $p{\acute{e}}nurie$ de population. Le projet 'Ces ${\hat{I}}les$ que l'on aime visiter', $g{\acute{e}}r{\acute{e}}$ par la province de Jeollanam-do, s'articule autour de villages insulaires lieux de bien- ${\hat{e}}tre$ pour viser une augmentation de la population. Il s'agit de $d{\acute{e}}velopper$ le tourisme durable en s'appuyant sur la $beaut{\acute{e}}$ des paysages naturels, l'histoire, la culture et les traditions de cette $r{\acute{e}}gion$ insulaire. Pour cela, la participation active des habitants est essentielle. Cette ${\acute{e}}tude$ a pour but de $r{\acute{e}}fl{\acute{e}}chir$ aux moyens de $d{\acute{e}}velopper$ la participation des habitants en se fondant sur une $enqu{\hat{e}}te$ $men{\acute{e}}e$ dans la campagne. Nous avons mutuellement $analys{\acute{e}}$ entre les moyens de la participation des habitants et l'apanage $d{\acute{e}}mographique$ ${\grave{a}}$ cause de leurs $r{\acute{e}}sultats$ $diff{\acute{e}}rentes$. Voici les moyens de la participation des habitants $fond{\acute{e}}s$ sur la $caract{\acute{e}}ristique$ communautaire: $l^{\prime}activit{\acute{e}}$ $r{\acute{e}}mun{\acute{e}}ratrice$ communautaire; $l^{\prime}am{\acute{e}}lioration$ de l'habitat; les loisirs dans la $r{\acute{e}}gion$. Nous proposons plusieurs exemples pour $d{\acute{e}}velopper$ des programmes $fond{\acute{e}}s$ sur la participation des habitants de $l^{\prime}{\hat{i}}le$ de Nangdo, d'un rite communautaire maritime et des programmes ${\acute{e}}ducationnels$ d'explication touristique.

Activation Plan with the Traditional Houses for the Local Tourism and Culture Welfare System -Focused on the traditional houses in Youngwol-gun- (전통고택을 이용한 관광문화복지의 지역 활성화 방안 -영월군의 고택을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the activation plan with the traditional houses for the local tourism and culture welfare system. For the study, an investigation on the actual conditions of Youngwol-gun and a set of interviews were conducted from 13th June to 7thNovember in 2014. The analysis was conducted through the field observations and the interviews with building owners based on the criteria and SPSSWIN 18.0 program was used for statistical processes. The results of analysis are as follows. First, in order to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the local tourism and culture welfare system and to find its regional identity, the traditional houses need to be taken as a means of representing the local traditions and cultures. Second, a unique experiencecenter of traditional lifestyle and culture is necessary. Third, various local events on the tourism resources and traditional housings, development of various programs and promotion of local images are required for reinterpreting and reviewing the values of traditional houses. The implication of this study is that it provides the valuable information for enhancing the development and income of the local region and attracting tourists much more than now, since the succession and reinterpretation of the traditional housing cultures can harmonize the past, current and the future.

  • This research made an alternative plan about tour experience program development utilizable cooking peculiar of an Andong locality. First currently Andong region have an Andong bass fishing great meeting, an Andong international mask dance, an Andong apple expo, an Andong Korean beef miss choice meeting, an Andong Hahoe folk village dabbling in water festival, but Andong didn't have about food festival. This region will mask a planning about food festival after this. Second, an Andong have a rich tradition of confucianism and buddhism. For example, there are Bongieong temple and Dosan private school. Therefore it is necessary tour experience program development can join of food and culture. Third, in term original locality of mask dance, we can tour experience development program out of the traditional food festival and mask dance performance. Fourth, Andong have a traditional food (a bluff memorial service rice, Andong fermenting rice, Gunjin noodle) and a traditional Korean-style house(sueding, chirye artists). It is necessary the development of board and loading experience program.

  • This study is aimed to examine the mediated effects of consumer recognition in relationship of local food tour experience and intention of action in the revitalization of local food. Questionnaire survey target was women in 30s and 40s. The local food tour experience is independent variable, intention of action is dependent variable, and consumer recognition is analyzed as mediated variable. As a result, consumer recognition which is mediating variable has two subordinated variables. One is direct affect and the other is indirect affect. Between local food tour experience and intention of action, there was partial mediating effect. Thus, through tour experience, consumer can have positive recognition of freshness, safety, health, taste, price, job creation and relationship. That affects to the intention of action. Based on the results of the study, it is necessary to learn success case for marketing revitalization, and develop and operate experiencing tour education program to manage customer continuously.

  • Environment-friendly agricultural products in villages for rural tourism not only are very crucial as a pull factor that attracts tourists but also can serve as a way out for the development of rural areas. Experiences of agricultural products and local dishes can revitalize rural tourism and act as attractors that draw tourists to farm villages for tourism consistently. This study examines factors affecting rural experience tourists' purchase of environment-friendly agricultural products, thereby suggesting marketing strategies for promoting the consumption of environment-friendly agricultural products of villages for rural tourism.

  • The objectives of this study are investigate the satisfaction index and determined the characteristics of visitors. Also present the issues and direction for development of rural-experience village. This study area is seven villages of rural experience in Cheongwongun, Chungcheongbukdo. This place consists rural cooperative tourism model project that is pursued to Cooperative Tourism Model Project by the government. The projects are forming a network of towns and themes to be exhumed. The purpose of this project inner improves the ability of residents and external to contents diversification. This polling in the February-March 2008 was conducted between visitor 330 people. The question is personal information, satisfaction and rural tourism experience of detail as part of a total of 22.

해양휴양복지·해양치유 국민인식조사 결과 분석

  • 이 연구는 해양휴양복지 해양치유에 대한 국민인식조사를 통해 실제적이고 효과적인 정책 수립을 뒷받침할 기초자료와 근거를 확보하고자 했다. 2018년 8월 2일부터 9일까지 1주일간 웹과 모바일을 통해 조사한 557명의 응답자 중 82.9%는 해양수산부의 해양휴양복지 서비스 제공이 필요하다고 생각하며, 85.6%가 이용할 의향이 있다고 답했다. 응답자의 91.6%는 해양치유를 체험할 의향이 있으며 특히 바다 경관이 주는 스트레스 완화와 신체건강 증진 효과에 기대가 높았다. 응답자들은 해양휴양복지 서비스 대상은 사회경제적 취약계층과 자살 중독방지, 지역주민을 우선적으로 고려해야 한다고 보았다. 또한 해양치유 공간과 시설, 이용 요금, 안전과 환경 등 해양치유 참여 시 실제적이고 직접적으로 관련된 요소를 중요하게 고려하며, 접근성보다는 주변환경, 질병치료보다는 건강증진에 관심이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 최근 여가 문화 비중이 날로 증가하면서 레저 관광 문화에 대한 관심 증대와 동시에 질 높은 문화 향유에 대한 기대치가 높아지고 있다. 초 중 고 자녀들의 견문 넓히기를 위해 주말이면 나들이를 떠나는 인구 비중 역시 문화 향유 기대치와 비례하여 계속 늘고 있는 추세다. 주말 가족 단위의 여행을 통한 체험은 휴식과 놀이는 물론 교육적인 목적을 포함한 활동이기를 기대한다. 최근 교육 프로그램은 과거 아이들만 현장에 맡기는 탁아형에서 벗어나 부모가 교육 활동에 개입하는 공유형으로 나아가고 있는 추세이며, 가족간 결속과 가족 탄력성이 은연중에 스며들도록 하는 잠재적 교육과정의 실현이 매우 중요해졌다. 본 고에서는 박물관에서의 가족 교육 프로그램 제공을 통한 온가족 참여 교육 결과를 가족 대상 설문과 인터뷰를 통해 분석해보고 보다 적극적인 가족 형태의 교육활성화를 제고하고자 한다.
