This study examines the fact-check coverage provided by the SNU fact-check center site(factcheck.snu.ac.kr). A total of 50 articles that were cross-checked by multiple news media organizations were analyzed. The study's variables were topics, types, characteristics, consistency of the news media organizations' judgement, and fact-check sources. This study found that fact-checking coverage was generally focused on presidential or general election candidates or politicians, as well as political topics. The types of fact-checking coverage primarily included factual information, as well as some opinions or interpretations. Fact-check coverage was mainly focused on the facts of the statements themselves, causal relationships, or the timing or target of the comparison criteria. On average, the fact-checking coverage most frequently assigned the judgment 'mostly false, and primarily used interviews of individuals or data from organizations involved in the issue, government data, and experts' statements as the bases for its fact-checking judgements.

Checkpointing is one of common methods of realizing fault-tolerance for real-time systems. This paper presents a scheme to determine checkpoint intervals using probabilistic optimization. The considered real-time systems comprises multiple tasks in which transient faults can happen with a Poisson distribution. Also, multi-tasks are scheduled by the non-preemptive Rate Monotonic (RM) algorithm. In this paper, we present an optimization problem where the probability of task completion is described by checkpoint numbers. The solution to this problem is the optimal set of checkpoint numbers and intervals that maximize the probability. The probability computation includes schedulability test for the non-preemptive RM algorithm with respect to given numbers of checkpoint re-execution. A case study is given to show the applicability of the proposed scheme.

To compare whether broadcast fact-checking news, which aims to overcome the limitations of objective reporting, ensures fairness, we analyzed 227 fact-checked news stories aired on the main news of KBS, MBC SBS, TV Chosun, JTBC MBN, and YTN from January 1, 2022 to May 31, 2022, when the 20th presidential and local election campaigns were held. The analysis showed clear differences in fact-checking targets and narratives by broadcasters. In general, MBC, JTBC,and YTN were more likely to favor liberal parties such as the Democratic Party, while TV Chosun had a lot of narratives favoring the conservative camp. SBS and MBN were relatively neutral. KBS seemed to be trying to remain outwardly neutral. SBS and TV Chosun were the most active in fact-checking, but they covered a wide range of issues and were characterized by a bias toward contextualizing issues that viewers were curious about, rather than clarifying the facts. The projection of ideological bias by broadcasters in fact-checking narratives is a challenge that needs to be overcome.

본 논문은 수두증 환자의 체내에 삽입하는 파릴린 막체크 밸브의 제작과 시험에 관한 것이다. 파릴린 막 체크밸브는 세 가지 특징을 가지고 있다. 박막의 초기 인장응력에 따라 특정한 압력 이상에서 밸브가 열리고, 막과 밸브 입구의 크기에 따라 순방향과 역방향 특성을 서로 다르게 하며, 앤티사이폰 역할을 한다. 파릴린 체크 밸브는 상부 기판과 하부 기판으로 구성되어 있다. 하부 기판은 입구, 출구, 유로, 두 개의 완충챔버로 이루어져 있고, 상부 기판은 입구 박막과 두 개의 완충 챔버 박막으로 이루어져 있다. 하부 기판에는 밸브 구멍 주위에 밸브 시트를 두어 두 기판을 조립할 때 밸브 시트가 막을 변형시키면서 박막에 초기 인장 응력을 주도록 되어 있다. 또, 하부 기판에 특정한 각을 가진 유로 및 완충 챔버를 형성하여 역류 발생시 유체를 완충 챔버 쪽으로 흐르게 한다. 유한요소법(FEM)을 이용하여 박막과 밸브 입구의 크기, 박막의 두께 등을 변화시켜가며 박막의 응력과 변형을 해석하였고 해석 결과로부터 밸브 시트의 높이를 결정하였다. 마이크로머시닝으로 두 기판을 제작하고 조립한 후, 순방향과 역방향의 압력에 대한 유량을 측정하여 파릴린 체크 밸브의 특성을 시험하였다.

대학, 기업 및 국 공립 출연 연구소의 연구 활동 종사자는 학술적 연구 및 신기술, 신물질의 개발을 통해 우리나라 과학기술 발전에 크게 기여하고 있다. 그러나 이와 더불어 각종 안전사고에 노출되어 있는 것도 사실이다. 연구실험실에서 발생한 사고 원인을 분석해 보면, 실험실 기능의 불비, 설비 및 유지관리의 불충분, 실험공간의 협소, 실험 작업 안전에 대한 배려부족, 안전전문가의 부족과 교육훈련체제의 미흡 등을 지적할 수 있으며, 이와 같은 빈번한 사고발생은 우수한 연구 활동종사자의 연구 의욕을 떨어뜨리고, 건강과 생명에 위협을 느끼게 하고 있다. 따라서, 실험실 안전을 위해서 "연구실 안전 환경 조성에 관한 법률"이 제정되어 2006년 4월 1일부터 시행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 연구실험실 안전관리 체크리스트들을 검토하고, 안전관련 분야에서 사용되고 있는 심의 체크리스트를 조사하여, 대학 및 연구기관의 연구소에서 연구활동을 하는 연구원들의 건강과 안전 환경 조성을 위해 실질적이고 효과적으로 사용 가능한 "공통 표준 체크리스트"를 개발하고, 각 연구실험실의 실험특성 중 화재 예방을 위한 화학/화공 분야 표준 체크리스트를 개발하였다. 실험실 안전은 연구종사자의 올바른 안전의식, 연구관련 부서의 체계적 지원 및 실험실 안전 관련 법령의 완비가 뒷받침 되었을 때 비로소 가능한 일이다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 체크리스트가 이에 기여할 것이라 사료되며, 추후 화학/화공 분야의 실험실 안전관리 실태조사의 지침서로 활용되도록 하는데 그 목적이 있다.

A mobile host is prone to failure due to lack of stable storage, low bandwidth of wireless channel, high mobility, and limited battery life on the wireless network. Many researchers have studied to overcome these problems. For high level Availability in the cellular networks, it is necessary to consider recovery from the failures of mobile support stations as well as mobile as mobile hosts. In this paper, we present modified trickle scheme for recovery from failures of Mobile Support Station based on checkpointing scheme and analyze and compare the performance. We propose and analyze the performance of two schemes : one is waiting recovery scheme for the mobile support station having the last checkpoint and the other is searching the new path to the another mobile support station having the checkpoint.

In this paper, we introduce the model so-called Explainable Fact-Checking model based on attention mechanism which shows both the result of fact check of the news and the evidence of verdict. Recently, several news surge on media, so fact check attracts much attentions. However, in present fact check relies on the search made by journalists and members of fact check orgainzation, so there is some researchs about automated fact checking. Therefore in this paper we propose explainable automated fact checking model.

전문대학 학생을 대상으로 외재적 동기 부여에 초점을 맞추어 교수자가 개입하여, 한 학기 학습 계획에 따라 학습자가 학습수행 체크 리스트를 작성하게 하고 그 효과 분석을 통해 학습동기에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다.
