  • 최근 콘솔 게임 시장은 닌텐도 위 출시 이후 체감형 인터페이스 기반의 게임들이 주류를 이루고 있다. 기존의 조이스틱 혹은 조이패드 중심의 콘솔 게임 시장은 체감형 인터페이스의 등장으로 인해 메이저 회사들의 다양한 인터페이스 개발을 유도하고 시장 규모도 점점 확대되고 있다. 그러나 콘솔 게임의 경우 개발 회사의 인터페이스 및 콘텐츠에 종속되어 사용해야 하기 때문에 확장성이 떨어지고 일반인들이 사용하기 어려운 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 해결하기 위해 스마트폰을 활용한 PC게임용 체감형 인터페이스를 제안한다. 스마트폰의 다양한 센서를 활용하여 PC게임을 제어하고 다양한 응용 프로그램들을 제어할 있는 방안을 제시하여 향후 PC게임에서도 체감형 인터페이스를 활용한 다양한 콘텐츠들이 활성화되기를 기대해본다.

  • In this paper, an interface for the physical interactive game based on the exercise movement was designed. The interface which uses exercise motion detects was designed and applied to the physical interactive game. As a result, this application to the contents was made possible by combining the physical movements that involve motility through the training method. Furthermore, accurate exercise motions that correspond to each situation were induced using the game objects. The developed interface is expected to be used in a physical interactive game that incorporates other types of exercises.

  • As the world game marcket has been recording weak growth, the development of new gane concept is required to attract the gamer's attention from those who were fed up with the previous game paradigm. Recently, the game which can recognize the player's motions and provide new interaction between the game and user is more popular than ever before. In the games with somesthesia based on Virtual Reality, the sense of the reality is considered the most important factor for drawing immersion from the gamers. In this work, a new type of 3-axis accelerometer based interactive game interface which can effectively recognize the gamer' motion is suggested. Furthermore, various experiments are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

  • In the study, a tangible interface using iPhone is proposed to control a mobile robot, instead of remote control by a joystick or buttons. The robot is controlled by iPhone like a handle bar, since acceleration sensors of iPhone are used in the proposed method. The sensors measure the angles changed on the xyz coordinates of iPhone. And their sensor values are stabilized by digital filters. Bluetooth is chosen for communication between a mobile robot and iPhone. In this paper, four type methods are considered and one of the methods is selected for remote control of a mobile robot. Experimental results show that the robot is easily and conveniently controled by the tangible interface based on iPhone.

  • For development of physical interactive game recognized as next generation game, this study examines the present situation of physical interactive games and analyzes the problem that game contents lack development compared to the hardware. This paper firstly divides the problem of physical interactive game contents into three parts: demand of the contents and biased game genre, low level of game difficulty, and limited use and/or misuse of the motion controller. Then, the possible solutions for each part are suggested afterward. As the discussion on the development methods in physical interactive game will also develop and therefore, as the next generation game, physical interactive game will play a positive role in th growth of game industry as well as game culture.

  • Recently, as one method of the game manipulation, physical interactive game is increasing, which controls the program by direct human movement. Tangible interface for physical interactive game implementation can control virtual model directly through real world object. A digital desk, one of the tangible interface, offers the interface that human can manipulate virtual object directly, by making projection screen on real world desk as computer display device. In this paper, we implement "Battle Region" game in the form of tangible interface, which can offer game users an efficient and amusing experiences by the use of physical interactive game. Traditional game cannot pursuit the diversity of game background contents but our game can do it through Map image projection. From this, game provider can supply the diversity of choice and users ran set up the difficulty of game. Therefore, our implemented game can offer users an efficient and amusing experiences by making game user's challenge and satisfaction maximum.

  • Interactive-typed devices and contents that have been often applied in the field of entertainment and game are the technology that allows you to maximize the enjoyment and participation of users through the interaction of each. In this paper, we designed an interactive-typed smartphone app that is based on the Android platform, implemented the wearable Bluetooth device to control via a interactive interface with a vibration sensor and three-axis acceleration sensor. We tested the functionality and 3-axis motion's operability by using smartphone app, interface interactive-typed device that has been developed, prove useful as a wearable Bluetooth device that has the convenience of the user. Further, it is shown that by implementing the optimized protocol of the sensor data transfer over Bluetooth, it is possible to reduce the malfunction of the content of the smart phone.

  • 최근에는 지진의 발생 빈도가 높아지고 발생되는 재난의 규모가 점차 증가되고 있다. 무인항공기(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, UAV)은 이동 속도가 빠르고 장착된 카메라로 감시가 가능하기 때문에 넓은 지역의 재난 상황을 모니터링하거나 발생 여부를 감시하기에 적합하다. UAV의 기능이 점차 증가되면서 이를 조종하기 위한 방법도 복합해지고 있기 때문에 전통적인 조종기 기반의 조종 방법이 아닌 새로운 형태의 사용자 인터페이스가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 소방방재용 UAV를 제어하기 위한 사용자 인터페이스를 제안한다. 직관적인 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하기 위해서 체감형 인터페이스를 적용한다.

  • This paper proposes interactive game elements for children : contents, design, sound, gesture recognition, and speech recognition. Interactive games for early children must use the contents which reflect the educational needs and the design elements which are all bright, friendly, and simple to use. Also the games should consider the background music which is familiar with children and the narration which make easy to play the games. In gesture recognition and speech recognition, the interactive games must use gesture and voice data which hits to the age of the game user. Also, this paper introduces the development process for the interactive skipping game and applies the child-oriented contents, gestures, and voices to the game.
