  • 전달 경로 해석 기법은 NVH 문제 해결 프로세스에서 자주 사용되는 기법으로서 소음원 X 전달 경로= 응답 모델을 사용한 접근방식입니다. 수음(응답)점에서 문제의 진동 및 소음 응답을 고체 및 공기 음원이 응답에 미치는 기여도 또는 개별 경로, 모드, 판넬 기여도의 합으로 세분화하여 표시함으로써, 문제의 원인을 규명하고, 문제 해결 및 대책 방안에 대한 통찰력을 제시하며, NVH 문제의 해결을 위해 사용되는 필수적인 도구입니다. 본 강좌에서는 건물에 설치되는 설비의 작동 시 고체 음원 평가 및 철도 소음의 공기음과 구조음 기여도 평가를 위해 적용된 전달 경로 해석 기법 사례를 소개할 것입니다. 설비 작동시의 전달 경로 해석 기법에 의해 평가된 고체 음원의 신뢰성 확보를 위하여 $\bullet$ 직접 측정된 하중 데이터와 역행렬 기법에 의해 예측된 하중 비교 및 $\bullet$ 가진 햄머로 가진시의 가진력과 측정된 가속도 신호를 사용하여 역행렬 기법으로 계산된 하중의 비교를 수행하였습니다. 철도 소음의 공기음 및 고체음 기여도 평가를 위해서는 $\bullet$ 열차 주행중 철로에서 측정된 가속도를 사용하여 철로면에 가해지는 하중을 역행렬 기법으로 계산하였으며 $\bullet$ 철로 주변에서 거리별 측정된 소음중, 고체음의 기여도 파악을 위해서, 전달 경로 해석기법으로 예측된 고체음과 측정된 소음을 비교하였습니다.

  • Property development along railway lines is a critical issue at present. Because various railway lines exist in most large cities, there are numerous properties and open spaces to be developed for communities associated with these lines. The active development of railway properties can be a means to resolve housing shortage problems in cities. In this first part of this paper, noise and vibration levels of an artificial area of land and apartment complex are measured and evaluated to derive a design strategy for vibration reduction purposes.

  • Recently, there is an increasing interest on railway noise and vibration. Accordingly, the importance of technology that can assess the vibration and structural noise caused due to the railway operation is increasing. Additionally, the need to construct a railway noise and vibration database which is a basic data for a reliable railway noise and vibration assessment as well is increasing. However, the problem is that the currently constructed database fails to include the factors influencing the occurrence of noise and vibration sufficiently. Therefore, In this paper, design a railway noise and vibration database that includes those factors sufficiently and which enables the continuous data management and accumulation.

Aerodynamic Noise Characteristics of High-speed Trains by the Beamforming Method (빔형성 기법을 이용한 고속철도차량의 공력소음특성 도출 연구)

  • In this paper, aerodynamic noise characteristics of high-speed trains were deduced from the beamforming method. First, pass-by noise of high-speed trains was measured by a microphone array system. This measurement suggested that the majority of the aerodynamic noise produced came from the bogie area, the pantograph and its cover, and inter-coach gaps. Then, beampower outputs of a position in high-speed trains were obtained from the beamforming method. By Fourier transform, sound characteristics of the position in the frequency domain were deduced from the beamforming power spectrum. From this study, aerodynamic noise characteristics from the major sources of high-speed trains were drawn.

  • In this paper, noise source localization of the Korean high speed train was conducted by using delay and sum beam-forming method of a microphone array. At first, the microphone array having irregular configuration was designed and the resolution of which was analyzed from parameters such as 3-dB bandwidth and maximum side-lobe level. After the demonstration, the microphone array was applied on the high speed train and noise localization of the high speed train driving at 300 km/h was performed successfully.

  • An important source of noise from railways is rolling noise caused by wheel and rail vibrations induced by acoustic roughness at the wheel-rail contact. The main contributors to rolling noise are the sleepers, rail, and wheels. In order to analyze and predict rolling noise, it is necessary to understand the vibrating behaviors of railway tracks, as well as of the wheels. In the present paper, theoretical modeling methods for railway track are reviewed in terms of rolling noise; these methods are applied for the three representative types of domestic railway tracks operated: the conventional ballasted track, KTX ballasted track and KTX concrete track. The characteristics of waves propagating along rails are investigated and compared among the types of tracks. The tracks are modeled as discretely supported Timoshenko beams and are compared in terms of the averaged squared amplitude of velocity, which is directly related to the sound radiation from the rails.

  • Generally, sound power is one of the most significant factors to predict and assess noise from sound sources. However, many researchers developed indirect methods to calculate the sound power with noise level because it is impossible to measure sound power directly while a train is running. In this paper, we propose a method to estimate sound power generated due to wheel/rail interaction and propulsive equipment from the measurement of noise emitted from rolling stocks and verify the estimation method by comparing with the other sound power estimation formula. We also analyze the sound power of rolling stocks which are operating in domestic lines such as EMU, Mukoonghwa, KTX using the method proposed in this paper.

  • Standardization EMU in comparison with the existing EMU has been largely changed the material and section profile of the structure as the Aluminium made. This study is analytically predicted the influence of inner noise in tunnel running when the above change is made.

  • This paper presents results from experimental analysis of a friction-driven wheel responsible for generating wheel squeal noise. Squeal noise generating mechanism has been examined under the laboratory condition by the model rig on a small scale. Creep characteristics and squeal noise were observed by changing the possible variables, such as relative velocities and friction coefficients in time- and frequency-domain.
